JR Talks About Cole’s Jab At Him On RAW, Cena’s Promo

10

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has responded to Michael Cole’s jab at home from Monday’s RAW. Ross tweeted on Monday afternoon:

“I was very uncomfortable with Cole invoking Jerry’s late mom into Cole’s presentation. He didn’t have to go there.”

“Getting ‘knocked’ by the Raw annoucners monday night was like a junior high kid knocking the varsity. It doesn’t matter.”

“Cole is like a yapping dog. One just tunes it out. Thought the ‘Presidents/THQ’ line was funny…not original but funny.”

Regarding John Cena’s battle rap diss of The Rock, Ross wrote:

“I thought Cena’s response to Rock was one of the best Cena promos in ages. Really enjoyed it.”

Jericho Says He Won’t Be At WM27 & Comments On DWTS

3

We’ve been reporting this week that former WWE wrestler Chris Jericho will be a part of the upcoming season of the hit ABC network show, Dancing With The Stars.

As part of his media tour to promote his new book Undisputed, Jericho appeared on the “Open Mike” radio show on 740 The Game in Orlando, FL on Monday and was asked whether the “major announcement” he’s been teasing in recent weeks will be that he’ll be dancing with the stars.

“People keep asking me that and they also keep asking me if I’m going to be the lead singer of Velvet Revolver,” Jericho said. “Neither one of those things is what my announcement is. It would be nice to do either or but that’s not what I’m thinking about when I’m talking about my announcement.”

Instead, Jericho said that the announcement actually has to do with his rock band Fozzy.

“I’ve been threatening this announcement for about three weeks now. It’s basically something to do with what’s going on this summer. I kind of alluded to it … a couple of big shows we’re hoping to get confirmation on pretty soon.”

The fact that the announcement is not related to DWTS does not mean he won’t still be on the show. The full cast of DWTS will be announced next Monday night, February 28th, during ABC’s The Bachelor show.

Jericho also commented on whether he’d be joining returning WWE stars The Rock, Triple H and the Undertaker as part of WWE’s upcoming WrestleMania 27 pay-per-view. Unfortunately for Jericho fans, it’s not looking good.

“Yeah, it would be great to be a part of it,” he said, “But I think at this point in time with all the guys that are coming back … The Rock came back and obviously Triple H will be back soon and probably The Undertaker. All these guys are returning and so it’s better for me not to be there and get lost in the shuffle of everybody that comes back and all the hoopla of WrestleMania.”

In case you missed it from RAW, John Cena returned to his hip hop roots and served The Rock a lesson in basic thugganomics:

Heat On Generation Me, Dreamer Praises WWE Segment, More

4

— TNA Wrestling officials were understanding of the travel issues that prevented Generation Me from making their scheduled appearance at last week’s Against All Odds pay-per-view. However, they were not pleased with the duo relaying their predicament on Twitter. Management feel Max and Jeremy should have allowed them to come up with a replacement plan and announce it at once rather than sharing details of their travel problems online.

The next day, Max took a shot at Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson while watching his WWE return, writing on Twitter: “The Rock would not pass a wellness policy test.” The comment was later deleted.

— Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s return to WWE garnered a rave review from Tommy Dreamer. He wrote yesterday on Twitter: “I just saw the Rock’s return & the 2/21/11 video. AMAZING. If anyone wants 2 know why wrestling is the best. Watch that. Gave me goosebumps!”

– The latest issue of WWE Magazine, which features the “Definitive Guide to WrestleMania” does not list any Chris Benoit WrestleMania matches. Hacksaw Jim Duggan & Friends Tweet About His HOF Induction

3

On RAW, it was announced that Hacksaw Jim Duggan will be joining Shawn Michaels in the WWE Hall of Fame’s Class of 2011. Duggan tweeted the following on Monday night:

“I MADE IT TOUGH GUYS! WWE HALL OF FAME HERE I COME! HooOoOo! USA! USA! (thumbs up, waving American flag, stomping around, tongue out, wink)”

“Cracking a bottle of lake water in celebration! Thanks to all you tough guys! USA! USA! USA! (kisses 2×4)”

“Really happy my #1 tough guy “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase is going to be inducting this tough guy into The Hall of Fame! (thumbs up)”

The Honky Tonk Man: “Congrats to Hacksaw Jim Duggan going into the WWE HOF. HTM Team”

Charlie Haas: “Congrats Hackksaw. Well deserved. A class act.”

