Tomko Caught Injecting Oxycodone In Restaurant Bathroom

30

TMZ.com reports that Travis “Tyson” Tomko, 38, was arrested in Florida on Monday after law enforcement discovered the former WWE star injecting himself with stolen pain medicine while hiding inside the bathroom of a Chili’s restaurant.

He is accused of robbing a CVS Pharmacy of 210 tablets of Oxycodone on Monday. A pharmacist claims Tomko threatened to attack him unless he was supplied with “several bottles” of Oxycodone.

The pharmacist complied and Tomko left with 210 tablets of the powerful painkiller. Tomko, however, claimed he did not threaten the pharmacist

According to the police report obtained by TMZ, Tomko went to a nearby Chili’s restaurant, where he allegedly injected 178 “crushed up and melted down” pills into his system while spending 30 to 40 minutes in a restroom.

After police were informed of his whereabouts, Tomko was arrested and taken into custody on a robbery charge. He allegedly told police that he has a “severe drug problem.” One officer says Tomko had “needle marks and blood running down his arm.” He also flushed “something” down the toilet.

Tomko was taken to a nearby hospital and subequently transported to a nearby jail, where he was booked for robbery. He’s currently behind bars in St. Johns County Jail — bond was set at $7,500.

Lesnar Talks WWE Return & Shoots On Austin-Taker

25

Wrestler turned mixed martial artist Brock Lesnar says in an interview with ESPN.com that he expects to wrestle one more match for WWE.

“I think I will. I think under the right circumstances I will,” he responds to Jon Robinson’s query regarding one final WWE match. “I think if Vince McMahon and I were able to sit down at the same dinner table and break some bread that we could come up with some kind of game plan. At the end of the day, I’m an ultimate fighter. That’s who I am and that’s who I’ll always be. I was an entertainer but at the end of the day, I’m still as real as it gets. I think a lot of things have to fall in the right places for something like that to happen.”

Lesnar is asked who he would like to wrestle of talent he never had a match with; he responds “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.

“Ironically it’s probably the guy that walked out on me. The guy that took his ball and went home. A guy that I was supposed to face and I think that he was just plain downright scared to get in the ring with me because he was one of those guys that was on top and saw a huge threat in Brock Lesnar at the time. That’s “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. I worked with everybody and anybody that was anybody there and if I came back, I think the guy that I would come back to fight is “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.”

Rumors surfaced last year about Lesnar possibly facing The Undertaker at WrestleMania. He comments on how the match would have been like.

“I was a true wrestler. I was a Division I national champion. I came into the business wanting one thing and one thing only, and that was to be the champion, and I wasn’t going to let anybody stand in my way. I think there was one guy that had a problem with that and that was Undertaker. If I were to have gotten in the ring with him I would have ripped his arm off and f—— beat him with it.”

WWE To Hold “Rock Reunion Party”, Former Divas Discuss Raw

14

— WWE’s next three-hour Raw event takes place November 14 at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts and The Rock is advertised to appear. The venue’s official website is billing the event as “The Rock Reunion Party.”

The website’s advertising reads: “What will happen when the seven-time WWE Champion, “the most electrifying man in all of entertainment” The Rock and ten-time WWE Champion John Cena meet in Cena’s hometown?”

Also advertised for the event is a Six-Man Tag Team Match pitting John Cena, Triple H and CM Punk against The Miz, R-Truth and Alberto Del Rio.

Brock Lesnar On Whether He Will Ever Appear For WWE Again

13

Promoting his inclusion in THQ’s WWE ’12 video game, Brock Lesnar participated in an interview with IGN.com to discuss WWE related topics.

Lesnar explains why he agreed to be included in the game.

“It’s one of those things where… it’s part of my history. Without the WWE, I probably wouldn’t be where I am today,” he said via e-mail. “I wouldn’t have the high visibility, I wouldn’t have had the leverage to come into the UFC. I would have had to do it all on my own. I’m no idiot when I say that when I was with the WWE, the visibility from that company and what they did on a global network for ‘Brock Lesnar’ as a whole, put me on another level.”

Being in WWE ’12 begs the obvious question – would Lesnar ever consider returning to WWE programming?

“It would have to be under the right circumstances,” he says. “I don’t know if Mr. McMahon and I could come to the right circumstances. If it was good for me and good for him I think that we could do something. At the end of the day, my life, my character and my profession – I take them very seriously. At the end of the day, if it doesn’t help me or my family out, and it doesn’t make sense for me to do, then I don’t do it. Everything would have to fall in the right place, but would I consider it? Absolutely.”

It’s official – the only man in history to hold both the WWE and UFC Heavyweight titles – Brock Lesnar –  has been confirmed as a playable character in the new WWE ’12 video game.

