– A new 2-hour WWE pay-per-view special, “WWE Presents: ECW’s Biggest Matches,” will premiere on January 7th.

– WWE has updated its Apple iPad app with new features, including the ability to purchase and watch WWE pay-per-view events on mobile devices via the app.

– After it was revealed that the results of last week’s RAWActive poll were rigged, Hashtagbattle.com shows that this week’s voting was legitimate. When the Fatal 4 Way match between Antonio Cesaro, Wade Barrett, R-Truth and Kofi Kingston was announced for Monday’s RAW, fans were asked to decide which of their title belts would be on the line. According to the HashtagBattle, “#WWEUS” had 582 votes and “#WWEIC” had 223 votes.

Cesaro and Kingston will wrestle again tonight (in a non-title match) at tonight’s WWE Main Event tapings, airing this Wednesday night on Ion.

– WWE will be holding television in North Charleston, South Carolina tonight at the North Charleston Coliseum. Advertised for this week’s episode of WWE Main Event is a Champion vs. Champion match, as United States Champion Antonio Cesaro faces Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston in a non-title match.

On SmackDown, the television main event will see Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett. WWE is advertising Big Show vs. Sheamus and Randy Orton vs. Alberto Del Rio as the dark match main events, but the Orton vs. Del Rio match might not take place since Orton is already wrestling in the main event of SmackDown.

– WWE wrestlers David Otunga and Natalya will attend a “Be A Star” rally today in North Charleston, South Carolina at the Mary Ford Elementary school. The event begins at 1pm local time.

– WWE Diva Kaitlyn is headed to Hanahan High school today in South Carolina to take part in an event with the South Carolina National Guard. She posted this video on Tout:

WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels recently spoke with Phil Strum of The Poughkeepsie Journal and talked about life after WWE and getting a second chapter of his career after being forced into early retirement due to injury. Here’s what Michaels said about:

Life After WWE: “I’m enjoying it immensely. It works for me. I’m a lazy person by nature, so retirement is right up my alley. I would have done it sooner, obviously, but apparently you have to work before you retire, so it would have been in my best interest to get that out of the way. I’m enjoying it very much.”

The Second Chapter Of His Legendary Career: “It was a gift. The first — I never said I retired the first time. I guess, in my mind, retirement is when you leave on your own terms. The first one, being told I was never going to wrestle again as the result of a back injury, obviously that’s not the way you envision your career ending. Having dealt with that and gone through it and having the opportunity for a second chance, and that the second chance, as you say, being almost a decade, was at first, honestly as much of a shock to me as it was to everybody else.”

“The genuine intention was to come back for one match and sort of see how everything did. To honestly feel like, holy cow, I feel like I can do what I used to do. I went with that until I felt that the peace within me that I could walk away again and it would be on my terms, my timing and all those things you wish and you envision being like. I got the opportunity to do that.”

Kelly Kelly Talks About Life After WWE, Still Battling Injuries, If She’d Return

Barbie Blank, formerly known as WWE Diva Kelly Kelly, recently spoke to Phil Strum of the Phil Strum of the Poughkeepsie Journal about what it’s like now that her seven year run with WWE is over. “It’s going good,” she said. “I’m just relaxing at home. It’s nice to take a break and just be able to live a normal life and being able to do whatever I want to do.”

Blank says she is enjoying “being able to live a normal life” but is still healing from injuries sustained during her career. Now, she’s focusing on non-wrestling projects.

“Yeah, I’m just kind of doing my own stuff under my real name. My calendar and my posters. Just getting stuff out that I’ve wanted to do for a long time. Getting into modeling. There’s a lot of things coming, so we’ll see what happens,” Blank said.

As for whether we’ll ever see her back in the world of pro wrestling, she replied, “You never know. Right now, I’m kind of healing my neck that was kind of a problem for a while. Just resting up and you never know.”

Ric Flair’s Wife Files For Legal Separation, Alleges He Cheated With Numerous Women & Owes Her Big Money

Ric Flair’s fourth wife, Jacqueline, has officially filed for a legal separation from the wrestling legend in Mecklenberg County, North Carolina.

She has accused him of “acts of illicit sexual behavior” and cheated on her regularly throughout their marriage. The legal documents obtained by TMZ.com explain, “Husband has had numerous intimate relationships with other women during the parties’ marriage, to the embarrassment and humiliation of wife.”

She maintains that she was “faithful and dutiful wife” ever since they got married back in 2009.

Not only was Ric Flair allegedly cheating on her with numerous other women, but she claims he’s also screwing her out of tens of thousands of dollars in spousal support. They apparently reached an agreement to separate back in October, with Flair agreeing to pay her $15,000 to cover her legal fees, $4,000 per month in spousal support and $14k in back payments from the time they actually split in July.

She claims Flair owes her over $35,000 in back payments and has not paid her a dime so far. She says Flair should have no problem paying her in full, because he makes more than a $1 million a year.

So far, no comments from Flair’s camp.

– After Monday’s WWE RAW went off the air, WWE Champion CM Punk sold the effects of his beatdown for about 10 minutes before getting helped to the back. The advertised dark match with Ryback never took place.