Congrats to Hacksaw Jim Duggan … Now, can we get a “USA! USA!” chant up in here?

Christian Talks About His Return, When He Can Wrestle, Del Rio

5

Following his surprise return at Sunday’s Elimination Chamber PPV, Christian was interviewed by Joey Styles this week and had this to say about:

His Surprise Appearance At Elimination Chamber:

“I was on my way to physical therapy in Florida and accidentally got on the interstate heading west. For the life of me I couldn’t find anywhere to turn around and the next thing I knew, I was in Oakland where Elimination Chamber was. What a coincidence!”

How His Torn Pectoral Muscle Is Healing Following Surgery:

“I’m not going to lie, it was the hardest thing I’ve had to overcome in my entire professional career. There were days I wondered if I’d ever be able to compete again. But the reaction from my peeps, not only in Oakland but the entire WWE Universe, reminded me why I worked so hard to get back. And who knows? If I hadn’t been injured by Del Rio maybe I would have won the Royal Rumble and it would be me challenging for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania.”

When He Will Be Medially Cleared To Wrestle Again:

“I don’t have a definite date yet, but I’m hopeful that it will be in the next few weeks. I’m not planning on missing WrestleMania.”

Parting Words For Alberto Del Rio, Who Put Him Out Of Action:

“Payback’s a b**** … but you already know that, Alberto. (laughs)”

Taker Messes Up On RAW, What Happened During Commercial

41

On Monday’s RAW, both The Undertaker and Triple H returned to WWE on RAW and had a face-to face confrontation.

The two men stared at the WrestleMania 27 sign and taunted each other for several minutes, until the show went to commercial.

An SEScoops.com correspondent who is at RAW live has informed us that Triple H left the ring first and posed on the ramp. Undertaker then left the ring and saluted the crowd before heading backstage.

According to our source, Triple H received the biggest reaction of the night.

Another thing fans didn’t see on television – the Undertaker missed his cue and came out before his music began. He quickly went back off camera and did the entrance over.

Triple H & Undertaker Return On RAW, WM27 Match Teased

2

On Monday’s RAW, both The Undertaker and Triple H returned to WWE after several months off.

The Undertaker was revealed to be the man behind the cryptic 2/21/11 videos we’ve been seeing in recent weeks, after a 1-hour countdown clock that began at the start of the show expired.

As soon as The Undertaker did his intro and made his way to the ring, Triple H’s music hit and he went face-to-face with the Dead Man in the ring.

The two men stared at the WrestleMania 27 sign and taunted each other for several minutes, until the show went to commercial.

Based on that confrontation, it looks clear that a Triple H vs. Undertaker WrestleMania match is a go.

CM Punk Talks About His Goals, FCW Star Dating Isis, Jericho

5

– CM Punk, a WWE Triple Crown Champion and the only WWE Superstar to win the Money in the Bank Ladder Match two years in a row, revealed to WWE Magazine what he has left to accomplish.

“Obviously, I’ll always be known as the guy who won back-to-back Money in the Bank Ladder Matches at WrestleMania. So I think that’s the goal to beat. There aren’t a lot of things that I have left to do,” he said. “There are two titles that I haven’t won: One of them is the United States Championship, and the other is the WWE Championship. I’m not one to think that I’m beyond the U.S. Title. I’m kind of a “collect-them-all” type. But I’ve got three big things left.

“I have to win a Royal Rumble; I have to win main-event ‘Mania; and I have to win that WWE Title. So I don’t think my defining ‘Mania moment’s happened yet.”

– Chris Jericho appeared on Fuse Network’s Hoppus on Music over the weekend.