According to our sources, THQ approached Lesnar in January and asked for permission to use his name and likeness in the game and advertising campaign. White told TMZ.com this week, “I love WWE and I have nothing but love for Vince McMahon — I’m totally okay with Brock being in the game.”

Backstage News On Jim Ross’ Firing From RAW

29

The firing of Jim Ross by John Laurinaitis on last night’s RAW Supershow was not in the final script and most people backstage had no idea that it was going to happen.

It’s also believed Ross didn’t know about the angle either. It was noted that JR’s wife could be seen at ringside, looking excited as he entered the ring for the segment.

Ross told a fan on Twitter today that it was embarrassing for his wife and that they both were “blindsided.”

Regarding last night’s show, it’s said that what ended up airing was almost nowhere near what was originally wrote. Everything on last night’s show was re-written more than once.

Lance Hoyt Says He Could Have Been A Main Eventer For WWE

9

Show: Wrestling Voice Radio
Hosts: Luke Barry and “The One Man Southern Rock Band” Duane Doogan
Find It: www.wrestlingvoiceradio.com and iTunes

This week on the show, the guys spoke with Lance Hoyt, who fans maybe remember from his run with TNA, competing in the WWE as Vance Archer or seen him recently working for New Japan Pro Wrestling as Lance Archer.

Lance spoke about his career in the business from working in the Texas indy’s in the early part of the last decade, breaking into TNA, his run with WWE and his position now working for NJPW and much more. Highlights are below.

The constant start-stop nature of his programs in TNA and WWE and does he feels he was never given adequate time to impress and his thoughts on WWE’s ECW.

Absolutely, I don’t want to sound like one of those guys who say; “Oh it wasn’t my fault, it wasn’t my fault”, I don’t believe it was my fault but I think this business chooses who they want to be superstars or who they don’t want, or they just don’t care.

If the company, if their focus is somewhere else, or on someone else, a lot of guys who have a lot of talent and could be main eventers for the company are put on the back shelf, and I think it’s simply because it’s because their focus is somewhere else, their time is very precious, they only have a limited amount of time, unfortunately, but I think I was one of those guys who, ultimately, in the long could have been a main eventer for them. So yeah, I think I wasn’t given enough time and I think ECW ending, I think hurt me.

Because although people maybe didn’t like the ECW product that existed at the time, it provided a great place for talent to get known by the WWE Universe, to accept them as a talent who can later compete with their top talent, look at Sheamus, Jack Swagger, Evan Bourne, Kofi Kingston, CM Punk. So it was a good place to start and even once I got brought back and myself and Curt (Hawkins) were brought in, that started getting good and going great and we weren’t the focus so we were put on the back burner.

Why he was released from the WWE instead of others on the roster.

I have no idea, the reason that was given to me was a financial one and who knows ever if it’s ever the truth, but that two weeks that talents were released, 13 talents were released, 4 referee’s and a writer so that’s a lot of guys to let go of at one time so I do believe it was financial. I think they were just looking at numbers and said we have to clear this much money and who do we not have any immediate plans for right now and myself and several guys unfortunately fell into that bracket and they let us go, but it was definitely made to seem as if the door was left open, who knows if that’s true or will happen but that’s the way it was made sound to me.

Would he go back to the WWE if the chance came.

If it was the right time and right place for the both of us, sure why not? In this business you never say never and they are the biggest company in the world but I’m having fun wrestling for New Japan Pro Wrestling now so it would definitely have to be the right time and right place for me and my family for me to go.

You can listen to the full interview at www.wrestlingvoiceradio.com and on iTunes. You can catch Lance competing this week for NJPW at their Domination pay-per-view.

3 Big Matches Announced For WWE Vengeance (10/23)

41
WWE Vengeance

WWE announced three big matches for Vengeance on Monday’s RAW Supershow:

* WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio vs. John Cena

*World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry vs. The Big Show

* Triple H & CM Punk vs. Miz & R-Truth.

Based on Cody Rhodes’ beatdown of Randy Orton on RAW following Orton’s match with Mark Henry, it looks like there’s a good chance we’ll see Randy Orton vs. the Intercontinental champion at Vengeance as well.

WWE Vengeance takes place on Sunday, October 23rd.

New RAW GM, Vince, R-Truth & Miz Return, JR Fired

72

– WWE Chairman Vince McMahon made a surprise return on Monday’s RAW. In an ironic twist of fate, Vince McMahon informed Triple H that the Board of Directors had relieved Triple H of his duties as COO. This is the same explanation Vince McMahon was given back in July when Triple H informed him he was forced out of his job.

