  • Jim Ross Speaks On What Fans Can Expect From His One-Man Show

    0

WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross recently spoke to the Miami Herald about his “Ringside: An Evening With Jim Ross” show. “Q&As is such a viable part of what we do,” said the WWE Hall Of Famer. “I’m going to do a bit of a monologue and tell stories that tie to my journey, then the Q&A portion. The questions are no holds barred.”

JR continued, “Ask what you want. I don’t think it’s my place to edit the audience or suppress their curiosities. If I can answer it, I will. If the answer is going to embarrass someone or their families or if someone is just looking for the proverbial dirt, I always tell everybody they can ask me anything you choose and there is no topic that is off limits.”

Ross added, “That said I’m going to answer them or address them in good taste. It’s like someone asking, ‘Who is the most promiscuous wrestler that you ever knew?’ It’s just an analogy, but I can give them an answer. I don’t know if it would be accurate. I don’t know how that answer will set with someone’s family or grandchildren. I will address the question because I don’t want to be rude, but I won’t answer a question like that. I will reserve the right to address the question as I feel is appropriate, but if I do give you an answer, it will be honest.”

Sherman’s athletic ability and Sunday’s controversial post-game interview showed that he would excel in the ring” and “No. It takes a lot more than a tipped football and some trash talking to succeed in WWE.” Currently, with 4,173 votes cast, “Yes” leads the poll with 62 percent, while 38 percent have voted no.

  • DDP Suggests Sherman-Crabtree WrestleMania Match, Schiavone Blogs On Subject

    3

Diamond Dallas Page has landed on the TMZ website for his idea to match NFL stars Richard Sherman and Michael Crabtree at WrestleMania following Sherman’s already-infamous post-game promo on Sunday night.

You can check out the TMZ story TMZ.com.

Speaking of the Sherman promo, former WCW announcer Tony Schiavone weighed-in on the story. Schiavone wrote about the pro wrestling influence on major sports, especially the NFL.

“So before you spit on the ground when someone talks about the WWE or professional wrestling, realize they have been at the forefront of what you see now from the NFL, the NBA, Fox, and ESPN. They have probably also been at the forefront of the decline in sportsmanship by fans,” Schiavone wrote on Monday. “And that is one of the reasons I always loved it so much.”

The following are highlights of a recent interview with MLB Advanced Media CEO Bob Bowman:

On WWE’s decision to offer their monthly PPVs on the WWE Network: “I don’t think they’ll be giving it up; it’ll still be available. The notion of doing a monthly subscription for terrific content, others have done it before. But Vince (McMahon) is taking it to the next obvious level. He put his fans and customers first and in the long-run and maybe even the short run it will be well received.”

On WWE targeting a younger audience with the WWE Network: “The real infrastructure is customer expectations, and that’s the No. 1 thing that’s changed. They’re used to buying soft goods online. They’re doing it two to three times more than they used to three or four years ago. This next generation of fans watches long-form video on an iPhone. We never thought that would happen. • “Mean” Gene Okerlund Speaks On Legends House, Warrior/HOF, Hogan’s Return

    2

The following are highlights of a recent interview with WWE Hall Of Famer “Mean” Gene Okerlund:

On WWE Network: “I think this is gonna go down, probably, when we look back at it, I may not be here, for that matter, you guys may not be here, but if you look at 30-40 years from now, it’s revolutionary. And who knows if the internet is gonna be here 30-40 years from now. Things change.”

On Legends House: “We did it in March and April of 2012. So you’re taking a look at pretty close to two years, but it’s been kept under wraps, and that’s beyond me because I’m on the inside track in the company…” The producers took away cell phones, computers, televisions and newspapers and they tried to get you pissed off at each other. And it worked for some of us, but I’m a kind of a low profile older guy, so it didn’t, but Pat Patterson and I had a wonderful time.”

On Old School RAW: “I love Old School Raw. It’s great to see the young guys… and young divas, that’s not beyond me, but I think it kind of mells the old with the new. I mean, you’ve got a Piper, you’ve got some of these new guys, The Shield, and of course some of these old time guys who are kind of the stalwarts of the company, you know, Hunter, certainly John Cena, but I think there’s something to be extracted from the past and what it delivers to a current audience. Becauase a lot of these people grew up with Piper, they grew up with Hogan, they grew up with the Macho Man, they grew up with a guy who’s going to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, The Ultimate Warrior, and why the hell that’s happening is beyond me!”

