Skip Sheffield To Undergo Surgery, Raw Returning To Oklahoma

— Skip Sheffield, who has been sidelined since breaking his leg and ankle on August 18, 2010 at a WWE live event in Honolulu, Hawaii, announced via Twitter that he will be undergoing another surgical procedure this Tuesday.

He wrote, “Will be having a third surgery this Tuesday and it will be the last,” Sheffield wrote. “There are a lot of people who are far worse off and this is all happening for a good reason. I wish I was back right now and doing what I love, but things are not right and they have to be fixed. I will be 100 percent very soon and back on WWE TV and I thank all of you for your support. I have kept my head held high and I cannot thank WWE enough for their support in this time. I have worked too hard too long to just give up and while it has been difficult it has only made me a stronger better person so please be patient and I will be back I promise.”

— A Monday Night Raw taping will be held at the Oklahoma City Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on October 10, 2011.

The importance of talking about how TNA is actually doing as a company in the eyes of Spike TV: “People keep making statements about how TNA is not doing well, or TNA sucks, or whatever juvenile trite that comes out of their heads. It occurred to to me that no one is talking about how TNA is doing as a company. Coincidentally, I got an e-mail from Spike Television talking about last Thursday night’s ratings. In the e-mail, it said that Impact Wrestling was the #1 rated show in its demo & in its time period, despite that we were up against the NBA Finals. Impact Wrestling is the #1 program on all of Spike Television. We outperform the UFC. To be able to be the the #1 show on that network in prime-time is a very significant achievement. I just wanted to point that out, because not enough people are talking about the good things going out in TNA.”

How disappointed he would be if Mick Foley left TNA at the end of his contract & whether or not Mick was ever hard to work with on or off-camera: “Mick wasn’t hard for me to work with. I thoroughly enjoyed the on-camera work that Mick & I had together. I think some of the best moments that I’ve had on camera on Impact Wrestling I’ve had with Mick Foley. I will miss working on camera with Mick Foley. In terms of being disappointed, as much as I enjoyed working with Mick, there’s a very limited role for someone like Mick Foley, a character like me who doesn’t wrestle, who is really only a talker. If you look at where Impact Wrestling is right now, there’s just not a whole lot of room for more guys like me or Hulk Hogan. We just have to be the central focus of the storyline and probably will be for some time, and there’s only so much real estate. A lot of that real estate has to go to guys who can deliver action in the ring.”

How big of a blow would Kurt Angle’s full-time absence be for TNA while he is training in London, England for the 2012 Olympics: “I don’t think it’ll be a problem at all. I’m a strong believer that when you have large characters like a Kurt Angle, or a Rob Van Dam, or a Ken Anderson, or you name it, you have to cycle those personalities out from time to time in order to keep them fresh. We have seen a lot of Kurt Angle over the last year & a half. He has been central to so many storylines that if Kurt needs some time away to pursue the Olympics, and I think the publicity surrounding that would be great for our company & for Kurt Angle himself, that it will give his character time to refresh and come back more valuable than if he would just stay around and work a full-time schedule like everyone else.”

His thoughts on Chyna’s decision to restart her career in the adult entertainment industry vs. her career in professional wrestling & his reaction to her comments of TNA “missing the boat” after choosing to not bring her back to the company: “I didn’t know she made the comment that TNA ‘missed the boat,’ but I was not excited with the fact that the company decided to bring her in for the (Sacrifice) Pay-Per-View. The initial thought was a turnoff for me, but I kept my mouth shut. When I saw her at the Pay-Per-View and saw that ‘deer in the headlights’ look in her eyes when it actually came time to do something, it kind of confirmed what my instincts told me. Then I read about the fact that she wants to build her career around doing anal sex videos for Vivid. I was really, really, really, really glad that I don’t have to try & explain to anybody why I work in the same company as her.”