– Vince McMahon named John Laurinaitis is the new interim RAW General Manager.

– It was announced during RAW that Laurinaitis can now be followed on Twitter  @WWERAWGM.

– Jim Ross was fired by John Laurinaitis on RAW, which took place from JR’s home state of Oklahoma.

– The Miz and R-Truth have been reinstated. CM Punk was wrestling WWE champion Alberto Del Rio during the main event of RAW, when Laurinaitis came out and told them the match was being changed to a tag team match. Punk and Del Rio would be teaming up against the reinstated Miz and R-Truth.

Melina Says People In WWE Are Strangling The Art Of Wrestling

21

Last Monday, the Superstars of Raw voted “no confidence” in WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H’s leadership of WWE’s flagship brand. Former WWE Women’s Champion Melina has weighed in on the matter as a fan asked her on Twitter tonight during Raw if she herself would have walked out.

Melina responds (which she later challenged the “dirt sheets” to publish): “I don’t watch the show but this is my take, I would have walked out on the people who tell lies to the WWE Universe who say they fight for them and that they are trying to make a change but they aren’t trying at all.

“That “1%” who are only out for themselves and don’t care who they step on to get there do not have my respect. I’d walk out on those hypocrites but that has nothing to do with the fans. I would walk out on the people strangling the art of wrestling because The Fans DESERVE to see the talent they love get opportunities! The WWE Universe DESERVES to see The BEST in sports entertainment which is not being provided. I would walk out on those who are keeping the Fans from getting that.

“As I said before, I do not watch so I don’t know what the story lines are or what’s going on. I’m just pretending what I would do in an imaginary scenario that has lots of truth behind it.”

Melina continued airing her grievances as she further explained why she no longer watches WWE programming.

“I don’t watch because I know that everyone is kept from what they are capable of. There’s so much talent being held back,” she wrote to a fan. “I used to watch as a fan. Knowing what I know, it hurts to watch my friends not be able to do what they are capable of doing.”

She added further, “I do believe the fans deserve 2C what THEY want & not be told what they “should” C. Stop playing & give the fans what they want!”

Former Diva Explains Why John Morrison Isn’t Receiving A Push

27

Former WWE Divas Maria Kanellis and Lilian Garcia hosted the first edition of their post-Raw show for AfterBuzzTV.com last Monday night (streaming live every Monday night immediately following Raw at http://www.ustream.tv/afterbuzztv). Highlights from the broadcast are as follows:

* Last week’s Raw kicked off with Drew McIntyre competing in his first singles match on WWE’s flagship program in several months, against Randy Orton. The hosts pondered why the Scottish wrestler is not receiving a greater push considering that he possesses extraordinary talent.

Maria cryptically says, “I have a feeling he’s paid for someone else’s sins, problems, because Drew’s really good. I’d love to see him do more stuff, but it’s unfortunate that that happens.”

Another WWE Superstar in the same precarious situation is John Morrison, whose promotion has significantly leveled off since the spring. Lilian pondered later in the show, “I really wonder why he’s not getting a push?”

Maria explains, “I think it’s a lot of complications of outside stuff. I think that a lot of times they go with who’s going to be there, who’s always going to be there, who’s going to be the easiest. He’s very easy and I love him to pieces, but I think it’s outside complications. I think that’s why.”

* Lilian, who handled ring announcing duties for Raw for ten years, explained why it’s been difficult for her to watch the show since leaving WWE in 2009.

She says, “I actually really attempted to watch a show and my stomach was in knots. I did watch WrestleMania, and I tweeted along and it was great, the fans were tweeting right back, it ended up trending worldwide, it was crazy, it was awesome. However, just watching a regular Monday Night Raw, my stomach was in knots, and it was in knots tonight. It’s just that thing of, “Wow, I really did leave.”

“It was my part for ten years. It’s funny because it’s ten years and it seems like it was more because you live and breath it every single day and every single week. You don’t have any down time, and so it’s been hard to watch an episode.”

She continued, “So it’s not like I didn’t like it or didn’t want to, it’s really one of those things where it was sad that I left but at the same time I know I made the right decision.”

The complete show can be accessed here.

– WWE apparently played a part in the “Rock in Rio 4” benefit music festival that was held at the end of September and the first few days of October. During the concert’s live stream on YouTube last Sunday night after WWE’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, while System of a Down was playing, the feed cut out and a satellite error came up that read “WWE HD STAMFORD.” It’s believed that WWE may have been offering some of their satellites to the festival so they could transmit the show to viewers around the world.

Helms and his girlfriend were badly injured after Helms crashed his motorcycle back on May 5th. He’s had multiple surgeries since then and still has a very long road to recovery.

