Sunny Doesn’t Know AJ, Cena Wins 100th Match, Kurt Angle Upset

– John Cena’s won his 100th match on Saturday against The Big Show at a WWE SuperShow in Tucson, Arizona. The 10 year WWE Superstar competed in 108 matches already this year, losing only four matches with the other four ending in a no contest.

– After fans on the internet left criticizing remarks regarding WWE Hall of Famer Sunny’s recent “Thong Incident”  Tammy “Sunny” Sytch mentioned AJ in a Facebook post: “AJ (whoever that is) sucked face with 2 men a few days ago on worldwide TV. totally trumpted what I did.. and I STILL GET CRITICIZED.”

“I didnt take a shot at AJ…I dont watch wrestling…any wrestling…so I honestly didnt know who she was. Once in a blue moon I’ll flip passed it on TV and I happened to see that angle…and didnt know who she was. thats all. period. no harm in not knowing. I dont know who half the guys on that roster are.”

She then went on to complement AJ: “If they are willing to finally give a chick a spot like that, with all the air time (like they did with me) more power to her. From what I saw, which was very little, she has her character down pat… and I love her facials. dont know where she came from, but she was either taught right, or just has it. I was never taught anything, it would just come naturally. If that is her case, fantabulous!”

WWE Mocks WCW & Smart Fans On Latest “Are You Serious?”

5

This week’s episode of “Are You Serious?” is a “WCW continues to ruin everything” edition as many of the defunct promotion’s characters and concepts are ridiculed. The episode also takes aim at “smart” wrestling fans.

After Road Dogg and Josh Mathews proclaim WCW to have ruined battle royals with the cumbersome three-ring, sixty-man battle royal at WCW World War 3, the hosts segue to the latest installment of “WCW ruins everything.” Mathews says, “In addition to battle royals, WCW also ruined Halloween (Halloween Havoc), spiders (Arachniman), the beach (Sting and other wrestlers playing volleyball), golf (“Hole-in-One” Barry Darsow), dyslexia (Dave Sullivan). Road Dogg responds, “You know, it’s really hard not to find anything that WCW didn’t ruin.” Puppet H then appears and proclaims, “Man, WCW really did suck, didn’t it?” The trio is then encountered by a basement-dwelling puppet donning a “WORKRATE” sweater. When Road Dogg asks him who he is, the puppet responds, “I’m Mark and I’m really smart.”

Now wearing a “SAVE THE INDYS” sweater, Mark reveals himself as a member of the Internet Wrestling Community. He says “were it not for WCW, the following would also not exist: cruiserweights, the Monday Night Wars, Nitro Girl’s Fyre, WarGames, Ralphus, Dean Malenko, Ric Flair, Reid Flair. All you guys do on this show is bash WCW… WCW ruins everything. Listen, if were not for Van Hammer and KISS Demon…”

Mark is then interrupted by Puppet H, who tells Mark, “Didn’t I read you writing stuff about me on Lords of Hurt?” Mark then gets nervous.

Puppet H continues, “You said that the only reason Puppet H is on “Are You Serious?” is because of backstage politics and his workrate’s mediocre, sound familiar?” Mark explains he was trying to start a flame war. H says “boo” and Mark falls by the wayside as he exclaims “Sweet Terra Ryzing!”

“Yeah, you better run or I’ll go all Marty Garner on you!” Puppet H tells Mark.

Goldust: A WrestleMania Match w/ Cody “Could Have Been Money”

14

During a recent interview on the Pro Wrestling Torch Livecast, former WWE wrestler Dustin “Goldust” Runnels confirmed online reports that there were plans for him to wrestle his younger brother Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 28 – and revealed why the match never took place.

Goldust said he pitched the angle to Triple H and WWE’s writing team and got good feedback on the idea. When it was presented to Vince McMahon for approval, the WWE chairman declined. Goldust was disappointed but understood it’s their choice.

He is adamant that the encounter “could have been money” and would still like the match to occur should he return to WWE in the future.

A live caller said there would be no Attitude Era without Goldust, but Rhodes said he has not been contacted to appear at the 1,000th RAW Celebration. Serena Deeb Responds To Reports Of Her Arrest For BUI

7

Former WWE talent Serena Deeb posted a denial-type statement on her Twitter account Friday night in response to online reports of her arrest last Sunday in Tampa, Florida.

“Ok…can anyone REALLY picture me driving a boat? Get real,” she wrote.

Her arrest report says she was charged with violation 327.35 BUI VESSEL, which according to the official website of the Florida state legislature is (BUI) Boating Under the Influence. The website states that “a person is guilty of the offense of boating under the influence and is subject to punishment as provided in subsection (2) if the person is operating a vessel within this state and: (a) The person is under the influence of alcoholic beverages, any chemical substance set forth in s. 877.111, or any substance controlled under chapter 893, when affected to the extent that the person’s normal faculties are impaired.”

Deeb also addressed individuals she perceives as being judgmental toward her: “AND…next time the highlight of your day involves judging others who you know nothing about, maybe you should look yourself in the mirror.”

Deeb appeared for WWE in 2010 as a member of the CM Punk-led Straight Edge Society, a group which promoted and abided to abstinence and discipline—primarily no smoking, drinking, or drugs. The faction acted as a militant organization, denouncing all people who didn’t practice the straight edge lifestyle, even those who also abstain from substance abuse. Her contract was terminated in August of that year, with WWE sources cited to the Pro Wrestling Torch saying that she was not maintaining the gimmick’s image in public. In December 2011, she acknowledged her troubles with alcohol and proudly proclaimed to having achieved one full year of sobriety.

Deeb tweeted December 5, 2011, “Today I am incredibly proud, as it marks one full year I have gone without drinking alcohol. A year ago I looked myself in the mirror & reevaluated my priorities. I decided to make serious changes. I have always wanted to be a role model & help others around me because I believe that makes the world a better place. I hope this message can inspire & encourage whoever reads it.

“Oftentimes when people approach change, it can be overwhelming. One week is hard, one year is even harder and ‘forever’ almost sounds impossible. From my personal account, I think it’s helpful to take things one day at a time & to constantly remind yourself of the bigger picture.

“We all have changes that we want to implement. A new year approaching is the perfect opportunity. Don’t limit yourself & the potential that you have to live a better life. Change is never easy BUT with a challenge, you build a stronger character. Self confidence & a strong will are very empowering. Take small steps & don’t look back- “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”

Deeb has since taken an indefinite leave from professional wrestling due to the effects of a serious concussion suffered in a match. She now works as a yoga instructor.