Ultimate Warrior Explains Why He’s Attacking Hulk Hogan

Earlier this week, former WWE superstar the Ultimate Warrior took his ongoing feud to the next level – releasing a 7-minute video preview of his upcoming ‘shoot interview’ – in which he intends to expose Hulk Hogan for the man he truly is. Warrior accused Hulk Hogan of being a cocaine-abusing scumbag who kept other wrestlers on drugs so he could control them – but still let them all sleep with his ex-wife Linda. If the preview video is any indication, this is going to be one of the most controversial shoot interviews ever.

Hogan told TMZ.com this week that he is considering legal action against Ultimate Warrior for his comments, but that hasn’t stopped Warrior from continuing his mission. On Friday, Warrior fired up the ‘ol Twitter machine and released a statement regarding his escalating smear campaign against his WrestleMania 6 opponent. Warrior tweeted:

“This thing going on between Terry and I is about something bigger than each of us. It is about YOU and the worth of your life.

People can do better things with their life potential than others but NO ONE has more potential than any other to start with.

All of us are born with the potential to do great things and live great lives.

When one does, the right thing to do is influence, inspire and empower other humans that they have the potential inside themselves, too.

Terry, doesn’t do this. First, he takes credit for everything. There is no room for anyone else or praise for others.

Two, he has NOT used his incredible life success experiences to learn from them: grow wiser, be a better man, be a more capable mentor.

When a man fails at this, he cannot be seen as a leader, someone to look up to or admire. Those who do see him as such have been mislead.

Given the choice between the truth and the lies, they choose lies. Life will not work if you choose lies. This is what I know of life.

* Randy Orton comes to the ring to cut a promo. Christian is shown on the screen. The two agree to meet at Capitol Punishment. Christian is shown driving off in his SUV.

* Sin Cara b. Ted DiBiase w/Cody Rhodes . The match ends in disqualification after Daniel Bryan came running out. Teddy Long announces a tag team match.

WWE Tells Goldust To Stop Tweeting?, Demott Teases Return

— Goldust, who has posted over 30,000 messages on Twitter since last year, was apparently told by WWE officials to cease using the microblogging website.

In recent months he would publicly block users for asking trivial questions, or even no discernible reason.

The account is still active, but has not been used since Sunday.

— Tough Enough trainer Bill DeMott was asked on Twitter when he will be coming back to wrestle for WWE.

Demott, who last competed for WWE in June 2003, said that it “could happen anytime.”

— WWE Divas Kelly Kelly and The Bella Twins are scheduled to appear on WFAN’s Boomer and Carton in the Morning on Monday, June 13 from 6 to 10 a.m. ET. The show simulcasts on MSG Network.

Officials Investigating Samoa Joe’s attack on Crimson – New Footage & Details

Fans started emailing us on Wednesday afternoon regarding a video circulating the internet of Samoa Joe assaulting Crimson in a bar from this past Saturday. IMPACT WRESTLING officials are looking into the matter, but have declined to comment thus far. You can watch the footage below, which was shot by another customer. We obtained the video from the customer’s YouTube Channel.

Samoa Joe will face Crimson this Sunday at Slammiversary on Pay-Per-View and online at TNAOnDemand.com

Crimson responded via his Twitter account @OfficialCrimson:
“So a video of an altercation with me an Joe has hit the internet…not a proud moment for me but it shows you what a tough guy Samoa Joe really is to come to my spot on my time to fight.. I’m still alive Joe and I’ll be sober Sunday..hope you’re ready for the fight of your life..”

Cena Working Injured, Orton Buys New House, WWE-Brazil

– WWE Champion John Cena is working through a number of physical ailments, including neck, hip and elbow problems. Despite what he’s going through, Cena rarely complains.

– World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton recently moved into a large new home in a suburb of St. Louis. The news was picked up by a local community newsletter, which asked neighbors to respect the sports entertainer’s privacy.

– As WWE continues to expand its business internationally, another market the company has its sights on is Brazil. Rio de Jeneiro is seen as an emerging economy and will be hosting two huge international events in the coming years – the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympic games.

