Tonight’s live episode of Impact Wrestling will feature a “Destination X” theme – spotlighting the high-flying stars of TNA’s X-Division. The show takes place from the Broadbent Arena in Louisville, KY.

Bruce Prichard & D’Lo Brown Gone From TNA, More Internal Turmoil

Following up on our reports that TNA is making big changes behind the scenes – we can confirm that both Bruce Prichard and D’Lo Brown are gone from the company

Bruce Prichard has been the Senior Vice President of Talent Relations and Programming since October 2011. D’Lo has been working behind the scenes as an agent since 2009, as one of the top guys with TNA’s developmental and Gut Check programs.

They appeared on Impact Wrestling together as two of the judges in the Gut Check segments, until D’Lo joined forces with the Aces & Eights.

The news comes after several recent high-profile TNA talent departures (including Matt Morgan, Doc, Tara and others) and reports that TNA has been way behind on paying a lot of its people.

Wrestlers Not Saving Money & Planning For Their Futures:

It’s sad to see so many pro athletes end up broke after earning so much money during their younger, playing years. It happens in all walks of life but it seems especially prevalent in sports and entertainment. If someone in WWE Developmental says me that they don’t earn enough money to save any of it, then I often times wonder how prepared for adulthood and a career in sports entertainment that they really are. If for no other reason than to save to pay one’s quarterly taxes, saving money isn’t an option but it’s a requirement from my perspective. #WhatWouldYourDadSay?

– Former WWE Superstar MVP recently told the UK Sun that he wants to wrestle in the United States again, but time is running out:

“If I did return to wrestling in the States — which I most likely will — the clock is running down. I’m 40 in October. I started training when I was 27 and signed with WWE when I was 31. But I don’t have the wear and tear that most guys my age have, I got some time left.”

Sheamus was recently interviewed by South Africa’s IOL News. Here are some highlights of what he said about:

His Unique Look: “I was a brand-new kid who no one knew. In the past I had cut my red hair, but I decided to do an image change and let it grow so people would remember me. Also, they saw the pale white skin which became part of my look. My success in a matter of months even had some wrestlers jealous, but I was happy to announce that I was here to stay.”

Defeating John Cena To Win The WWE Championship (2009):  “The last thing the fans wanted is you coming from another country and beating their poster boy. They didn’t like me one bit and it didn’t bother me at all. I didn’t move to America to make friends, I came here to work.”

Wrestlers Avoiding Injuries: “The reason why we always say ‘kids should not try this at home or school’ is because we know what we are doing. Although it may not look like it in most cases, we actually do get injured, but in most cases it is not as bad as it would be for an untrained person. This is why we encourage the fans to rather come to see us do it or play the video game and avoid physical contact.”

Ric Flair Comments On Judge Issuing A Warrant For His Arrest

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has issued his first public comments since a judge issued a warrant for his arrest due to his failure to pay spousal support to his estranged wife,  Jackqueline Beems.

Flair told the Charlotte Observer:

“The reason I didn’t pay my ex-wife the 32 grand is because my son died and I was in the hospital for a month,” Flair said. “I was in the hospital for a month with a blood clot. I didn’t go to work for three months.”

Flair’s ex-wife, Jackqueline Beems, turned herself into police earlier this week and was charged with harrassing Flair’s new girlfriend, which is a misdemeanor. [Mugshot] Beems’ lawyer  calls the allegations “unfounded and outlandish,” but Ric Flair says:

“My girlfriend Wendy Kidder is the mother of four and she has 50 texts and five phone (voice-)mails from my ex-wife,” he said. “They didn’t give Wendy a warrant for arrest without looking at all of that stuff.”

Here is some additional information regarding several recent TNA releases:

– Former TNA Knockout Tara was released as a cost cutting measure. She was by far the highest paid female wrestler on the roster and the feeling was that TNA would be better off cutting that expense.

– Former Aces & Eights member DOC’s contract negotiations had been underway for a while, but a deal was never finalized. Bruce Prichard, TNA’s head of Creative and Talent Relations, is rumored to be departing as a result of the way DOC’s contract situation was handled.

