1

The following press release was issued today:

Team 3D Academy, “Hope for a Single Mom” and Hulk Hogan Fight to End Breast Cancer

Melbourne, Florida – September 14, 2013 – The Team 3D Academy of Professional Wrestling and Sports Entertainment, lead by Former WWE/TNA Superstar Devon Hughes, p/k/a Brother Devon, is proud to announce that they will be teaming with the “Hope for a Single Mom” charity for a second consecutive year.

This year’s event will be held on September 14, 2013 at the Melbourne Auditorium in Melbourne, FL. The event’s festivities will kick off at 5:00 PM with shopping, face
painting, a meet and greet with the famous Hooters girls, plus Hooters wings and beer provided by World of Beer Viera and Live music featuring the band Funpipe and JAM Masters DJs.

Then at 7:00 PM, the bell will sound for fast paced, family friendly professional wrestling action. Alongside Devon Hughes for the event will be fellow Aces and 8’s members Garret Bischoff, Wes Brisco and Mike Knox.

Also on hand will be TNA Impact Wrestling Stars Samoa Joe, Sam Shaw, SoCal Val, Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle, former TNA/Current ROH Star Jay Lethal and WWE Hall of Famer/TNA Star “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan. The card will also showcase the abilities of several of Team 3D Academy’s students.

Tickets for this event are available in advance by contacting Premiere Medical Aesthetics (321)-608-8160, by visiting the Hooters restaurant locations in Melbourne & Merritt Island or UNOs Chicago Grill Viera. For VIP Tickets call 321-759-3409

On September 8, 2012, Devon Hughes, teamed with “Hope for a Single Mom” in order to put on a family friendly wrestling show at Viera High School in Melbourne, FL. All proceeds from the show went towards the “Hope for a Single Mom” charity. The show which featured many of the Team 3D academy students was able to raise over $7,000. This year’s event has grown in size and hopes to be even more of a success than last year.

The “Hope for a Single Mom” charity was started 3 years ago. Every year, the two founders and the people at Breast Friends of Florida choose a single mother to raise money for in order to help with medical and other expenses that have been incurred to lost income while battling cancer.

Devon is a former TNA Television Champion and 23 time World Tag Team champion along with his long time tag team partner, Bubba/Bully Ray, holding championships in every major organization in North America, including TNA, WWE, ECW, WCW, NWA as well as Japan. They are the most decorated team in the history of Professional Wrestling.

The Team 3D Academy was opened in May of 2007 and prides itself on having trained some of the best young talent in professional wrestling today, having students signed to WWE Developmental contracts, TNA Gut Check, Ring of Honor (ROH), and Zero-1 Japan.

The Team 3D Academy, located in Kissimmee, FL, is under an open enrollment policy and is always accepting new students. All interested in joining the Team 3D Academy may visit www.team3dacademy.com and also on Facebook at www.facebook.com/pages/Team-3D-Academy-of-Professional-Wrestling/.

More Backstage RAW News: Reason For Christian Angle, Santino Marella’s Return

7

-WWE Superstar Santino Marella’s return on Monday’s live edition of RAW from Toronto, Ontario, Canada was apparently planned well in advance. The idea from WWE was to have Santino return in Toronto to guarantee the babyface character a massive pop from his hometown audience.

-The angle on Monday’s RAW where Christian was beaten up by The Shield and dragged out on stage in front of his former tag-team partner and real-life friend, Edge, was a decision made to garner more heat on Triple H and his “new regime,” as well as to explain Christian’s absence from in-ring competition, as he is currently sidelined with a legitimate concussion.

Dolph Ziggler Defends Current Triple H & McMahon Family Storyline In WWE

10

WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler recently defended the current Triple H and McMahon Family storyline in an interview with Auburn Pub.

“Honestly, if you don’t find it interesting as a fan, then it’s on you,” said Ziggler. “Some of us hardcore fans have wanted something different, and now you’re getting this blurred reality. Are these real behind-the-scenes things taking place or part of the story? And it makes it much more fun. That’s what it’s all about: suspending reality. We give you a three-hour movie. And with the Internet and people being hardcore fans and knowing what’s going on behind the scenes, you’re not sure where the story stops and real life begins.”