– Isis the Amazon, the six foot nine women’s wrestler who worked a tryout match last week for TNA Wrestling, and was briefly under contract to World Wrestling Entertainment last year, revealed on her Twitter account yesterday that she’s dating WWE developmental wrestler Marcus Owens.

“Got a new bf ;)” she wrote. “HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!”

Trish Stratus Interview: Lay-Cool, Movie Career, Yoga

4

WWE.com has posted Joey Styles’ interview with Trish Stratus, who returned to the company at Sunday’s Elimination Chamber PPV. Here are some highlights of what Trish said about:

Getting Physical With Lay-Cool: “Lay-Cool irks me a bit. They’ve been running their mouths off, so I thought I’d show them who’s “tough enough.” [laughs]

There’s just a little rule to take away [from tonight’s experience]: Whenever I come to a WWE event – although I am retired – I should always, always have my wrestling boots. When you wear heels and you try to be a Diva, it’s not a good thing, as we saw this evening when I tripped up ap a little bit. Hey, I’m retired. I tried to deliver some Stratusfaction, and I’m a little bit rusty.”

Her Yoga Studio In Canada: “Stratusphere Yoga Studio [stratusphereyoga.com], in the suburbs just north of Toronto, is doing very well. It started out with women coming in and doing yoga, but now I’m seeing athletes come in, like the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Argonauts. I think [yoga has] become more mainstream. More athletes are talking about how it has helped them and their careers, so it’s nice to see that more and more people are accepting of yoga. ”

Her Movie Career: “I have been keeping busy. The latest thing that I’m very excited about is this action film I did, called Bail Enforcers. I was doing some stunts – I actually did all my own stunts, which was so much fun, I just had a blast doing it – and there’s a little “leak” of the footage on my website, so you can see a little snippet of the film there.”

Del Rio Talks JBL Comparisons, His Finisher & More

14

Royal Rumble winner Alberto Del Rio was interviewed for the latest issue of WWE Magazine. Here are some highlights of what Del Rio said about:

Comparisons To JBL: “JBL was one person, and I’m a different person. He was American, and I’m Mexican. And our styles are totally different. Sure some things are alike…the money, the big entrance, our classic manliness, our hatred of Rey Mysterio. But to say we are the same is lazy, which is why so many of you Americans are making the comparison, I think. All rich people aren’t the same!”

His Promo Videos: “A guy like me needs 100 weeks of promos,” he said. “Eight weeks was enough to let people get a feel for who I am, but I could have talked about myself for another 92 weeks. I’m not a new guy, I’m not a rookie. I’m a third-generation wrestler. And I’m a guy with experience. The long promo time made it so that people were aching to see Alberto Del Rio. And when they finally did, they said, “Oh, he’s not just some rich guy—he’s someone who can really, really wrestle.” Because I am, and I can.”

His Flying Arm Bar Finishing Move: “That is because there is no name worthy of how amazing it is,” Del Rio responded. “The commentators call it the cross-arm breaker, but it’s so much more than that. If a fan came up with a really good name, I might pay them for it. Perhaps I’ll have a contest. That’s how my father’s name, Dos Caras, came about in Mexico. It was in a magazine, and a fan designed the mask and came up with the name.

“I certainly have the money to spare. Americans are always coming to Mexicans with work opportunities, so it’s the least I can do.”

Update On Chris Jericho Doing Dancing With The Stars

6

As reported earlier, there are online reports that former WWE superstar and New York Times best selling author Chris Jericho will be appearing on the next season of hit ABC show Dancing With The Stars.

The news of Jericho’s possible involvement has now been picked up by a number of mainstream media outlets, including USA Today.

The cast of the upcoming season, which premieres on March 21, will be revealed tonight on ABC during “The Bachelor.”

Jericho was considered for the previous season of DWTS in fall 2010 prior to his WWE contract expiring, but had to decline due to his schedule touring with Fozzy.