– As for Rob Van Dam’s release earlier this year, a source in the company says TNA stopped responding to Van Dam’s phone calls and were not using him enough.

More TNA releases, as well as some restructuring of TNA management, are expected in the coming weeks.

Backstage News On The SummerSlam Main Event, Orton’s MITB Win

– The decision for Randy Orton to win a Money in the Bank briefcase on Sunday was made 2-3 weeks ago. The creative team liked that not many people expected him to win the match and it brings Orton back up to the top of the main event scene.

– Last week, we reported that WWE would be running a storyline where John Cena would reach out to the WWE Universe for input on who his SummerSlam opponent would be. Daniel Bryan has been slated to wrestle Cena at the show for weeks, but original plans called for the match to be made closer to the premiere of the Total Divas reality show.

Since news of the storyline leaked online, WWE decided to jump into it on Monday’s RAW, which gives more time to build the main event. Cena and Bryan’s real-life girlfriends, the Bella Twins, are expected to be part of the feud and footage will air on Total Divas this summer.

Update On Future WrestleMania Locations, RVD Teams With Bryan & Orton

– WWE is currently in the process of finalizing their plans of which cities will host WrestleMania in 2015 and 2016. WWE will decide on the locations next month, according to PWInsider.

Cities under consideration for those 2 shows include Dallas, Chicago, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area. The city of Orlando has also been pushing hard to host one of those two shows.

As we see each year, the location for WrestleMania 2015 is not expected to be made until early next year.

Randy Orton Downplays WWE Injury Reports, Takes More Shots At The Internet

As noted previously, WWE Superstar Randy Orton was injured at the SmackDown television tapings on Tuesday night, according to an article on WWE.com.

Orton took to Twitter recently to address the article. Orton wrote:

A fan later pointed out to Orton that the injury story wasn’t a regular internet rumor, but an actual official WWE.com article. Orton replied to the fan by saying:

UPDATE: WWE.com has released a statement in response to Orton refuting their initial report:

 “Though his official medical status is still undetermined, being the competitor that he is, Orton tweeted the WWE Universe to let them know that he’s fine.”

DOC Gone From TNA, Top TNA Executive On His Way Out, Big Restructuring With Management

According to reports, TNA Sr. Vice President of Programming and Talent Relations, Bruce Prichard, is likely on his way out of the company.

The restructuring within TNA lately has led to a number of talent being released from their contracts or TNA simply allows contracts to expire without renewing them.

Aces & Eights member DOC, formerly Luke Gallows in WWE, is the latest contract to lapse. He tweeted on Monday:

Prichard was reportedly asked to restructure his deal, and reportedly declined. As a result, it is expected that Prichard’s days with the company are numbered.

Additionally, TNA agents have been asked to restructure their deals to a per-night agreement.

Apparently D’Lo Brown agreed to the new terms, only to be fired by the company shortly after.

WWE Superstar Chris Jericho took to Twitter following the SmackDown tapings on Tuesday to say goodbye to WWE fans, as the taping was his final show of his current WWE run. Jericho wrote:

–TMZ has a report listing every item of food current WWE Superstar Brock Lesnar had for dinner at a recennt trip to Fresco restaurant in Montclair, New Jersey. The article notes that Lesnar, along with wife (former WWE Diva Rena “Sable” Mero) put away the following during his meal: Ahi tuna with asparagus (shared), Margherita pizza (shared), Chicken Parm with triple-extra chicken, full bowl of parpadelle bolognese and a crushed slice of cheesecake. The article claims Lesnar spent over $500 on the meal and left a “very generous” tip.

1. Sin Cara beat Ted DiBiase Jr. Sin Cara won with a senton bomb in about five minutes.

WWE Main Event

1. Christian beat Fandango. Christian went over with a rollup in about eight minutes.

2. Layla and Natalya pinned Alicia Fox and Aksana. The babyface duo won in about five minutes.

3. Justin Gabriel vs. Heath Slater (w/Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal) ended in a no-contest when The Wyatt Family attacked. Great reaction. The Wyatts laid out all four guys and stacked the bodies in front of Bray and he cut a promo. The usual great stuff from the act. The crowd was receptive and gave him a big applause when the lights came back on after the end of the segment.