Ziggler also talked about the McMahon Family eventually getting one-upped in the end. “Yeah. I’m not killing it right now, but it is setting that tone. There’s a gray area; you get to a point where they’re begging for something and someone steps up, but you also have to get there. As much as it seems to be hurting my career, personally, I hope we have sold-out arenas where people go, ‘Tonight’s the night.’ You can’t go flat-out where the bad guys win for six months — you need a nibble every now and then.”

Ziggler concluded, “In my head, I’m begging — ‘Gosh, is this my chance? Is tonight the night where I say, ‘Enough of this crap?’ I think it’s going great, it’s totally different, getting a point across, telling a story. And it is setting the tone, I’m assuming, for something big, whether I’m involved or not. I think it’s an important turn, like Batista when he was in Evolution, getting pushed around by Triple H. You’d go, ‘Is he going to get him? Not tonight.’ Then it blows the roof off. Hopefully, that’s the story we’re telling.”

WWE RAW Viewership: Detailed Breakdown Of RAW vs. Monday Night Football

8

WWE RAW held up fairly well against the NFL Monday Night Football games. The Philadelphia Eagles vs. Washington Redskins game did 16.52 million viewers.

WWE RAW on Monday night, the WWE Night Of Champions “go-home” edition of the show, drew 3.88 million viewers, down slightly from last week’s Labor Day edition of the show.

RAW on Monday did hours of 3.80 million viewers, 3.90 million viewers and 3.95 million viewers, showing steady growth from hour one through hour three.

It is interesting to note that the first hour fell in line with the normal average of the show, while hour two was way below the usual mark. Hour three, which went against the second NFL Monday Night Football game (Houston vs. San Diego — 10.95 million viewers) rose slightly even though the general pattern is for the final hour of RAW to decline.

We should have the final RAW rating up on the site shortly.

Total Divas Viewership Drops To Season Low

13

Viewership data is in for the most recent episode (Ep. 7) of WWE’s Total Divas reality show and it was the least-watched episode of the series thus far.

Sunday’s (9/8) Total Divas show averaged 1.091 million viewers, down almost 30% from what the series averaged over the first 6 weeks.

The show had some stiff competition on Sunday night and did not have “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” as a lead-in.

As reported earlier, Week 7 of Total Divas did see a modest uptick in social media activity.

This weekend’s season finale episode will focus on the wedding of Natalya and Tyson Kidd.

Interview With Total Divas Story Producer Michael Wehr

2

WWE Total Divas story producer Michael Wehr recently spoke with John Corrigan of Temple News. Here are some highlights of what he said about:

How He Joined the Show: “I lucked out. In Hollywood, they always say it’s who you know; it’s not a cliché. I was working on a show for TLC called ‘Gypsy Sisters’ and I was going to sign on for season two, but I started interviewing for other shows. One of my ex-coworkers recommended me to a friend of his, and all I heard was that it was a wrestling show about girl wrestlers. So I made the call to the powers that be and within 30 seconds, she told me it was for the WWE and I said I’ll sign on. I had to break some ties, but everybody knows you have to go where the work is, and I don’t think I could live with myself if I passed up on a WWE show.”

His Role On Total Divas: “I watch endless amounts of footage,” he said. “I take different aspects and form a story without manipulating it too much. Going in, the executive producers kind of have an idea of what direction they want to go in, but other times a scene will be shot and the story is not getting across, so we have to figure how to do that as quickly as possible. Two people could be having a heart-to-heart, and then all of a sudden a dog could run in barking with some kids and ruin the scene.”

RAW Social Media Score Declines Again, Most Stunning Defections

9

WWE.com has a feature up looking at the 10 Most Stunning Defections in WWE history, including Ric Flair jumping to WWE back in 1992 and the Outsiders showing up on WCW Nitro in 1996.