– WWE.com caught up with John Cena backstage at Monday’s RAW after it was announced that he’ll get a chance to win Dolph Ziggler’s Money in the Bank briefcase at the upcoming Tables, Ladders and Chairs pay-per-view. After Dolph Ziggler attacked John Cena a few weeks ago in a bathroom on RAW, Cena has gotten the upper hand on Ziggler over the past couple weeks. Cena was asked where the feud is heading.

John Cena thanked Vickie Guerrero for making the match and giving him a golden opportunity to win the TLC briefcase again. Cena said not a day goes by that he doesn’t think about the fact that he’s the first person to fail to win a big WWE Championship back when he won Money in the Bank. Cena says he can’t wait to take Ziggler’s briefcase and challenge Big Show for the World Heavyweight championship.

WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin was recently interviewed by Inside The Ropes and spoke about his WWE ’13 sit-down interview with CM Punk (hosted by Jim Ross) and why he feels wrestling legend Bruno Sammartino has been so critical of the WWE product over the years. “It was a lot of fun going back and being a part of WWE 13 the video game, hang out with my good buddy Jim Ross and CM Punk, a young guy in the business I really like, I really like what he’s bringing to the table and what he’s doing. To go back and play The Rattlesnake character was a lot of fun. You know we pushed the envelope a little bit there but we played it straight down the middle, but I would’ve loved to ramp it up and go full bore Stone Cold on him, but it just wasn’t that time. Who knows if there will be a time down the road, but I enjoyed being that guy. It’s a dynamic part of my personality. I enjoy the adrenaline.”

Bruno Sammartino Being Closed Minded:

“Bruno is a legend in the business and his opinion is his opinion. I think he’s very closed minded about the Attitude Era. One thing I think he’s missing out on is the fact that it’s the entertainment business. Speaking from a Stone Cold standpoint, I went out there and I entertained and I pushed the envelope but when it came time to ring that bell in that 20 by 20 ring, I wrestled my ass off. I brawled and I fought and I gave the fans every bit of their moneys worth. Bruno’s opinion is what it is. When you look back at where the business was, it was a little slow. I can appreciate that, but you fast forward all these years and it’s a little faster and either you like it or you don’t.”

– It was announced on RAW that the main event for Friday’s SmackDown broadcast will be Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett. The match will be taped tonight from North Charleston, South Carolina.

– John Cena vs. Dolph Ziggler in a ladder match has been officially added to WWE’s upcoming Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view. Dolph Ziggler’s Money in the Bank briefcase will be on the line during the match.

The match was made by Vince McMahon, who told Vickie it was punishment for everything she put John Cena and AJ Lee through with her affair allegations.

With the kickoff of WrestleMania season just around the corner, a scenario that could play out would be for Dolph Ziggler to put his Money in the Bank briefcase on the line in a match against John Cena. Cena winning the briefcase pave the way for him wrestling The Rock at WrestleMania for the WWE title if Rock is champion after the Royal Rumble.

Ziggler’s contract is technically for the SmackDown brand’s World Heavyweight title, but WWE can get away with Cena wanting his rematch against The Rock.

If Punk’s title reign ends at the Royal Rumble, he is the likely candidate to attempt breaking the Undertaker’s streak on April 7th, 2013.

Their message states, “WWE.com has learned Mr. McMahon has been spotted in Greensboro, N.C., host of tonight’s Raw. What is the Chairman of the Board doing in Greensboro? – Mark Briscoe of Ring of Honor attempted to auction off his false teeth on eBay last week but the listing was later removed by the website since auctioning human remains and body parts is prohibited. Here is a video ROH put out promoting the auction.

John Cena will host Vortexx on The CW this Saturday morning from 8:30-10:30am, the weekly block of children’s programming that includes WWE Saturday Morning Slam. A press release sent out by WWE states:

LOS ANGELES (Dec. 3, 2012) – Vortexx on The CW, an affiliate of Saban Brands, today announced WWE Superstar John Cena will host the kids television block this Saturday, December 8th from 8:30 a.m.—10:30 a.m. In addition to the WWE Superstar hosting the block, dubbed Cena Saturday, viewers can watch him face-off in the ring against WWE Superstar Heath Slater at 10 a.m. on a special WWE Saturday Morning Slam.

Cena Saturday will offer viewers the unique opportunity to get to know the man behind the legend, as this Saturday’s programming will also include special profiles on him.

“We have many young WWE fans watching Vortexx every Saturday morning, so we’re thrilled to bring them Cena Saturday,” said Elie Dekel, President of Saban Brands. “The spotlighted features on John Cena are a very exciting addition to the block this week.”

Former WWE Wrestler Says Tyler Reks Spoke The “Truth” About John Cena In Twitter Rant

Sunday on Twitter, Gabe Tuft, who appeared as Tyler Reks in WWE, dished some dirt on his former employer including a story regarding his one-time finishing maneuver, the Burning Hammer, and how John Cena took issue with him over it.