JR Blog: Elimination Chamber, Cena-Rock, Trish’s Return

5

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has updated his blog at JRsBarBQ.com with his thoughts about Sunday’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. Here are some highlights of what JR said about:

The SmackDown Chamber Match & Christian’s Return:

“The Smackdown Elimination Chamber match was big league. One of the best PPV bouts I’ve seen in a long time especially one involving multiple participants. It earned a FULL bottle of sauce rating.
Nice to see Christian return as he’s been on the injured list for months. ‘Captain Charisma’ is due to have a big 2011. Very skilled, underrated talent.”

Trish Stratus’ Return:

“Another Canadian import made her return as well as Trish Stratus had an enhanced , surprise cameo on the PPV. The brunette Trish is just as lovely as the blond Trish. Good to hear that she’s going to be a Tough Enough trainer. I’m watching.”
CM Punk Getting A Great Crowd Reaction

“It sounded like there were lots of cheers for CM Punk. Was it fans being defiant, fans who simply like the villains, or fans who appreciate Punk’s skill level? What ever the reason, Punk felt like a star inside the Raw Elimination Chamber.”

Michael Cole’s Comments About Jerry Lawler:

“The Voice of WWE, or so he says, Michael Cole really had an impassioned rant in the post match of the WWE Title bout where it was almost as if Cole was channeling a classic verbal barrage from Mr. McMahon or Jesse ‘the Body’ Ventura when both were having ‘bad days.’ Very ‘I want to slap this guy’ type of delivery and verbiage.”

“It will be interesting to see how Cole’s rant is addressed Monday night on Raw as it relates to sitting next to King at their announce table.”

John Cena’s Response To The Rock:

“If you had Fruity Pebbles is the answer as to how John Cena responded to the Rock’s Cena fueled in ring promo Monday night on Raw then you win. However, one has to know that a more serious retort is coming at some point from the #1 contender to the WWE Title.”

John Cena Says He’s Ready For The Rock Tonight On RAW

24

On tonight’s episode of WWE RAW, John Cena will respond to The Rock’s comments about him on last week’s show.

Cena wrote the following about The Rock on Twitter on Monday morning:

“CeNation. Handled business last night. Tonight I will see what we do about the rock. If he wants some…come get some.”

“This could be very interesting.”

“Ps..grabbed a spare steel chain and lock off the elimination chamber just in case…gotta go now. Big peek a boo tournament b4 raw :)”

Cena saying he grabbed a steel chain and lock could be a sign that we’ll see his old “rapper” gimmick return tonight, but that’s just speculation.

At this time, there’s been no indication that The Rock will be appearing on RAW tonight. Cena won the RAW brand Elimination Chamber match at Sunday’s pay-per-view, so he will challenge The Miz for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania.

With The Rock calling out John Cena and the Miz last week on RAW, it should be interesting to see whether The Rock gets factored into the WWE championship match at WrestleMania.

RAW Preview, Stacy Keibler At The NBA All Star Game, HBK

4

– Tonight’s episode of WWE RAW takes place from the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California.

With today’s date being 2/21/11, expect to see the culmination of WWE’s 2/21/11 teaser videos on RAW. The arena website has been advertising an appearance from The Undertaker, so don’t be surprised if those cryptic videos were for his return.

The dark match main event for RAW will be John Cena and Randy Orton teaming up against WWE Champion The Miz and Nexus leader CM Punk, with Michael Cole as referee.

– Ted DiBBiase and his younger brother Brett will be appearing at the 3/16 FCW show from the Charlotte Harbor Event Center. The DiBiase brothers will be greeting fans and signing autographs before the show.

– Future WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels will be appearing at the Detroit Autorama in Detroit, Michigan on 2/27 from 1-4pm.

– Former WWE diva Stacy Keibler was at Sunday’s NBA All Star game and was seen mingling with various NBA stars on the court after the game was over. Check out this picture of Keibler chilling with Lebron James:

Trish To Wrestle At WM27? Next HOF Inductee, Tough Enough

7

– At Sunday’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, Trish Stratus made a surprise return to WWE, where it was announced she’ll be joining Booker T as one of the trainers on the new season of Tough Enough. Later in the show, Trish came to the aid of Kelly Kelly, who was getting beat down by LayCool.