More Details On Tammy Sytch Missing Recent Events

7

As reported earlier, former WWE talent Tammy Sytch (a/k/a Sunny) was advertised to appear at Saturday’s Legends of the Ring event at the Crowne Plaza in Monroe, New Jersey, but no-showed. That would make the second consecutive weekend where she missed scheduled bookings after arriving to them.

She was spotted highly intoxicated at the hotel’s sports bar the night before and needed assistance returning to her room since she was unable to walk on her own. She spent Saturday and Sunday in her hotel room before returning home.

Sytch wrote of her whereabouts Monday afternoon on Facebook, “sorry i havent posted…..been very sick…..”

Sytch appeared in no condition to perform at Northeast Wrestling’s Brass City Brawl II event on September 30 in Waterbury, Connecticut and was scratched from the show as a result. According to a source, a referee drove her back to her hotel and she wouldn’t leave her room the following day. She was then escorted off the premises by law enforcement. She missed a show she booked to appear on that day in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Sytch wrote “detoxing is not fun” two days later on her Facebook account. She then revealed on Thursday that she’s depressed.

“I want to thank everyone who stood behind me and sent well wishes during this hard time,” she wrote. “Im sorry I havent responded sooner, but depression can be a bitch….dont feel like doing much at all…”

Her recent troubles are apparently related to problems with her boyfriend of over five years, who she broke up with a week earlier. She trashed her longtime partner on September 22 on Facebook by claiming that he cheated on her. She wrote three days later, “ok, seriously dont know what to do….need a sugar daddy asap….any takers??” She announced the following day that she was in a relationship with Brad Zapenas, a 21-year-old minor league baseball player for the Chicago Cubs. The relationship, however, would be short-lived as they broke up on Sunday.

Sytch faced a similar set of problems earlier this year as she appeared intoxicated at a Florida independent wrestling show on February 25. She slurred her words during a verbal confrontation with Danny Demanto and suffered multiple wardrobe malfunctions—she purposely flashed her breasts during a match to onlookers and her top accidentally came loose when she attempted to slap a wrestler.

She stated days later on Facebook that she was dealing with personal problems at home: “To everyone: let me explain why Ive been so upset lately. I have made the biggest mistake of my life, and have hurt the only person who ever cared about me and stood behind me thru my worst times. Now I have to deal with the pain b/c of my own mistake.”

The former WWE Diva appeared intoxicated at a multitude of independent wrestling events in the years prior to her comeback. Her erratic behavior intensified in the months following the April 2005 death of longtime partner Chris Candido: she officiated at least two matches while intoxicated and was escorted from a wrestling convention after causing a scene near Bret Hart. Her wily antics, however, simmered after she entered a relationship with a police official in January 2006 (who she broke up with last month) and shortly thereafter began her road to recovery, which culminated with enshrinement into WWE’s Hall of Fame last April.

Hulk Hogan Says He Won’t Take Bumps At Bound For Glory

22

TNA star Hulk Hogan returns to the ring this Sunday at Bound For Glory in a no-disqualification fight against Sting, but don’t expect Hogan to get too physical.

At his latest “Hulk Hogan & Friends” event over the weekend in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Hogan told fans flat out – he won’t be taking any bumps. mentioned that he won’t be taking any bumps, which is likely why the No Disqualification stipulation was added to the match.

Hogan also told a story about how The Rock wanted to map out their entire WrestleMania 18 match in an empty building while Rocky Johnson and Pat Patterson watched. Hogan said he agreed to rehearse the match in advance out of respect to The Rock, but didn’t take any bumps then either, telling Rock that he only takes bumps if a lot of people are watching.

Morrison Mocks Cena-Triple H, WWE ’12 Legends & More

26

– Former WWE diva Tammy “Sunny” Sytch no-showed yet another event this past weekend, a ‘Legends of the Ring’ this past Saturday in Monroe, New Jersey. She was spotted at the hotel bar the night before, but never made it to the actual convention as advertised. This is the second week in a row that she’s no-showed events.

– More legends have been confirmed for the upcoming WWE ’12 video game, including former WWE tag team champions Demolition, Kevin Nash, Booker T and Arn Anderson.

— John Morrison wrote the following on Twitter on Monday regarding tonight’s RAW. Clearly playing off the “Occupy Wall Street” protests that are underway in New York City, Morrison wrote:

“#OccupyRAW today! We are the 55 who are tired of doing work that the top 1% of the WWE payroll unjustly profit from #HealthInsurance?”

“I urge all WWE superstars & divas to join our #Rally today- don’t be a scab! have some integrity!”

Morrison also posted a cartoon of John Cena licking Triple H’s feet:
