Past Names Scheduled For Raw, WWE’s Death Clause, More

15

— As noted earlier, WWE Superstars from both Raw and SmackDown will be on hand for the record-breaking 900th edition of the longest running, weekly episodic television program in history: Monday Night Raw. According to a report on f4wonline.com, names from the past will also be appearing to give the show a nostalgic feel.

No names were specified.

— Author and Linda McMahon activist Irv Muchnick published today the death clause written in all WWE talent contracts:

“WRESTLER, on behalf of himself and his heirs, successors, assigns and personal representatives, hereby releases, waives and discharges PROMOTER from all liability to WRESTLER and covenants not to sue PROMOTER for any and all loss or damage on account of injury to any person or property or resulting in serious or permanent injury to WRESTLER or WRESTLER’s death, whether caused by the negligence of the PROMOTER, other wrestlers or otherwise.”

As reported earlier, former WWE performer Gertrude Vachon (a/k/a Luna Vachon) died this morning at her mother’s home in Florida. She was staying with her mother after her own home was recently burned down in a fire.

In an update on the situation, TMZ.com reports that Vachon was found dead by her mother at approximately 10 a.m. this morning, according to law enforcement officials. Her cause of death has not been determined yet.

Authorities currently do not believe there was any foul play involved in her passing. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.

Scott Hall’s Publicist Debunks Rumors That He Is Seriously Ill

10

Scott Hall’s publicist issued a cryptic statement on MySpace.com this afternoon asking that fans keep “The Bad Guy” in their thoughts and prayers. She added, “Will update as soon as I know.”

She then clarified her remarks with the following statement:

Well once again I come to put an end to the BS and Assumptions of others..

Why in heavens name, would anyone think Scott is seriously ill.. just because.. I said keep him in your thoughts and prayers…

He is in a place he is getting help.. doesn’t mean the road will be easy.. he is dealing with much.. He is making life changeing changes.. old habits are hard to break..

I said.. when I know ,you will.. but until then I wish people wouldn not take things out of context and assume the worse..

I still ask that you keep him in your thoughts and prayers.. that he will come out of this healthy and happy.. After all.. we just want The Bad Guy to be ok…

Maggie

It was noted earlier this week by longtime friend Kevin Nash that Hall had checked into a rehabilitation center on behalf of WWE’s Talent Wellness Program. He was scratched from an independent wrestling show tour of the East Coast, including a heavily promoted event in New York City.

Hall’s publicist said last week: “Recovery for Scott has been very slow process; he was trying to get better and was looking forward to his appearances on the East Coast.”

Hall had been in the hospital recently as he came down with double pneumonia, affecting both of his lungs.

Date: 8/25/10
Your Hosts: Patrick Kelley, James Walsh, & Nick Noel
Transcript By: Patrick Kelley

One of the hottest names on the wrestling scene right now as she sets her sights on success outside of it, Mickie James stops by to discuss her new CD, her upcoming concert supporting Gretchen Wilson and Montgomery Gentry, and her time in the wrestling business working in bars and clubs all the way through working in front of nearly 100,000 on the showcase of the immortals, WrestleMania. It is a fun interview with a talented performer.

This interview was conducted on Monday, August 23 for air on August 25. This was conducted before the passing of Luna Vachon. As we didn’t mention it on the air, I’d like to send out our sincere condolences and to dedicate this interview and broadcast to the memory of Luna Vachon. Her hard work will always be remembered at the Wrestling Epicenter.

MICKIE JAMES

– Mickie comes onto the show and jumps into a discussion on her new album “Strangers & Angels” and she says the experience has been very positive with good reviews & a great fan response.

– She decided to go into music because its something she’s always loved. She played violin in high school and was always interested in it, and she began writing songs while on the road in the WWE. She was never professionally trained to sing, but decided to give it a shot and she’s very happy with how its turned out.

– For right now, she’s trying to balance both wrestling & music, and will actually be facing Awesome Kong in October. She did make it sound as though music was more the route she was hoping to travel.

– Going into her wrestling career, James mentions being a fan of her work since first seeing her in BBOW back in 2001. She says going from the independents to the WWE was a huge accomplishment in her career. She was also very proud of the storyline with herself and Trish Stratus for Wrestlemania 22. She feels she was brought up to the main roster in an awesome story that helped her in the long run.

– James mentions that on this show’s WrestleMania 22 preview years ago, they remarked that the longest running story going into the show was the Mickie/Trish angle and as a result, it was one of the most anticipated. Mickie says there was pressure to deliver, but they both knew their characters well & understood the storyline perfectly, so they made it work.