On Ultimate Warrior: “Well, you know what, he was a huge draw for a limited amount of time. He was a World Heavyweight Champion, and I remember riding back in the car with Hogan when we left Toronto and went to Syracuse, New York, you know, he had some bad feelings about it.”

On if Ultimate Warrior going over Hulk Hogan was best for business: “Well, you know, I really tend to go with the feelings of the company. I was told this was gonna happen and this is the way it’s gonn be. We did interviews actually before the event, not that I’m letting the cat out of the bag, I would say that Hogan was against that move at that time… and he was probably right.”

On if he feels Hulk Hogan will be returning: “I kind of have to say that my hunch is, you might be seeing him shortly.”

  • 1991 Letters Between Ultimate Warrior & Vince McMahon Refute ‘SummerSlam 91’ Story

    17

The Ultimate Warrior will be making his first WWE appearance in 18 years when he gets inducted into WWE Hall of Fame on April 5th, 2014. A big part of Warrior’s most recent fallout with WWE involved the “Self Destruction Of The Ultimate Warrior” DVD (2005), which featured many WWE legends (as well as Vince McMahon) burying Warrior for his unprofessional conduct in the early 1990’s. One event in particular was that “Warrior held up Vince McMahon for money backstage at SummerSlam 1991.”  The Ultimate Warrior vehemently denied this story and provided proof in court back in 2009 that prove the story is completely false.

Below is the letter that The Ultimate Warrior wrote to Vince McMahon a month before SummerSlam 1991. On Page 2, you’ll see Vince McMahon’s letter to The Ultimate Warrior, agreeing to Warrior’s request, apologizing for their dispute and expressing his desire to continue their working relationship.

Here are the letters from Ultimate Warrior to Vince McMahon (7/10/1991), click to enlarge:

    6LkTqYis IOI5uo9s  hXyiWsws  HLhtPdIs 6LkTqYis

    Here’s the letter transcribed:

    “Vince,

Writing this is a different approach in expressing my feelings about the things we discussed the last 2 days under the pressure of TV. Knowing that any second someone would be knocking on the door, etc. Every other avenue we tried – via phone, face to face, myself still walking away with unanswered questions. Always put off till a later date. Always with the same result – no result.

Writing sometimes allows a person to express feelings or say things that don’t come in conversations such as we have. Some of the things will once again become repetitive – so what I’ve heard “in an Essence” at least a million times. I’ve tried to speak as a friend but sometimes you don’t hear. I’ve spoken as a professional but the direction always gets changed. No, you never let me leave without a response, but the words you speak never have any definitives. My whole life for the last 5 years has had no room for anything but definitives (Los Angeles on Thurs, San Diego on Friday, San Francisco Sat. Sacramento on Sunday, Prime Time on Monday…) but you always have to have the best way of time. Time to say stew things over to work them your way.

I have been from day 1 different from the others. I have sacrificed myself enough both in my personal life and physical well being. The fairness you say you want everyone to have is unfair to me. I grew in 5 years to become what the “Ultimate Warrior” is today, Always questioning, but nonetheless taking him in the direction you wanted him to go past any particular time. Done what would and has taken other 10-15 years.

The points and suggestions you have made over the last 5 years were very well taken. Now I look at other individuals with less than 1/3 the creativity, desire and hunger I had (have) and wonder how you can look and see them as The One. For you as a friend I pray all the things you believe in rise to the surface and present themselves.

Then there is the side that says “What the f man?” When I was thought of as The One the topics of conversation were – “Treat the veterans with respect”. The veterans you spite are the very ones who will fuck it up for you. No matter, I listened. I would go to ring push myself to the brink of a heart attack and you would say “When you go to the corner – SMILE”?!?! You spoke of the Ultimate Warrior appealing to all, old, young, ugly, beautiful, fat, skinny, black, white.

A character who would show ups and downs emotions and intensities, sensitivities and cold-heartedness when it was needed. Like a yo-yo I obliged so I could be The One. Where the hell are this man’s ups and downs. – Total jugular-vein popping yelling at all times. Is this the Total Picture, character, or presentation that can be The One? I learned with you to show intensity at this level but also to show just as much intensity with the look of my eyes or with the whisper of my voice or even better – extreme intensity in total silence. I did all you asked.