Ric Flair Issued Arrest Warrant For Failure To Pay Spousal Support To Ex-Wife

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) – A judge has issued an arrest order for former professional wrestling champion Ric Flair for not paying his estranged wife more than $32,000 in spousal support.

The Charlotte Observer reports that Flair, whose real name is Richard Morgan Fliehr, was ordered to pay $4,000 a month to Jacqueline Beems, who filed for a legal separation last summer. Court documents say Flair didn’t pay $32,352.51 following two court orders.

Documents say the arrest order was issued on July 3, but Flair can avoid jail if he pays what he owes.

Beems was charged Tuesday with making a harassing phone call. She’s accused of making a series of calls to Flair’s girlfriend.

Beems was released on a $500 unsecured bond, and her attorney calls the charges “unfounded and outlandish.”

Former WWE Superstar Luke Gallows, who has recently performed under the gimmick name “DOC” in TNA Impact Wrestling, has been removed from the official TNA roster page.

Gallows confirmed his TNA release today on his official Twitter account. Gallows wrote:

WWE Gaining Traction In Filtering NFL Stars Into Pro Wrestling

The long-term goal of WWE to create a filter of NFL stars to WWE is starting to gain traction with current NFL players.

NESN.com recently published an article regarding Houston Texas offensive lineman Brennan Williams reaching out to WWE’s Jim Ross, as welll as Houston-based pro wrestler Booker T, about a potential career in wrestling after his football career.

“I’ve got connections to Jim Ross and Booker T now. Those are opportunities that a lot of guys otherwise wouldn’t have,” said Williams. “Some of the more talented guys [in WWE] are little guys, but the guys they’re looking for are big strong, muscular-looking guys. There’s obviously a lot of them in football.”

While Williams isn’t looking to make such a jump until he has a “lengthy and healthy” NFL career, he noted that when his football career is over, he is “100 percent up for” trying out for WWE.

Williams noted that he would use his real name if he were to switch over to pro wrestling, and that his finisher would be the Muscle Buster.

RVD vs. Chris Jericho from RAW: “Loved the Jericho-RVD match. Generally a cold match featuring two, fan favorites challenges the crowd to emotionally invest as the rule of thumb is that the fans don’t want either man to lose. These two men put on such a great performance that it embraced all that were in Brooklyn live and that emotion translated well on TV. In 48 hours, RVD is already more relevant than he was the entire time that he was away from WWE.”

1f2FH7.Em.138-Ric Flair’s ex-wife, Jacqueline Beems, turned herself into police at the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office today. Beems was answering an arrest warrant issued which claimed she harassed Flair’s current girlfriend, Wendy Barlow Kidder (aka “Fifi The Maid”) in October of 2012.

Beems was wanted on a misdemeanor charge for allegedly making harassing telephone calls to Kidder. At the time, Flair and Beems were married.

– Earlier today, Jim Ross commented on rumors that Vince McMahon does not see Daniel Bryan as a main eventer. Via the Q&A section of JRsBarBQ.com:

“If McMahon did not like Daniel Bryan then DB would not be in the role that he currently is. The internet isn’t always correct.”

Clearly, Daniel Bryan scheduled to face John Cena in the main event of SummerSlam is a sign that Vince does, in fact, see Bryan as a main event star.

– Monday’s post-Money In The Bank edition of WWE RAW had a Trendrr.tv social media score of 355,138 – up a sharp 24.5% from the previous week. This was the most socially-active RAW since the night after WrestleMania 29.

RAW ranked #3 on cable cable for the night, behind the MLB Homerun Derby on ESPN and Teen Wolf on MTV.

-WWE Superstar Triple H recently spoke to the Orlando Business Journal about a potential physical WWE Hall Of Fame building. Hunter said, “I don’t want a Hall of Fame or some other attraction to just be something where people see some guy’s shorts. We are the WWE and we are big, so whatever we do needs to be the same. If I were to say what it could be, think of it as something that has shows or live interactive things for fans. For example, something like a 4-D experience where the fan would come face-to-face with a 3-D Andre the Giant – something along that scale.”