– In comparing music to wrestling, she says that wrestling is more of a display of strength while performing music shows a more vulnerable side of her, so fans get to see a different side to her personality.

– She talks about her appearance on the television show “Psych” and she had a lot of fun playing the role she played. She says acting isn’t really the route she’s attempting to travel but she’s open to it.

– Mickie felt that the reason WWE didn’t want to use her Indy name “Alexis Laree” is because they probably thought it didn’t sound like a real name. She had no problems using her real name on WWE television as the name sounds cool. She gives her mother props for the cool name though Mickie and James brieftly joke about the “Hey Mickie” song from the 80’s.

– When she started going into music, she says that the WWE supported her every step along the way up until she left the company.

– Dixie Carter attended some of Mickie’s concerts, and when asked if she’d go back to TNA, she says its something that interests her. However, she wants to balance both music & wrestling. She says she’ll have to see where music takes her and if she would be able to do both. She did also mention that TNA has a less strenuous schedule.

– She’s going to perform at a huge concert in her hometown of Richmond, VA with huge country music talents such as Gretchen Wilson and Montgomery Gentry. She says it’s a huge honor to be doing a big show like that, especially with big names involved. She says it is by far the biggest audience she’ll have ever sung in front of and is so happy that it is in her own hometown.

– She has heard people compare it to Gretchen Wilson which she sees as a massive compliment but she wants Gretchen to sound like Gretchen and Mickie to sound like Mickie.

– Mickie describes her music as “Where country meets rock”. James says he can hear a lot of rock influence, especially classic Southern rock. Mickie seems happy that he caught that.

– The discussion shifts to her leaving the WWE. Mickie says that there were goals she wishes she had accomplished, but was happy with her success there. When asked about the “Piggy James” story with Michelle McMcool, she acknowledges the mixed reactions the storyline got, but it ultimately didn’t get the payoff it needed because she got the Staff Infection. She also talks about how she forced herself to be ready in time for Wrestlemania 26.

– She has written more music for another album and hopes to keep growing bigger and bigger in her music career as she continues to improve.

– James mentions that recent guests have said how loyal wrestling fans are. Mickie agrees saying she has some of the best fans in the world and that wrestling fans are a lot like music fans in that if they really connect with you, they’ll be fans for life. She loves them all.

WWE Issues Statement Regarding The Death Of Luna Vachon

2

World Wrestling Entertainment has been made aware of the passing of Gertrude (Luna) Vachon. WWE extends its deepest condolences to the Vachon family.

Angle Talks About His TNA Contract Expiring, Retiring & More

13

Kurt Angle says he’s going to continue wrestling full-time until his TNA deal expires in a year, but after that, he’ll have to evaluate his future.

In an interview with Kevin Eck of the Baltimore Sun, Angle said, “I believe that you’re not going to see much more of Kurt Angle.”

“Financially, I’m fine,” he said.. “The hard part about leaving wrestling is I’ll miss it. I have a couple of food companies now and I’m doing movies. If I do retire, I think it’ll be a retirement match, and then a part-time schedule. It’s so hard for wrestlers to leave the ring. It’s difficult and I’ve given it thought. I have one year left on my contract with TNA and then I will evaluate from there.”

Angle says his knees, lower back, and neck are “always stiff,” but he hasn’t felt this good in a decade.

“I think this is probably the best I’ve felt, and it has a lot to do with the reduced work schedule in TNA where they’re not using me at every house show,” Angle said. “So having that lighter schedule has allowed my body to recuperate more.”

Angle needs to scale back the physicality of his in-ring style if he wants to continue wrestling, but he doesn’t know if he’s capable of that.

“Many people have told me, including Vince McMahon himself, that my work style is too intense; too aggressive. I don’t know if I can ‘work smarter,’ if you want to put it that way,” he said. “I learned from wrestlers like Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit, who were under-sized, to make up for that by working with much more intensity.”

Angle also talked about his movie career, which stars in TNA he thinks have what it takes to carry the company into the future and more.

Luna is survived by two sons, Joshua and Van, as well as a granddaughter, Lauren.

Vachon was recently in the news after a house fire destroyed much of her old wrestling memorabilia. Mick Foley started a campaign via Twitter for fans to send memorabilia to her. She had been staying with her mother in the past few weeks.

We express our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Luna Vachon.