With Trish back in the mix and aligning herself with Kelly Kelly, there is talk that Trish and Kelly will team up to wrestle LayCool at WrestleMania 27.

– Speaking of Trish, she wrote the following on Twitter last night about her WWE return:

“OMG I’m trending! Everyone must want to find out what not to wear when u kick ass. I had so much fun delivering Stratusfaction-I missed all of u guys! Can’t tell u how much ur support means to me!!”

– Another name for the 2011 WWE Hall of Fame is expected to be announced on tonight’s RAW. Tammy “Sunny” Sytch, The Road Warriors, Abdullah The Butcher, Lex Luger and Arn Anderson are all names that have been discussed for this year’s class.

– The fourth coach for WWE’s new Tough Enough season is expected to be Bill DeMott, best known as Hugh Morris in WCW. DeMott was a trainer on Season 3 of Tough Enough and has been in touch with WWE officials in recent weeks.

It’s also been reported that each episode of Tough Enough will feature an appearance from a current WWE Superstar or Diva.

Jericho To Dance With The Stars? Edge Makes History, Christian

5

– We reported last week that radio host Eddie Trunk, a long time friend of former WWE superstar Chris Jericho, was teasing that Jericho’s next career move would be “shocking” and an announcement would be made soon.

According to a reliable source, Chris Jericho is being strongly considered to be a part of the next season of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars show.

The cast of Season 12 will officially be announced February 28th, with the first shows airing in March.

If this report is accurate and Jericho does dance with the stars, he would likely be unable to return to WWE until the summer at the earliest.

– Joey Styles noted on Twitter that Edge is now the first WWE champion in five years to successfully defend his title in the Elimination Chamber match.

– Christian, who returned to WWE at Elimination Chamber, wrote the following on Twitter after the pay-per-view:

“So Oakland was fun!!… I was in the area so I decided 2 stop in & say hello.”

Despite his return, Christian still has a more months of physical rehab on his surgically repaired pectoral muscle.

WWE Considered Lawler Title Win, WWE Terms Trend On Twitter

8

– At Sunday’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, WWE champion The Miz successfully defended the WWE Championship against Jerry Lawler. According to a WWE source, there was actually talk in creative meetings of Jerry Lawler winning the title from the Miz and then dropping it back to him on RAW tonight.

The main reason WWE decided against putting the title on Lawler for one day is because the company feels The Miz is still being established as a formidable champion and losing the title already would be damaging to his momentum.

WWE has a track record of giving young superstars the WWE title or the World Heavyweight title for a short run (Randy Orton, Sheamus, CM Punk) and apparently they’ve realized a short title run can be damaging to their characters.

– Speaking of Lawler’s WWE title match, Jim Ross wrote the following on Twitter regarding the King’s valiant effort against the Miz, despite coming up short:

“Just talked to King & he’s disappointed in outcome of his bout w/ Miz. Felt as if he let his late Mom & friends down. Makes Raw compelling.”

– Elimination Chamber, Trish Stratus, Jerry Lawler, Michael Cole, LayCool, Drew McIntyre, Alex Riley and … Fruity Pebbles were among the WWE-related topics that were trending worldwide on Twitter on Sunday night.

It’s worth noting that Guerrero’s new ring name is Raquel Diaz. Despite the fact that the talented young lady is not wrestling under the Guerrero family name, FCW has acknowledged that she is the daughter of Eddie and Vickie Guerrero.

Chris Jericho Talks Chris Benoit, Advice For TNA, A Third Book

7

Ryan Rider sent the following:

CHRIS JERICHO INTERVIEW RECAP – MAIN EVENT RADIO

Chris Jericho Interview Recap: Chris Jericho appeared on the Main Event this past Sunday. The professional wrestler, former world champion, rock star, and actor discussed his new book Undisputed, already a New York Times Bestseller; as well as the status of his wrestling career, advice for TNA, throwing tobacco spit in the Rock’s face, his matches with Chris Benoit being buried in history, his band Fozzy, and more. Jericho is no stranger to The Main Event, making this his sixth appearance on the program.