“Anyone want to know what top guy forced me to stop using the burning hammer – even after it appeared on SD/RAW and PPV’s?,” Tuft wrote. “1st house show loop, Cena asks pulls me aside, degrades me like I’m 10 years & tells me if I use it again I’d me fired. He yelled at me & said, ‘Who gave u permission to use that’? Apparently he hadn’t been watching the product 4 the last 8 months… Or perhaps how he stole our idea to get fired, use social media to get over, & run in from the crowd (Given to Miz & Truth)… I still have the promo DVD our idea was burned onto when Cena supposedly helped us with the idea – then lied & said it wasn’t stolen later.”

When asked by a Twitter user on why he feels Cena did not want him using Burning Hammer, the former WWE Superstar said “it looks better than the [Attitude Adjustment]” and that Cena is “insecure.”

Former WWE wrestler Kenn Doane (a/k/a Kenny Dykstra), who has called the Cenation leader’s personal character into question numerous times in recent months over the micro-blogging outlet, concurred with Tuft’s remarks Monday.

“Uh oh! @GabeTuft spoke truth, now cenation gonna cry lol,” wrote Doane.

He continued, “@GabeTuft was a threat [to Cena], he looks impressive and has talent.”

John Cena Talks About The Second Half Of His Career In New Video Interview, Reveals A Label He “Hates”

In part two of John Cena reflecting on his decade of dominance in WWE, the twelve-time world champion reveals that he dislikes being formally recognized as the sport-entertainment promotion’s premiere Superstar.

“I just do the best I can do. I hate those words like “face of the company” or “flagbearer.” I hate that. I’m just the best that I can be,” said Cena. “And, I take great pride in that people want to come after me. I’m always ready for a fight. I’m me, I’m the best me I can be, and we’ve put together a pretty good ten years and I’m hoping for ten more.”

Cena also discusses bringing back his “Doctors of Thuganomics” persona during his rivalry with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

“That whole year-long with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, there were little moments of thuggery in there,” Cena said. “I thought it was really cool. It gave a different approach to me validating my position right next to Dwayne Johnson. He seems to claim that he’s the best ever (to) hold the microphone. I seem to dispute that title.”

– Tony Mamaluke, who appeared for WWE, World Championship Wrestling, Extreme Championship Wrestling, TNA Wrestling and Ring of Honor, officially announced his retirement from professional wrestling at Saturday’s East Coast Wrestling Association event in Newark, Delaware on Saturday, 15 years to the date of his first grappling affair.

The 35-year-old headlined the show against Papadon and announced his retirement following the match. He then left his boots in the ring and exited.

Mamaluke, whose real name is Charles John Spencer, reflected on his career on Facebook: “Final thought, I would like to say that it was all so wonderful, that I have no regrets , that I made a lot of money and been famous. But not everybody can be. I was a good jobber in an era where there wasn’t any. I was a good hand when the era was all about me and not the show. Tonight I was Mamaluke for the last time and I am not bitter, broken or emotionally unstable. I survived. In the end I have to ask myself if the last 15 years were worth it. I will answer that question after time and reflection. 15 years to the day, my career began in a flea market with 3 people in the crowd. The show was cancelled that night for obvious reasons. Tonight I had one of my best matches in years. I finally got a chance to shine 15 years later. Thank you to my ECW family. I love you all. Guido, my brother, my friend I love you and will never forget all you have done for me. Frankie a better friend doesn’t exist. Dean Malenko you will always be my idol. To the fans, I don’t know if you ever quit got me but, if you did then thank you. Life is good, time to move on to a new chapter.”

– The former Kelly Kelly, Barbie Blank, will appear on upcoming episodes of MTV2’s Guy Code, “the ultimate guy’s guide to the laws of manhood.”

– The future of John Laurinaitis in WWE has been a hot topic among employees since he had yet to resume his behind-the-scenes duties after undergoing rotator cuff surgery in September not to mention that he no longer held an office at WWE’s corporate facility in Stamford, Connecticut. The former Senior Vice President of Talent Operations arrived in Greensboro, North Carolina, last night for tonight’s Raw taping, surprising a number of his co-workers who believed he would not resurface.

– GQ has named Hulk Hogan as among the twenty-five “Least Influential People of 2012—”a collection of people so uninspiring that we should round them all up and stick them on an iceberg.”

The publication says of the legendary wrestler, “When I was a kid, I wanted to be just like Hulk Hogan. Funny how getting caught banging his best friend’s wife on tape and then finding out that his best friend was allegedly the one taping it has now diminished my admiration. Kudos to Hulk for having a big ol’ dick, though. That thing is thicker than a turnbuckle.”

Here are some news items from from Sunday’s WWE live events:

– At the WWE RAW live event from Florence, South Carolina, Ryback teamed up with Kane and Daniel Bryan against the team of WWE Champion CM Punk Hunico and Camacho. The match ended in a no-contest when The Shield hit the ring and attacked Ryback. He eventually fought back as Team Hell chased them to the back.

– At the WWE SmackDown live event from Columbia, South Carolina, WWE newcomer Fandango was in action against Ted DiBiase Jr. Fandango, formerly known as Johnny Curtis, defeated DiBiase and our live correspondent said his new dancing gimmick was entertaining.