– Monday’s WWE RAW drew a social media score of 248,289, according to Trendrr.tv. The score has steadily declined each week since WWE SummerSlam.

This week’s 5% decline can be attributed to RAW going up against the first Monday Night Football games of the new season. RAW ranked #3 on cable for the night, behind the two NFL games.

Dusty Rhodes Returning To WWE?, Backstage Reaction To Goldust vs. Orton, RAW Rewrites

30

According to reports, Monday’s edition of WWE RAW was likely heavily rewritten at the last minute, as Vince McMahon was originally intended to be a major part of the show.

Lawler remarked on the one year anniversary of the occasion this morning via Twitter. He wrote,

“Thanks for all the thoughts & prayers from everyone about cardiac arrest 1 year ago today…thank God & Doc Sampson everything is fine now!”

Devon Talks About What’s Next For Him After Leaving TNA

7

Former TNA star Devon recently spoke with Florida Today about what’s next for him after leaving the company and becoming a free agent. He joked, “I’m going to Disney World!”

“Actually, I am going to spend more time with the family. I am not done with wrestling. I still have the Team 3D Academy in Kissimmee training wrestlers. There is still a lot for me to do, but I am going to relax a while and enjoy some time off. I will be able totrain more and get in the best shape of my life, and then focus on what is next. Only God knows what he has planned for me and where I am heading; I am just his co-pilot.”

When asked about if he has any regrets about the gimmicks he’s had throughout his career, he said:

“No,” he said. “Some might think I regret the Reverend D-Von character in the WWE, but I actually liked it. I think that was just a case where Paul Heyman and I just saw the character very differently. He is a genius and he would write these scripts for me that I didn’t feel were right for the character. If you don’t feel “it,” it is not going to work. It worked for awhile, but we were on two different pages. Paul created the Dudley Boyz and gave us our start, and I love that guy dearly, we just didn’t agree on the Reverend D-Von character. We bounced back after that character and went on to win championships, so it is all good.”

Detailed Post-RAW Notes: Another Fan Incident, Punk/Heyman/Axel Battle

53

SESCOOPS.COM reader Derek Gash sent along the following post-show notes from Monday’s WWE RAW in Toronto, Ontario, Canada:

The crowd was chanting “Thank You Savage” during matches as there was a fan dressed as Savage and looked just like him. The crowd kept getting live whenever he stood up.

Edge got the pop of the night being here in his hometown, followed by Santino Marella and Goldust,

During the commercial break after the RVD match, “The Macho Man” fan was spoken to by WWE staff. I’m not sure what they said to him but he toned it down from that point on. This seems like the fan incident last week on RAW where WWE staff came out and told fans dressed as Hogan, Piper, etc. to tone it down. The crowd had been distracted since the match between ADR and R-Truth due to the fan.

Damien Sandow had repeated a part of his promo that he did during the commercial break when the cameras returned live. It was the same stuff that he had already while during the break

After RAW went off the air, Curtis Axl and Paul Heyman came out. As they hit the ring, Punk’s music hit he came out with the kendo stick and hit Heyman a couple times. Heyman took off back up the stage and a match started between Axel and Punk. Punk landed a GTS on Axl and won via pinfall. Punk then proceeded to hit him with the chair and then celebrated with the Toronto crowd sending everyone happy.

Former WWE Superstar Zach Gowen is now writing at PWMania.com. Gowen posted his debut column talking about his unique story on how he broke into pro wrestling and WWE. He also writes on how pro wrestling helped him escape from life when he couldn’t cope. Here is an excerpt from his first entry:

“Pro wrestling helped me escape from life when I couldn’t cope. Pro wrestling provided me with common ground from which I could build foundations for lifelong relationships. Pro wrestling gave me a career and sense of direction when I needed it. My involvement with pro wrestling (more specifically WWE) saved my life when I was at a turning point. My subsequent recovery gave me my career back as well as the courage to pursue new career opportunities. To say I’m grateful for what this industry has done for me would be an understatement.”