SHOW: The Main Event, Sundays on CJLO 1690AM in Montreal
HOST: Ryan Rider

I would like to introduce someone for his record breaking 5th appearance on the Main Event…he is a 2 time interview of the year winner…he is the Ayatollah of Rock N’ Rolla with his band Fozzy…the first ever WWE Undisputed world champion…his new book titled Undisputed is in stores everywhere now…he is froot…he has travelled the world countless times and lives to tell his tales…let me present, Chris Jericho, welcome back into the Main Event!!

1) Well of course you’ve got your brand new book, Undisputed, which as mentioned is in stores everywhere now. How did writing this book differ from your first one, the New York Times Bestseller, A Lion’s Tale?

Undisputed is now officially a New York Times Bestseller. It is very gratifying. It takes a lot of time to write a book; it took a year and a half to get it how I wanted it. It feels good. Many times when you do something for the first time it’s always unchartered waters. You don’t really know how to do it, where to go. Now that I have one under my belt, I kind of knew the shortcuts but it’s a long arduous process. That will never change. This time I had more experience, more knowledge. It probably went by a little bit quicker because of my experience with the first one. If you’re going to do it right – for both of these books I wrote every word that you see. Everybody seems to like it, it’s being critically acclaimed. This is the type of buzz that you want.

2) One of the things I was surprised about in the early part of the book was the amount of heat that you had coming into WWE. The “tobacco spit” incident with the Rock… why do you think that the rock never laid into you for it and has that subject ever come back up in a conversation with rocky?

He remembers it, of course he does. What happened was it was the first match I ever had against The Rock. I did have a lot of animosity and uphill battles when I first got to WWE. I picked up a cup from the floor but when I threw it in the Rock’s face it wasn’t beer or soda, it was tobacco spit juice. He was really freaking out, it went in his eyes. He never really did nuts on me about it. I think because he kind of emphasized with me about it because he came in with a lot of animosity coming in. He kind of had the same thing when he was first coming in – he got a big push coming in, a lot of people didn’t like him. He got a really big push right off the bat and people didn’t like him. The cream always rises to the top. He was my only ally when I first got there in 1999.

3) You seem to be your own biggest critic throughout both of your books. Do you ever feel that you are a bit too harsh on yourself?

It’s one of the reasons I’m always successful in everything I’ve done. I’ve never settled for anything. I’ve always wanted better. I always want it perfect, but nothing could ever be perfect. It makes you strive for that. It makes you create better moments in wrestling, or in music, or in writing. As an artist you always want to get better. Every time you sit back and think “I am the best in the world at what I do”, but if you believe that all the time then you’re living in denial. That’s something that people appreciate in both my books is that I’m always very honest. When something didn’t work out the way I wanted it to work out I had no problems bringing it up and facing it. It makes for great stories and great writing no matter what the situation might be. I think Undisputed overall is a better book than A Lion’s Tale because it is just as funny, just as honest but it a lot deeper because of all the experiences I went through during the time period I wrote about. The first book is written from a guy in his 20?s with a frivolous and fancy free type of vibe. Things in life hit you in different ways. Mature experiences, grown up experiences seen from a guy in his 30?s sees it in a different vibe; but still very funny, very entertaining. A good movie will take you through an emotional roller coaster. That’s what Undisputed does.

4) Numerous times in the book you state that it is a shame that many of your classic matches are buried and technically do not exist anymore. Do you think that WWE should acknowledge the matches that you had with Chris Benoit?

I don’t really want to watch them. I don’t think I would get the same enjoyment or vibe from them after all that’s happened. I don’t blame Vince for now using them because he [Benoit] did a lot to damage the industry. It’s not a shame that they’re not shown; it’s a shame because of what happened. I would feel very uncomfortable at this point, maybe in the future, but not right now.