ROH Owner Talks About Tyler Black Leaving, Bryan, Homicide

2

Ring of Honor owner Cary Silkin joined The Wheelhouse (Wheelhouseradio.com) on Thursday August 26th to promote the upcoming Glory By Honor IX IPPV live in New York City’s Manhattan Center on September the 11th on GoFightLive.tv.

The card is headlined by ROH World Champion Tyler Black taking on Roderick Strong for the ROH World Championship with Terry Funk as the Special Guest referee, the Kings of Wrestling vs. the debutng Charlie Hass & Shelton Benjamin, Colt Cabana & El Generico vs. Kevin Steen & Steve Corino in a double Chain match and more! For more information visit ROHWrestling.com

The following are some quotes from The Wheelhouse’s interview with Cary Silkin:

Tyler Black leaving ROH for WWE: “I’m angry on losing a talent like Tyler Black and hope that he’s is going to do well. But one good thing Bower (host of The Wheelhouse) is I’m used to this having gone through it with a number of guys. They thought Ring of Honor was finished last September…when Nigel and Bryan simultaneously left, that was a hell of a blow. We can go on and on, CM Punk, Matt Sydal, Samoa Joe, Homicide and so on and so forth. But somehow we always come out on the other side ok…I hate to see Tyler leave but he’s not done yet.”

Homicide possibly returning to ROH: “Sure there’s a possibility. He can’t participate; he has a clause where he can’t compete till sometime until the middle of September…but we would love to have Homicide back in ROH…he has rich history in Ring of Honor and I hope we can do something with him down the road.”

Was Bryan Danielson Contacted to Return to ROH? “Yes there were. I had a feeling there was something going on and no one is going to ever say for sure. But we spoke to Bryan and it just didn’t jive with the offers we made to him and his counter offers and this and that. There were some indications to me that he wasn’t going to be along very long. He’s a guy that deserves the best there is no doubt about it and I’m glad for him…Had he been available were would have certainly spoken to him but he didn’t indicate that and we wish him the best.”

SyFy Filming At WWE Developmental – For NXT Season 3?

7

The SyFy network once again had their TV cameras at the WWE developmental tapings this week filming matches.

Based on who wrestled at the tapings, you could speculate as to who might be on season 3 of NXT.

Superstars that wrestled and haven’t previously appeared on NXT included Xavier Woods, Idol Stevens, Bo Rotunda, Richie Steamboat, Wes Brisco, Tag Team Champions Johnny Curtis & Derrick Bateman, Hunico & Epico and FCW Heavyweight Champion Mason Ryan.

There have yet to be Diva Rookies on NXT, but we’ve heard that the idea is being strongly considered for Season 3. Divas in action included Aksana, AJ Lee, Livianna and FCW Divas Champion Naomi Night.

The Florida Championship Wrestling website recently confirmed that it will be holding live events in the coming weeks featuring the stars of “NXT Season 3,” so perhaps we’ll see NXT Season 3 on SyFy in some capacity this fall.

Stephanie McMahon & Triple H Welcome Their Third Child

24

Stephanie McMahon gave birth to her third child Wednesday, a baby girl.

Linda McMahon confirmed earlier this year on her Twitter account that Stephanie was pregnant with her third child after she appeared visibly pregnant at a rally event for her Senate campaign.

It was speculated at the time that Stephanie would deliver the baby in August.

McMahon and husband Triple H already have two daughters; Aurora Rose Levesque (born July 24, 2006) and Murphy Claire (born July 28, 2008).

Congratulations to the entire McMahon family!

Lance Cade’s Father Says Linda McMahon Disrespected His Family

7

Harley McNaught, father of former WWE performer Lance McNaught (a/k/a Lance Cade), responded to Linda McMahon’s recent statements regarding his deceased son.

McMahon claimed to the Connecticut Post last week that she “might have met him once” when asked if she knew the former WWE Tag Team Champion.

Reiterating the details of the WWE’s Wellness Program, she then told reporters that World Wrestling Entertainment can no more be held accountable for deaths of performers “than a film studio could have prevented Heath Ledger’s death”.

“Who knows what causes people to have addictions and do what they do?” she added.

Her flippant response has left Harley and his family furious.

“I’ve been with him on two different WWE functions where she came up to him and knew him by name,” McNaught said in an interview with TheDay.com.

“She disrespected him,” McNaught said. “She disrespected my family.”

A McMahon campaign spokesman said it “certainly wasn’t Linda’s intent to diminish any additional interaction she may have had” with McNaught.

“WWE has nearly 600 employees and about 140 performers, and I think it’s understandable that Linda may not recollect every interaction she’s had, particularly given the fact that she’s personally met with thousands of voters since resigning her position at WWE in September,” said Ed Patru. “Linda’s a very kind and sympathetic person, but she is human.”

McNaught added that Lance, “would have cut his arm off for Vince McMahon, but it wasn’t there in return. [Vince] don’t care any more than the man in the moon for them, other than as dollar signs.”

Charlie Haas Talks Drugs In WWE, Lance Cade & More

14

Alex Marvez of Scrippsnews.com conducted a phone interview with former WWE superstar Charlie Haas last week.

Haas, who was released from WWE in February after almost a decade with the company, says despite his athletic ability, other forces held him back from being a main event performer.  “When you’ve got guys on top who hate you and are burying you behind your back, you’re not going to go anywhere.”

Here are some highlights of what he said about:

Working With Shelton Benjamin Again: “I’m not only excited to be back with Shelton, but also being able to have the handcuffs taken off so we can wrestle the way we want to. We’re going to work for a company that appreciates wrestling and wants you to go out and steal the show. You don’t have to play political games. This is going to be a great match.”

Drug Use In WWE: “WWE is cleaning things up. There was a group of guys who were addicted to all that stuff before the wellness program. They thought you need to do pills, drugs or whatever to live the life of a wrestler. People are being really educated now that you don’t have to do that anymore.”

Lance Cade’s Death “With each individual person it’s different. Some have addictive personalities that might be in their genetic code. A lot of times, it’s an individual decision. I get angry about a lot of it. Once you’re an addict, you don’t see how badly you’re hurting people. Eddie’s kids won’t know what it’s like to have their daddy in their life. Lance will never be there to walk his daughter down the aisle or see her graduate. It really breaks my heart.”

Carlito Explains Late 2009 Disappearance, Keibler Splits With BF

13

— Fans may recall Carlito mysteriously disappearing from World Wrestling Entertainment airwaves for a few months late last year shortly after his tag team partnership with his brother had ceased. The former WWE Superstar explained today on Twitter that he was removed from television last fall because he was sent to a rehabilitation facility to be evaluated for drug addiction. He says he passed the center’s various tests and it was determined that he was not a drug addict. He was then sent to a psychiatrist, which he felt was “a waste of time.” Carlito remained off television until November because management felt he was “very angry” at work.

“Ha, I was off tv in late 2009 because I was sent on a lil “sabatical,” said Carlito, responding to fan asking about his disappearance last year. “And by “sabatical” I mean I was sent to a rehab facility for a few days to be evaluated. I passed, they said I wasn’t an addict. Then I was sent to a psychiatrist…a waste of time! Then they kept me at home because they felt I was very angry at work! I was!”

— Former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler has split with longtime boyfriend, actor Geoff Stults, reports the New York Post. The story notes that Keibler and Stults discussed getting engaged last year, but they have since gone their separate ways.

— Former TNA X Division Champion Petey Williams turns 29 years old today. It is said that he is currently working as a personal trainer in Michigan.

Superstars Preview, Carlito Free From WWE, HBK’s New Glasses

2

— Only two matches are advertised for this week’s episode of WWE Superstars on WGN America — Chris Masters vs. Drew McIntyre and Goldust vs. William Regal.

— At the request of the fans, Shawn Michaels has posted a video showing off his new glasses — in a manner that only he can.

— Former WWE developmental wrestler Jenny Quinn was backstage at last Thursday’s Florida Championship Wrestling show in Tampa. The former Playboy model was released last February.

— Carlito’s ninety-day no-compete clause with World Wrestling Entertainment expired over the weekend. He is now free to join any wrestling promotion with national television exposure.

Update On Team 3D’s TNA Contracts Expiring – WWE Bound?

21

To update the news that Team 3D’s contracts with TNA Wrestling recently expired … We can confirm that Team 3D did not appear at this week’s TNA iMPACT tapings and are not booked for the upcoming No Surrender pay-per-view on September 5th.

The general feeling within TNA is that Team 3D will sign new deals and the company has them penciled in for a match at Bound For Glory in October.

Regarding a WWE return, there have been people within WWE trying to get The Dudleys to return. A “Best of” DVD package for the tag team has been discussed as one of the “bargaining chips” that could be used to lure them in, but a return to WWE is just talk at this point and nothing anyone with power has made a call on.