WWE Stock Continues To Plummet, Fox News Covers Warrior

— Shares of WWE stock closed at $9.70 per share on Wednesday after hitting a 52-week low of $9.69 per share. WWE’s stock price closed at $10.01 per share Tuesday before dropping 3.1 percent. At the time of this post, the stock is at $9.69 per share after hitting another 52-week low of $9.44 this morning.

WWE’s stock price has continuously plummeted since the organization announced in April that their dividend price would be slashed. One year ago, WWE stock was valued at approximately $16 per share.

— Ultimate Warrior’s inflammatory online video in which he accused longtime rival Hulk Hogan of being a cocaine-using, wife-swapping “dope head” as well as a “malicious, back-stabbing operator” has garnered mainstream coverage. FoxNews.com has posted an article on the story. The matter was also discussed some morning radio talk shows.

Meanwhile, Hogan explained to a fan yesterday on Twitter why he plans on filing a lawsuit against the master of the Gorilla Press Slam.

He wrote, “Deformation of character hurts business and lives and let’s people like you doubt, then follow and believe in the hate and lies.”

Latest Kharma Baby Drama, Nash & Waltman To FCW

– As noted yesterday, Kharma is denying that former WWE developmental wrestler Byron Wilcott is the father of her child. A fan commented on Wilcott’s Facebook page last night and Wilcott replied with the following:

“Andrew please support my family in this trying time The truth and proof will be shown in the very near future . Right now all I can say is thank you for ur support as we sort out a few issues”

– With Triple H as the head of WWE’s new talent development division, a major overhaul of WWE’s developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling is expected in the coming months. While nobody is sure exactly when the changes will take place, a lot of people expect Triple H to bring in Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman to handle the day-to-day operations of working with the young talent.

– WWE has discussed changing the format of WWE Magazine to digital-only format as a cost-cutting measure.

– WWE is planning a feud between the Big Show and Alberto Del Rio that will begin on next week’s 3-hour “All Star” edition of RAW. The two are slated to have a singles match at Capitol Punishment on June 19th.

– Dolph Ziggler tweeted that he will be doing a “very special” photo shoot at next Monday’s RAW.

– After Tuesday’s SmackDown tapings from Roanoke, VA concluded, Randy Orton was attacked by Sheamus and Christian. Orton eventually got the upper hand and took out the heels. Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes also ran in to attack Orton but got beat up worse than Sheamus and Christian.

– A few fans who attended Tuesday’s SmackDown taping said that almost half of the seating in the Roanoke Civic Center was ‘blacked out’ and covered with tarps. Attendance for the lowest it’s been at the Civic Center in several years.

– Reader Stan sent word that Monday’s episode of RAW featured 32 minutes and 23 seconds of in-ring action, a bit more than the previous week.

The WWE Divas will give away a VIP experience to this year’s Summerslam in Los Angeles, California, according to BuzzerBlog.

Matt and Jeff Hardy are back with another YouTube video. After posting a video earlier this week zapping each other with a tazer, this latest installment has a more serious tone.

Jeff talks about what he’s been upto since leaving TNA television and appears to be in good spirits. Matt said Jeff is a “reborn, reincarnated person especially now that he has a daughter, he has a wife, he has family.”

Matt also calls a truce with all the “dirt sheets” out there – but we’ll see how long that one lasts.

WWE Diva Suffers Wardrobe Malfunction At SmackDown Taping

Rosa Mendes suffered a wardrobe malfunction during a dark match against Natalya at last night’s SmackDown taping in Roanoke, Virgina.

The match ended abruptly with the referee calling for the bell and giving the victory to Natalya. Mendes covered her chest with her arms and quickly headed to the back while numerous male onlookers cheered at ringside. Natalya attempted to keep the focus away from Mendes as she acted overly excited about the win.

