ir?t=se0e6 20&l=as2&o=1&a=1626361398WWE Hall of Famer Jesse Ventura’s new book “They Killed Our President: 63 Reasons to Believe There Was a Conspiracy to Assassinate JFK” was officially released on Tuesday. The former Navy SEAL, pro wrestler, actor and governor will be on Howard Stern’s satellite radio show this morning to promote the book.

Here’s the official synopsis:

“Read all the evidence from the biggest conspiracy in American history!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past fifty years, you’re aware of the many hypotheses that the assassination of President John F. Kennedy was not done by one man. Whether you’ve read one or a dozen of the books on this topic, there’s no way to fully grasp the depth of this conspiracy.

For the first time ever, New York Times bestselling authors Jesse Ventura and Dick Russell have teamed up with some of the most respected and influential assassination researchers to put together the ultimate compendium that covers every angle—from the plot to the murder—of JFK. They Killed Our President will not only discuss the most famous of theories, but will also bring to light new and recently discovered information, which together shows that the United States government not only was behind this egregious plot, but took every step to make sure that the truth would not come out.

With 2013 marking the fiftieth anniversary of JFK’s assassination, this is the perfect time for They Killed Our President to be available to readers. The research and information in this book are unprecedented, and there’s nobody better to bring this to everyone’s attention than the former governor of Minnesota and US Navy SEAL, Jesse Ventura.”

Ryback Shares A Scott Hall Story, Mark Jindrak Talks About Original Plans For Evolution

11

-Former WWE Superstar Mark Jindrak recently posted a tweet on his official Twitter account in response to the news that Triple H revealed in the Extras section of his new “Triple H: Thy Kingdom Come” documentary, where he talked about Jindrak being the originally intended fourth member of the old Evolution faction in WWE, instead of Batista, who ended up filling the role. Jindrak wrote:

“I wasn’t ready for Evolution at that time in my career. I was immature and Batista fit better. It was mine to lose and I dropped the ball…But since then I’ve matured and understood why I missed that chance and it’s helped me in my career which ended up in CMLL in Mexico.”

-WWE Superstar Ryback recently shared a story with the media in India while he was there doing promotional work for the new WWE 2K14 video game, about his favorite pro wrestlers growing up, and how one of them now texts him to tell him what a good job he’s doing. Ryback said:

“Growing up, I loved Razor Ramon, ‘The Bad Guy,’ I thought he was the coolest thing walking on the planet. But him, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart and The British Bulldog were all interchangeable there for awhile. I liked Diesel, the big seven footer… It’s also cool because Razor Ramon – Scott Hall’s his real name – he texts me now or will call me and just says, ‘great job, keep doing what you’re doing.’ So for me, growing up he was my favorite, that’s pretty cool to me now that this guy that I grew up idolizing texts me now tells me, ‘good job.'”

(Spoilers) WWE SmackDown Taping Results For This Week

10

The following are results for this week’s WWE SmackDown, which was taped on Tuesday night, October 1st, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana:

-Big Show comes out to open this week’s WWE SmackDown show. He talks about how he’s now fed up and how he’s coming extremely close to losing his cool. Big Show says everything that’s happening lately is Triple H’s fault. This brings out the WWE COO himself, who talks some more about the financial troubles that the Big Show is currently facing. HHH changes the originally designated main event of Big Show vs. The Shield in a three-on-one handicap match to Big Show vs. Randy Orton and The Shield in a four-on-one handicap match.

-Rob Van Dam def. Fandango via Disqualification. This was apparently a good match while it lasted, with the DQ coming when Summer Rae got involved. After the match was over, RVD hit the Van Terminator with a trash-can on Fandango.

-Ryback def. R-Truth. After the match was over, Curtis Axel continued the beatdown on Truth, likely setting up the rumored Intercontinental Championship match between the two at Sunday’s WWE Battleground pay-per-view.

-In a backstage segment, Rob Van Dam sends the beat up trash can he used for the Van Terminator on Fandango earlier to Alberto Del Rio as a gift. This was done to illustrate the “Battleground Hardcore Rules” he and Del Rio will be competing under at Sunday’s PPV.

-Alberto Del Rio def. Dolph Ziggler. This was said to be the best match of the evening. These two actually got some time as well in this one. In the end, Del Rio picked up the win by way of submission after applying his Cross Armbreaker finisher on Ziggler.

-Los Matadores def. Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal. Another big entrance for the new Los Matadores before the match, including their sidekick El Torito, who ended up splashing onto 3MB on the floor after the match was over.

-Paul Heyman comes out to the ring to cut a promo. Heyman basically talks about how his new “Paul Heyman Guy” Ryback will destroy his nemesis CM Punk during their match at the WWE Battleground pay-per-view on Sunday.