ROH President Cary Silkin Asking Fans For Feedback

6

The following was sent in to SEScoops this afternoon from Ring of Honor President Cary Silkin ..

To Every Wrestling Fan,

Wrestling is an industry that is always changing and evolving. Ring of Honor was born out of that very idea. I’m humbled by every fan who has stuck with us and every new fan who has found us in the last nine years. Without you, we wouldn’t be here. I’ve been a wrestling fan for forty-five years and my first experience with the business was being fascinated as a kid with guys like Bruno Sammartino, Fred Blassie, The Sheik and countless others. I remember rushing to the candy store to buy the new wrestling magazines which were the only source of information for a fan who wanted to know what was going on in the wrestling world. I continued to follow the business throughout my life and somehow wound up publishing a wrestling magazine in Puerto Rico in 1999-2001 and then soon after the Ring of Honor opportunity came along.

A lot has changed with Ring of Honor in its nine years and we’re always looking to find new ways to reach out and make the brand better and more accessible. Launching the TV show on HDNet in 2009 opened ROH to more fans; as they grow we will grow. Everywhere I go, fans come up to me and let me know what they love about ROH, what they hate about ROH and what they think can be better. I love our fan base and want to expand that interaction not only with me but the company.

I’m reaching out to every ROH fan within the sound of my voice, but with it being 2010, my voice is expanding to social media. As the world evolves, so will ROH. So starting this weekend, I’ll be tweeting more often and want to hear what you like, what you don’t like, etc. When I get to the cities for our events, I’ll be offering a unique opportunity to meet me and various ROH personalities. Follow me on twitter at http://twitter.com/ROHCary, our main ROH page at http://twitter.com/ROHonHDNet, and also http://www.facebook.com/ringofhonor.

On those pages we will putting times and places we will be at before the show. First fans to show up will get tickets, merchandise, photos, and autographs. I will depend on all of you to spread the word when these messages go up; put #FindROH on twitter or share the postings on Facebook.

I’m looking forward to see how Ring of Honor evolves going forward and appreciate all of your support.

Sincerely,

Cary Silkin

WWE Seeking A Chinese Star, Alberto Del Rio, Teddy Hart

19

– Following WWE’s first live events tour of China this week, we’re hearing that WWE is very interested in recruiting new talent China. WWE has been planning to enter the Chinese market for several years, as the country’s billion plus population represents a tremendous untapped source of revenue. Much like the NBA has done with superstar center Yao Ming, WWE wants a top Chinese star on its roster. Based on the reactions from their recent tour, the feeling is that WWE can be a big success in the country, even without a native star.

– WWE newcomer Alberto Del Rio made his SmackDown debut last week, defeating former World Heavyweight champion Rey Mysterio by submission. During the match, Todd Grisham said that won a gold medal in the 1999 Pan-American Games in Greco-Roman wrestling. This is actually false. Alberto, representing Mexico, placed 4th at 211 pounds, and was one match short of winning a medal. WWE has done something similar with Jack Swagger – calling him a two-time All-American when he really was a one-time All-American.

The plan is to push Del Rio all the way as a top heel, with the idea of eventually turning him babyface in the role of WWE’s top Latin superstar.

– Teddy Hart is trying to get back in with Mexico’s AAA promotion. It’s safe to say that his attempts at getting a deal with WWE have fallen through. With Bret Hart back in WWE and the Hart Dynasty holding WWE’s new tag team championships, its unbelievable that Teddy Hart’s issues are bad enough to keep him out of WWE.

Edge To SmackDown? Animal At FCW, MVP’s New Theme

4

– For what it’s worth, RAW Superstar Edge is being advertised as a SmackDown talent by SyFy as they promote SmackDown’s network debut on October 1st. No word yet if WWE is planning on sending Edge back to Friday nights. As noted before, there has been talk of beefing up the SmackDown roster before the SyFy debut.

– Road Warrior Animal will be signing autographs at the WWE developmental show on Friday in Ft. Myers, Florida. Matches include NXT’s Alex Riley vs. Lucky Cannon and a six-man ladder match.

– MVP noted on Twitter that his new theme song will debut on SmackDown within a few weeks.

– The August 13th episode of WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown scored a 1.6 broadcast rating with 2.691 million viewers. This is the third straight week SmackDown has done a 1.6.