The Roanoke Civic Center staff were overheard saying Mendes had suffered a “wardrobe malfunction.”

Mendes commented on the matter on her Twitter account, writing:

“A wardrobe malfunction that everyone wanted to see tonight.”

Hogan Threatens Lawsuit Against Warrior Following Claims

TMZ.com reports that Hulk Hogan is threatening to file a lawsuit against former WWE talent Warrior (a/k/a Ultimate Warrior) for alleged defamation.

The Founding Father of Life Intensity posted a seven-minute video Tuesday, saying, among other things, that Hogan is a cocaine user who had an open marriage and encouraged ex-wife Linda to indulge in sexual intercourse with other wrestlers.

Hogan says the allegation of drug use is “a blatant lie.” Regarding his claim on Linda, he said, “None of that ever happened. This guy is out of his mind.”

Hogan says he “tried ignoring” Warrior, but he’s now plans on filing a lawsuit against The Ultimate One to prevent him from “spewing sewage.”

Kharma Says Wrestler’s Claim To Being Her Baby’s Dad Is False

WWE talent Kia Stevens (a/k/a Kharma) has issued a statement denying Byron Wilcott’s claim that he is the father of her child.

Wilcott, a former WWE developmental talent, posted a message on his Facebook account earlier this week claiming to be the baby’s father. Stevens’s legal representation issued a statement today denoting the claim as “completely false.” The statement reads:

“Mr. Byron Wilcott is not the father of Ms. Stevens’s baby. The post on Mr. Wilcott’s Facebook page is completely false and we do not know why he would publish such a fantastical falsehood. We have contacted Mr. Wilcott through his Facebook page and have requested him to publish a retraction.”

Anybody else think this would make for a great episode of Maury?

VIDEO: Ultimate Warrior Shoots HARD On Hulk Hogan

The Ultimate Warrior has been telling Hulk Hogan that “karma is coming to collect” – in the form of a 55-minute shoot interview that will be released later this month (6/17). Warrior has released a preview of the shoot interview, and the gloves are now officially off.

Here’s a taste of what Warrior reveals about Hulk Hogan in this short clip:

– Hulk Hogan is a dope head who has spent countless days doing nothing but snorting cocaine.

– Hogan is a “dope head” who kept other wrestlers around him hooked on drugs so he could have control over them.

– Hulk and his ex-wife Linda had an open marriage where they would both “have fun” on the side.

– Hulk would let other wrestlers get intimate with his wife Linda. Warrior says he’s probably the only wrestler who refused an offer to sleep with his wife.

– Warrior runs down hogan for sleeping with one of his daughter’s friends. Warrior says it’s no surprise that Hogan’s son Nick ended up the way he did, because he shares Hulk’s black heart and evil mind. Warrior referenced the jailhouse phone calls between Hogan and his son Nick after Nick’s accident as a prime example of what a despicable human being Hogan is. Warrior says there is nothing more disgraceful than a parent who fails their children.

– Warrior says it’s pathetic that Hogan is a 60 year old man still wearing a bandanna. He also said Hogan has hair extensions.

Warrior will release the hour-long shoot interview later this month, at which time he’ll also announce a new television project he’s working on.

Randy Savage’s Cause Of Death Revealed

Lanny Poffo, the brother of the late Randy Savage, has announced in an interview with Florida’s Bright House Sports Networkthat the official cause of the legendary Macho Man has been revealed.

Savage died from a heart attack caused by a condition called ventricular fibrillation, which is an abnormal heart arrhythmia that twitches the heart and prevents it from pumping blood to the body.

Poffo also revealed that Savage’s wife Lynn, who was in the car with Randy at the time of his fatal crash, acted heroically and saved the lives other people while their car was veering out of control into oncoming traffic:

“Randy’s foot was still on the accelerator. She reached over and steered the Jeep Wrangler into a tree, saving the live of a motorcyclist and possibly a bus. You know, there’s no telling what can happen when you’re going the wrong way.”