The the long-term plan changed. At first I was reluctant for what I believed were the right reasons – but once again I went with what I knew I could believe in – “Vince has never fucked me.” I dealt with what you thought was best no matter what the cost to me, no matter the countless # of sleepless nights there were to come, no matter the # of times I had to knock on your door with questions I should never have had.

For the last 2 1/12 years I should have never had the questions I did. To stand and make a videotaped apology for something I never did made me realize all we have is business.

Once again I went without sleep, if ever I do so again it will be because I elect to, not because my wandering mind says to do so.

In reaching this conclusion I ask for these things. You say 500,000 for Wrestlemania is unfair, then I say the last 8 1/2 years of not being compensated equally when I meant as much or more to the company was total bullshit and most definitely unfair. I have sacrificed more than 500,000 more than 1 million dollars, even more in monies that should have been paid to mein receiving equal compensation as Hulk.

I paid my goddamn dues long ago. I need not pay anymore. I have given everything and never once was there a knock on my fucking door. Whether to bullshit as a friend or help me thru my times of need or you trusting me to help you thru yours.

I ask for these things Vince and the answers must come for the next event is upon you. It has been for me the 5 years and for you to tell me you need to ealuate whether or not I’m cost-effective and this takes time us unfair. A show runs at a given time and date – I have always been there, never asking for time to see if I have the rest, food or whatever it takes to make it. Now I ask the same of you.

I want (1) $550,000 release from the monies alloted me to purchase my home. This will suffice as my Wrestlemania VII payoff, but let it be noted it is not fair. I meant as much or more to that show as Hulk – I deserve to be paid the same (I know what Hulk will get)
    (2) 4 days off every other time off period – except Pay Per View only.
    (3) I want the same pay cut as Hulk gets on all Pay-Per-Views, SNME, FRIDAY PRIMETIME, house shows and proof as such. The same pay cut applies to what Hulk has been paid with relationshio to past events Wrestlemania V, VI, VII i.e when Hulk was top draw.
    (4) I want numbers and prove of monies done on 1-900-Hulk and likewise same pay cut.
    (5) Same pay cut on all forms of merchandising.

Because I have had to always knock on your door, words alone are not good enough. I understand Doug Sages is on Vacation, call him take his days off away like you do to the boys and myself and have it written. Everytime I had to knock upon your door upon leaving I have always apologized. I no longer feel I have any reason to apologize, therefore I will not. I have tried to speak as a friend, but maybe I don’t have the qualities you required to seek me out as a friend. The videotaped apology was the icing on the cake – you see it as business so whether I like it or not I must do the same. Whatever your decision I can and will live with it. Till then I remain home with one who cares.

    -Jim”

  • Former TNA Knockout Says Rock Inspired Her, Wants To Be Female Mysterio, More

    4

The following press release was issued today:

Pro-Wrestler Thea Trinidad (Rosita) Admits Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Inspired Her to Act and Says She Wants to be the Female Rey Mysterio on Maria Menounos’ Black Hollywood Live Network

Los Angeles, CA, January 20th, 2014 – (blackhollywoodlive.com) Pro-wrestler, actress, and model Thea Trinidad is a rare woman. Don’t let her petite stature fool you, at 4’10 ¾”, she packs a mean punch and eats, sleeps, and breathes wrestling. “It’s something I’m almost addicted to…wrestling, it’s weird, but it’s always been that. Everybody looks at me like, ‘Oh my god, you’re so small, why would you want to mess up your face, what are you doing?’ But I’m in love with it.”

During her appearance on “Next”, an interview series on Maria Menounos’ Black Hollywood Live network that delivers long-form, in-depth interviews with various up and coming talent in Hollywood, Trinidad explained how her love for wrestling came from her father, an amateur wrestler, who passed away in the 9/11 attacks, when she was just 10 years old. “I went through a period where it was just denial. I didn’t believe that what I was seeing was real to the point where, because my dad would pick me up every weekend..for a few months, I would still get ready as if he was going to come.”

Trinidad talks to the “Next” hosts about her wrestling idol, before starting a career in the ring. She said, “Rey Mysterio was my inspiration when it came to that. He was someone that I looked at… He’s so small, but he can do so much… I want to be the female Rey Mysterio. Whether it’s with a mask or not, I want to be him.”

With wrestling being such a physical sport, Trinidad has had her fair share of injuries. However, she never let her wounds stop her from finishing a match. Trinidad recalls one of her scariest moments in the ring. “Recently in November at Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore show, it was me and Carlita vs. Victoria and Stevie Richards. I’m about to run at [Victoria] and tackle her, I think she had a ring on or something, maybe she forgot to take it off. [Victoria’s] fist hit my eye… I was half blinded throughout the whole match, and that was at the very beginning of the match…but I just had to push through especially because that show meant a lot to me.”

As females become more prominent in the wrestling industry, Trinidad hopes to break the mold of the quintessential wrestling image. “I have a double whammy, I’m a woman and I’m small. I have both working against me in a way, so for people to say ‘I like her because she’s like me’ or ‘that’s cool that somebody so little can do that’, I’m hoping to break that mold and give women’s wrestling a nice little different look besides the big boob blonde hair chicks” said Trinidad.

Men are known for dominating the wrestling industry, but women have earned their spot over the years. Trinidad commented “With wrestling, you don’t have that great of a window if you’re a woman. So for me, I’d say around 30 to 35 is where I’d be like “OK, I’m good”. But if I haven’t accomplished everything I’ve wanted to and still have a chance to, then I’m going to keep doing it.”

She still has dreams of becoming the Women’s Champion, join WWE, participate in WrestleMania, and perform at Madison Square Garden, a place she frequently visited with her father.

Although Trinidad has found success in wrestling, she has also began to explore a career in acting, recently landing one of her biggest roles yet, in the worldwide release of “Army of the Damned.” Trinidad credits Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as her personal wrestler-turned-actor inspiration, but she also acknowledges the opportunity to use her own career to inspire others.

“I’ve been wrestling since I was 17, but even now after TNA, I still can’t believe all these people know about me…When I hear people’s story’s of how I’ve inspired them and how my story has about my dad, its crazy to hear and that’s all I ever wanted. Just to show I had everything working against me: I’m small, my memory isn’t all there, but I was a hard worker and I wanted people to realize, you may have weight problems working against you, height problems, whatever, but you can still conquer it and go for your dreams.”

  • Former TNA Announcer Speaks On TNA Departure Of Hogan, Jarrett & Styles

    2

The following are highlights of a recent interview with former TNA announcer Todd Kenley:

On Hulk Hogan’s departure: “I think it was time. I think Hulk went in there and did everything he could do to help the TNA brand and he did a lot of good for them in terms of opening that door to different media channels and a lot of international business. I think he played a solid role. Hulk wasn’t just a figure head. He was in those meetings, he was in creative meetings, he was taking time, he was helping guys fine tune the little nuances in ring and on the mic. He was very active, so anyone who thinks Hulk was there just sitting there collecting a check is wrong and i can tell you that first hand.”

On Jeff Jarrett’s departure: “That one was definitely a big head turner, i mean here’s a guy that really put himself out there, founded that company, took a chance did the weekly PPVs, got on Fox Sports at one point, eventually teamed up with the Carters, got on Spike TV. You think about the roller coaster this guy went through and the sacrifices he made to keep that company around is unbelievable so to walk away from it it’s got to be for a good reason one would think. You read the rumors that he’s going to start his own thing and we’ll see. I honestly hope he does, because the more variety and more opportunity for talented people in this business to get work, be seen and make a living the better. He’s obviously got a great mind for the business, but yeah that’s one where if you followed TNA from day one then he’s the guy who started it all so you gotta look at it and say whats going on here.”

On AJ Styles’ departure: “Time will tell whats really going on there. Obviously as much as Jeff Jarrett founded TNA and is synonymous with TNA in terms of a in ring competitor he’s been labeled at times the poster boy of TNA wrestling, AJ Styles is another guy that you just saw his career, you basically him basically grow up in the business in TNA. They were the ones that really gave him a big opportunity to shine and you saw him go from X Division competitor to holding tag team gold all the way to becoming World Champion. He’s a guy you can’t help but respect, a guy that has tons of class, hard worker, great attitude in terms of working with people. So another guy just like Jarrett where you like wow if they really let him go whats the deal.”

    – Alicia Fox def. Aksana in Divas action. This was the Fan’s Choice match. Finish saw Fox hit Aksana with her Watch Yo Face scissors kick for the 1-2-3.

    – Goldust & Cody Rhodes def. The Real Americans to retain their WWE Tag-Team Championships. This was a solid 15-minute match that was said to be among the best in-ring action of the evening. The finish saw Goldust hit his sunset flip/powerbomb on Cesaro for the pinfall.

    – Luke Harper & Erick Rowan def. Kane in a two-on-one handicap match. Maddox says he knows Kane still wants a match, so he has surprise opponents for him. This led to Harper and Rowan coming out. They beat Kane up for the most part and Rowan pinned him for the win after Harper blasted him with his clothesline.

    – Alberto Del Rio def. Sin Cara in the second-to-last match on the card. This was said to be a pretty good match. The finish saw Del Rio force Sin Cara to submit to his Cross Armbreaker finishing hold.

    – John Cena def. Randy Orton via Disqualification in the main event of the show. This is the same exact match they’ve been doing around the country, with Orton purposely low-blowing Cena as Cena was about to beat him, strictly to avoid losing his WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

And woke up three days later with more problems. That’s the funny thing about drugs and alcohol. There’s no problem that gets better when you get high. It will be back.”

On having to overcome changes in his life and heading in the right direction: “Yeah, man. Oh god brother, it’s–life is so wonderful, man. I mean it’s great to wake up in the morning and remember what you did the night before. It’s also great to wake up knowing that you have kids that love you and grandchildren that love you and they’re not ashamed of you anymore. And they don’t have to check in with you to make sure that you are in the visiting mode. Because there were a lot of days, man that I wouldn’t answer the phone. A lot of days that I didn’t want to talk to anybody. And a lot of days you didn’t want to see me. It was just a point for me where it got to; I took down all the mirrors in my house cause I didn’t want to look at my stupid ass. And what I became. But having said that; I’ve been to a lot of rehabs. Compliments of WWE. But I’ve also been to a few jails, but I never met anybody in a place who said you know what, Jake? When I was a kid, my dream was to grow up and become a drug addict or an alcoholic. Nobody dreams of that. Nobody wants that. But that’s the animal you invite into your house man, if you start doing the wrong thing. People often say, “Well Jake, why did you do drugs?” Cause I liked that stuff! I liked it! It was cool for a while. A short while. But at some point, it no longer became a choice to do that drug or drink. It was a necessity. And as soon as it became a necessity, it takes the life away from you and it owns your life. So guys and girls out there, don’t be a stupid snake and do that stuff. Because sooner or later, you’re gonna pay the piper. If you do the dance, somebody’s gonna pay the fiddler, okay? And that’s that. Okay, now let’s move on to happy shit.”

On if he ever thought he’d be walking down the aisle in WWE again: “No, god no. No, I’d already given up on that man. That was one of the hardest things about getting sober was looking at the carnage I’d created. And remembering some of these statements–oh my god! I must’ve been so F upped. But you know what a drug addict or an alcoholic can justify any sin. I can justify murder when I’m high. I can justify rape when I’m high. I can justify anything when I’m wanting my dope. And that’s the sickness. And some of the stuff I said about WWE and McMahon and anybody else up there, was just me lashing out because of my hate for myself. That’s not an excuse to do it. It shows me how big they are; not only to pay for rehab for an asshole that’s going out here and blasting the hell out of them, but they also–for them to open the door and say “Dude, come back.” And it’s like are you serious? Cause I had given up on that. I’d truly given up on them–I gave up on the Hall Of Fame, I gave up on everything. Like you know, what the hell man; Koko B. Ware’s there and I’m not? Are you serious? Geez. Warrior? Christ, man. That really hurts.”

On Ultimate Warrior’s Hall Of Fame induction and how he and Warrior’s careers can’t be compared: “I know, man! I know that. But maybe they’re taking in assholes and not great talent. I don’t know.”

On WrestleMania XXX being in New Orleans and wanting to get into the Hall Of Fame: “I know. If I was writing a book and I wanted a perfect ending; which I did write a book. About my life. It’ll be coming out about April 1st, man. Because of my career and life; it’s a trilogy. The first book is about the first 15-20 years of my life and career before I got to the WWE. And it’s the most interesting part, I think. And it’ll be coming out. There’s also a movie Diamond Dallas Page has been working on since I started this process; this resurrection if you will. It’ll be coming out soon. And I’ve got so many great things happening in my life right now that to be honest with you, I don’t know if I could fit that in! It’s fun to say no. Of course I wouldn’t say no (on being inducted to the HOF). Are you serious? I love wrestling, okay? I don’t love wrestlers cause there are a lot of them–just cause they have tights, don’t mean they’re wrestlers, okay? But there are a lot of assholes–they can take that stuff off, put it in a big pile and moving forward; their boots, burn it and never come back to wrestling. You’d be doing wrestling a favor. But no, I have a true passion for it. I’ve got a lot that I want to offer now. Will it ever happen on the level that I want it? I doubt it. Cause I’d certainly love to contribute to the product today. I would love to teach. I don’t know if there’s enough hours in the day to teach all the people I think I need to teach. But I would certainly try. I just love wrestling, man. Nobody understands it unless you’ve been there. I’m not talking about walking out and getting in the ring. I’m talking about being a guy that–wrestling is the only lover I never cheated on, okay? I screwed around on my wife but when it came to wrestling brother, I was there. If I was f’d up, I’d go to the ring and put in twice the time. If I was sick–to me, that’s the mark of a true professional. A true professional is somebody that at there physical and mental worst, they will go out and raise the bar and go above that bar. Because I felt guilty about if I got f’d up the night before oh man, you jerk! How dare you cheat these fans? And I’d go out and put in twice the time.”

On being deserving of a Hall Of Fame induction: “Well, whether you deserve it or not is not up to me man. And my life isn’t dependent upon that. If it doesn’t happen this year, maybe it’ll happen next year. I can only hope. I’m not going to let that take me down, man. Where as before, I could think of any reason to get high. ‘I didn’t get this; I didn’t get that; they screwed me over this; they screwed me over that.’ Yeah, yeah, yeah. I can fabricate any bullshit. But right now I’m just stating what’s the truth. The truth is I’m not in there and that’s okay. That’s okay. Look, I came back to Raw, brother! And I stole the f’ing show.”

On Diamond Dallas Page: “It’s real simple. That guy saved my life man. That guy is changing millions of people’s lives right now. If you don’t do his program, you’re an idiot. Bottom line. You’re a fricking idiot. And it’s fixed to get even grander and grander. Cause there’s more things in the works, and once they get sprung on the public man; it’s gonna blow your minds, man. I couldn’t be more proud to be associated with him. Not only because what he did for me but more so for what he’s done for all these other people. I mean it’s crazy the number of people he has effected. The number of people he has brought back to real life. The number of effected people who have dropped a 100 lbs; a 125 lbs; 200 lbs! We have a guy that’s dropped over 200 lbs and he’s still 400 lbs. And this guy is doing it! I don’t know how–he saves lives man. He is a constant; constantly on the move. Shaking and baking and meeting; talking. Everybody that buys his damn DVD; he calls them! Are you serious? This resurrection, this life is so good man. If you’re not happy with your life, it’s pretty simple: change it! Change it. If you’re not happy with your woman, toss her. If you’re not happy with your wife, divorce that and move on to the next one. It’s your choice. You can lay in that sh*t and live, if you want to call it that. That’s not living man; it’s existence. Or you can start making changes. I’ve dropped 75 lbs. I can get up and down. I can move now. I can wrestle again. When I retired two years ago, it left a big hole in my heart! I’m 58 years old and I’m in the best shape of the last 25-30 years. I’m so pissed off at myself. Why didn’t I do this sooner? Why didn’t I do this sooner? Because the program is not that hard. It is not hard. I’ll tell ya it is not hard to do. Anybody can do it. There’s adjustments you can make and modifications you can make in this program. There’s no–in a fricking wheelchair you can do this! So what’s your excuse? If Jake Roberts can be clean and sober, lose 75 lbs, return to wrestling and be victorious in his resurrection; what the F is your excuse? That’s all I got to say.”

On where he ranks the Old School RAW moment in his career: “I don’t know man cause it hasn’t really sunk in. I still keep waking up thinking, okay it didn’t really happen. Okay, that did not happen. I don’t know man. It was so surreal. It just hasn’t sunk in. It hasn’t sunk in. All this grandiosity and all that stuff man, it has not got into my bones yet. Because I denied it for so long. You understand? I said it wasn’t going to happen for so long even though it has happened, I don’t believe it. And maybe that’s a good thing. Maybe I’ll keep striving in the right direction. Having said that; they can’t take it away from me, so f— them! (Laughing)”