Chyna Bit By Poisonous Spider, Batista Appearing On NBC Show

11

– Former WWE Diva Chyna was reportedly bit by a poisonous spider this week and performed surgery on herself with a swiss army knife to treat the wound. According to TMZ.com, Chya was allegedly bitten by while changing in her bathroom. She went to her doctor, who recommended that she visit the emergency room – but because hospitalization was too expensive, she opted to perform surgery on herself. That sounds about right. You can check out the photos of Chyna’s spider bite at TMZ.com.

– Batista is the latest former WWE performer to land a role on the NBC show “Chuck.” Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello confirmed Thursday that Batista, Eric Roberts and Joel David Moore will appear in the upcoming season’s fourth episode as “Soldiers of Fortune who had a friendship with Casey dating back to the Clinton era.” According to the report, they have since gone rogue, and will be seeking revenge on their ex-comrade. Previous wrestlers who have appeared on “Chuck” include Steve Austin and Stacy Keibler. Austin will be reprising his role on the show this season as well.

(Credit to Jason Reyes & pwinsider.com)

TNA World Tag Team Champions Motor City Machine Guns defeated Generation Me in a non-title match. After the match, the Guns raised the Buck’s hands

The Original Beautiful People of Angelina Love and Velvet Sky came out to cut a promo stating that they were a unit again. They trash talked Madison Rayne. This led to Madison and the helmeted biker bodyguard coming out, with the biker girl taking off the helmet to show the mask that she wore on The Whole F’n Show. Madison mentioned how she, Angelina, and Velvet were committing copyright infringement by using The Beautiful People’s music, which she wants to own the rights to. This led to verbal insults that turned into a pull-apart brawl between all four.

Rhino called out Abyss and the two brawled. The brawl went through the Impact Zone and ended up near the area by the Spanish Announce Table. Rhino laid out Abyss with a gore

Desmond Wolfe defeated Stevie Richards via Tower of London

Something happened backstage and Angelina Love came out again and called out Madison Rayne. They started brawling around ringside before a match started which saw TNA Knockout Champion Angelina Love defeat Madison Rayne in a non-title match following her bicycle kick.

Mick Foley came out to cut a promo on Ric Flair.

TNA President Dixie Carter came out for a promo and talked about the ups and downs of TNA at this time. She asked Ric Flair to come out. Flair ended up hitting on Dixie, including asking her to “come back to the hotel.” She told Flair that she was going to suspend him but not the rest of Fortune for his actions. This led to all of Fortune walking down to the ring, and Flair threatened Dixie. It looked like Dixie’s husband got in the ring to try to defend his wife, but he was beaten down by Fortune. Hulk Hogan, Jeff Hardy, The Pope, Kurt Angle, and Mr. Anderson came to the ring. Hogan says that he gets partial say due to running things with Dixie. Using this power, Hogan revokes the suspension for Flair. Hogan says it will be his four versus Flair’s four tonight. Flair and Hogan traded words before EV 2.0 ran out to brawl with Fortune.

Samoa Joe defeated Orlando Jordan with the Muscle Buster. After the match, Jeff Jarrett came out and put over how the people like Samoa Joe and himself helped build TNA. Jarrett asks Joe to be in his corner for his match with Kevin Nash later in the night. He wants Joe to prevent Sting from getting involved. Joe takes the mic and tells Jarrett that he doesn’t choose sides. Joe says that he has one side that he is on and it is his own side. Joe leaves as Kevin Nash walks down to the ring.

Kevin Nash defeated Jeff Jarrett. There was a ref bump and Jarrett had the match won with the stroke. Sting came down and laid out Jarrett with the bat allowing Nash to get the pinfall.

Eric Bischoff came out and asked Sting what he wanted. Sting said he wanted Hogan. Hogan snuck into the ring from the crowd and laid out Sting with a chair making the save for Jarrett.

Beer Money defeated the FBI (Tony Luke and Guido) with the DWI on Guido. FBI hardly got in any offense whatsoever during the match. After the match, James Storm and Robert Roode continued to beat down the FBI and hit Guido with the beer bottle, causing him to bleed. Roode and Storm then hit another DWI on Guido.

In the main event, Kurt Angle, The Pope, Mr. Anderson, and Jeff Hardy defeated AJ Styles, Kazarian, Douglas Williams, and Matt Morgan. The finish came when Kurt Angle hit the Angle Slam on Kazarian, but Angle did not know that Pope had made the blind tag and Pope covered Kazarian for the victory. Pope and Angle argued after the match and that led to Hardy and Anderson trying to break it up.

EV 2.0 came down to the ring to brawl with Fortune.

This was a fun match that had a really hot sprint of everyone hitting their moves towards the end.