5) Wrestlemania X8. You got 1/5 of what your opponent HHH got paid for the event. I heard that Hogan wasn’t happy with his pay at the event either compared to what he got in the old days of Wrestlemania. Why, when you were the champion, did they book you so atrociously as Steph’s lackey and then sent you a low-end paycheck?

One didn’t have anything to do with the other. You can read the whole story in the book. It was my idea but the other part of the story where Stephanie and I were having an affair was left out. Then I would end up being pussy-whipped by her. People in the crowd always know someone who meets a girl and then you never see the guy again. Next thing you know the guy is wearing the same clothes as her, likes the same music as her. I thought it would be really good. Vince liked that part of it but not the other part of it. I was basically pussy whipped without the pussy. IMO I wasn’t really quite ready for it. It wouldn’t be booked like that the other 5 championship reigns I had. But at the time I was just trying to keep my head above the water and be a good soldier. This made for great stories in the book. Just because you’re the world champion doesn’t mean you’re the best. That was the problem at the time, I wasn’t the best guy in the company even though I was the champion. And that was the problem. You learn and get better as a performer. I had a better repore with Vince, with the performers. You get better with age. And that’s the way it should be. Whether you’re a performer, a soldier, a computer programmer, or the President of the United States, as you get more experience you get better overall.

7) Speaking of booking…you make a jab at TNA’s booking in your book. You also posted some tweets on your Twitter page (quote: After 10 yrs TNA talent still have an inferiority complex. If u don’t think that u work for the BEST COMPANY EVER then nobody else will! As a performer u hav to act and project that where u work is the pinnacle of competition! If not then the whole place just seems second rate)…What advice do you have for them?

When we worked in ECW it was a small company, I wasn’t making more than $250 a match, but you believed in that company. You believed you were better than WWE or WCW. When you believed it, the fans believed it. There were people there who would die for the company. That’s how you gain fans. If you don’t have the confidence in yourselves. If I’m watching something where they basically say we’re #2, and always talking about #1. Then why would I watch #2? I would just switch the channel to #1. If you work somewhere, you need to project that this is the best place in the world. Otherwise then why are you there, why are you wasting your time being there? I want TNA to grow as a company, it’s better for me as a performer and me as a businessman. But how can they grow if every chance they get they are constantly talking about up north and the WWF? When I was up north everything was against me and now I’m the champion. Well that makes you look bad. If I was working for TNA I would say that this is the best company in the world and this is where the best competition is. And leave it at that. If you don’t believe that then you shouldn’t be on TV working there.

8) What is the status of your wrestling career right now? I assume that you plan to come back down the line, but will this be sooner or later?

I left the WWE in September to tour with Fozzy. We have a lot of momentum behind us. We’ve been to England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France, Belgium, Australia, Canada, we just did a show in Los Angeles a few weeks ago which was cool. When I was a kid I had two dreams: to be a wrestling and to be a rock star. I’m not sure what’s going to happen with wrestling. When the time comes, if I feel like I’m ready to go back and that I’m going to be able to reinvent myself and do something better. Roll the dice, who knows. In 2005, I knew that I might have never came back, I was really burned out on wrestling. I knew that if I came back I wanted to be better than ever. This last time I wasn’t burned out, I just had other projects. I’m still a big fan of the product. Whatever happens, happens. I’ve been very fortunate that I’ve never contained myself within the wrestling box. I have a lot of projects that are very successful that I need to spend time on. A lot of people get mad at me by that but that’s what Chris Jericho has always been. If my name is on it then it is the very best that I can possibly do. In the WWE, if I was there right now I would not be 100%. And you can’t be that way when you’re working there, you have to be 100% committed. If not, step aside and let someone else take over that is.

You’re going to have to wait until Book #3. Undisputed ends when I return to the WWE in 2007. There is already 3 ½ years of material including the 3 best years of my career. Undisputed is going to do even better than A Lion’s Tale. There is no reason to not do #3. The material I have for #3 is just as good as the first 2. I still have a few years to go before I write but I would definitely like to write another one. But it is not about the numbers, it is about the quality. If I don’t think it would be as good, I won’t do it.