-Brie Bella def. Aksana. Brie got the win here, and the Bella Twins were celebrating after the victory until they were cut off by AJ Lee, who came out with Tamina Snuka. AJ cuts a promo on Brie and talks about their WWE Divas Championship match at the pay-per-view this Sunday in Buffalo.

-Kofi Kingston def. Big E. Langston. Kingston got the win here with a roll-up after a pretty decent match. Following the match, Bray Wyatt came out and cut another promo on Kingston. He ends by talking about “following the buzzards” at Battleground. That was likely done to set up the rumored Wyatt vs. Kingston match at Battleground.

-Big Show def. Randy Orton and The Shield via Disqualification. After getting beat up for much of the four-on-one handicap match, Big Show finally starts mounting a comeback. However, he is stopped short when he is attacked by Orton with a steel-chair, which prompted the referee to call for the bell, giving Show the win by the aforementioned DQ. The beatdown on Big Show from all four men continued until Daniel Bryan and The Uso’s came out to make the save. The show ended with all of the fans in Baton Rouge doing a loud, passionate “Yes!” chant along with Bryan and company.

(Spoilers) WWE Main Event Taping Results For This Week

1

The following are results for this week’s WWE Main Event, which was taped on Tuesday night, October 1st, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana:

-Damien Sandow def. Santino Marella. This was said to be mostly a comedy match. Nothing of real note in this one. In the end, Sandow was too much for the master of the Cobra.

-The Wyatt Family def. The Prime Time Players. The Wyatt Family entrance was said to be over with the fans in Baton Rouge. They got the victory here over Darren Young and Titus O’Neil, who continue to come up short since compiling a decent set of televised victories a few weeks ago.

-Curtis Axel def. Zack Ryder. The WWE Intercontinental Champion picked up the “W” in this one by way of his neckbreaker face-plant finishing move.

-The Real Americans def. Tons Of Funk. Surprisingly enough, the Real Americans were pretty over here in Louisiana. There was a decent amount of “We The People” chants during the match, which Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger won. At one point, Cesaro even got Brodus Clay in the big swing and managed to rotate a full ten times.

Jim Ross Q&A: Interest In TNA & MMA, Angle vs. Lesnar In A Shoot, Wyatt/Jake Roberts

14

The following are highlights of a new Q&A update from the official website of WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross:

On if TNA offered him a job with full control, would he take it?: “No…not at this time. Zero interest. I’m moving onto other things of interest.”

On Bray Wyatt’s promo skills reminding him of Jake “The Snake” Roberts: “Wyatt grew up in the business so I’d assume he studied many. He’s a student of the game.”

On who would win an amateur wrestling match in their prime: Kurt Angle or Brock Lesnar?: “Hard to say, depends on everyone’s health. Both at their best, it’s hard to pick against a Gold Medalist.”

On the possibilities of becoming a mixed-martial-arts announcer: “Time will tell. I’m interested but not sure if any MMA companies are. I’m sure it would be fun if it were to occur. I’m a big, MMA fan especially UFC.”

Final Rating For This Week’s “Go-Home” Edition Of WWE RAW

40

WWE RAW on Monday, September 30th scored a final cable rating of 2.68, for the WWE Battleground “go-home” edition of the show. The 2.68 final draw marks a pretty significant decrease from last week’s 2.81 cable rating.

While you could point to the strong numbers from Monday Night Football, as well as the baseball playoffs, there is no real positive spin that can be put on the rating for this week’s show, which was the final efforts from RAW to convince fans to purchase Sunday’s less-than-stellar Battleground show.

RAW on Monday averaged 3.58 million viewers, doing hours of 3.61 million, 3.53 million and 3.62 million.

Chris Jericho To Sing On Michael Jackson Tribute Album, Forbes Looks At Bray Wyatt

Forbes.com has an interesting article up looking at WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt. Author Cedric Mohammad writes:

“Wyatt is the possible culmination of what I call the Dissatisfaction era which finds CM Punk (‘The Voice of The Voiceless’) and Daniel Bryan (the Underdog) as co-leaders.”

“But Wyatt can go further because the juxtaposition is not just to that of the popular ‘good guy’ character (John Cena) or abusive corporate power (the McMahon Family) but rather to an entire epoch leaving so many of us behind. He’s competing with society and culture not the preferences of a Big Business.”

“What makes Wyatt an enigma is that the dissatisfaction which his character, music and message tap into can come from a variety of sources: economic recession, technological advance or cultural decay. Even the political malaise of a government shutdown gives Bray Wyatt fertile recruiting ground.”
