Olympic Boxer Delicious Orie Rejects WWE to Chase Boxing Dreams

0

British Olympic boxer d has revealed that WWE approached him with a contract offer, even inviting him to their Performance Center in Florida before he ultimately decided to continue his boxing journey.

Speaking with IFL TV, Orie shared details of his experience with WWE, which first reached out to him during the Olympic Games.

“They contacted me during the Olympic Games to come down and see what it’s about,” Orie explained. “I got offered a contract … you build up a name for yourself, a character, choose whether you’re a babyface or a heel … then, over time, you can be confident enough to get on SmackDown or Raw.”

Orie was impressed by the professionalism and confidence of WWE’s athletes but ultimately chose to pursue his boxing career instead.

“When I went out there, it was just fantastic. I got to meet so many amazing wrestlers,” he said. “The biggest thing I took away was confidence—how to express yourself and your feelings to the mass audience.”

Despite the opportunity, Orie took time to reflect on his future and concluded that boxing remained his true passion.

“I was thinking to myself, what do I want out of life? What do I want to look back on when I’m 50 or 60? Boxing, I believe, will really do that for me,” Orie stated. “Wrestling is always there—the door is always open—but my main purpose in life is to do it in the boxing ring.”

Now signed with Queensbury Promotions, Orie is set to make his professional debut, choosing to chase championship glory inside the ring rather than the squared circle.

WWE No Longer Tests Wrestlers for Marijaana, Says Minchin

0

WWE has quietly changed its drug testing policy, officially removing marijuana from its list of banned substances. This change was confirmed by Mia ‘Michin’ Yim during a recent appearance on the Speak Easy Podcast, where she discussed the role cannabis plays in her recovery routine.

“Marijuana used to be on the drug list, and they took that off years ago. So when I get home on Saturdays, I’ll do that and just chill out all day.”

WWE allowing marijuana marks a major shift from the company’s previous stance where wrestlers could face fines or worse for testing positive.

In 2006, Rob Van Dam was suspended after being found with 18 grams of marijuana and five Vicodin pills during a police stop. The issue would see WWE quickly force Rob to lose both the WWE and ECW World Championships, accolades he’d never hold again in his career.

The Godfather On Vince McMahon’s Views On Marijuana

On the podcast, Yim explained the importance of recovery in professional wrestling, noting that maintaining her body is crucial given the toll the industry puts on her body.

“I go to a chiropractor once a week, cryotherapy once a week, a massage depending on how I feel… but if I had a hardcore match, I’m taking the whole weekend off.”

WWE accepting the use of marijuana aligns with the broader trend in sports and entertainment, with leagues including the NBA and NFL relaxing their stance. Many athletes have advocated for marijuana as a safer alternative to opioids for pain management, and WWE’s decision could signal a more progressive approach to wrestler wellness.

With WrestleMania season underway, Superstars are working tirelessly to prove they deserve to be on the two-night card in Las Vegas, and this policy shift will allow for Yim and others to help their bodies recovery through marijuana usage. As Yim put it, “If I’m not taking care of my body, my career isn’t going to last.”

Jade Cargill Back at the Performance Center Training for WWE Return

0

WWE Superstar Jade Cargill was back at the Performance Center in Orlando, FL on Monday, according to PWInsider. The belief is that creative plans for her return will be set very soon, though her exact return date remains uncertain. She has reportedly been training at the Performance Center for over a month in preparation for her comeback.

Cargill has been absent from WWE TV since the November 22 episode of WWE SmackDown, but that appears to be changing. A shocking moment occurred during a Women’s United States Championship Triple Threat qualifying match featuring Bianca Belair, Chelsea Green, and Blair Davenport. Midway through the match.

The arena’s video screen revealed that Belair’s tag team partner, Jade Cargill, had been attacked backstage. The footage showed Cargill’s head being slammed into a car windshield, leaving it visibly shattered. The identity of the attacker remains unknown, though speculation suggests it could be someone linked to the ongoing match.

While off TV, Cargill has continued her training and is gradually working her way back. Initially, the expectation was that she would be out for an extended period due to a legitimate injury, with estimates suggesting at least three months or longer. However, conflicting reports have emerged regarding whether her absence is injury-related or purely a storyline.

WWE 2K25: Released Wrestlers Who Are Still Included in the Game

0

WWE released several names from its roster in recent weeks, but those cut from the company aren’t entirely gone just yet. Instead, several names who’ve been given the dreaded pink slip will still be playable as part of WWE 2K25.

Released talent who will be playable in WWE 2K25 include:

  • Duke Hudson
  • Akam
  • Rezar
  • Blair Davenport
  • Cedric Alexander
  • Luke Gallows
  • Karl Anderson
  • Giovanni Vinci
  • Sonya Deville
  • Isla Dawn
  • Elektra Lopez

Paul Ellering was also among those released from WWE. While the Hall of Famer/Final Testament alum won’t be a playable character in WWE 2K25, he will be a non-playable manager in the game.

The inclusion of these released Superstars demonstrate how quickly things can change in WWE. While these talents hoped that WWE 2K25 would just be the latest in a series of games they would be a part of, next month’s instalment will most likely be the last time they are playable in a WWE video game.

These released talents will be part of the largest roster in the history of WWE video games with stars from the past and present. With over 300 names confirmed for the game, in addition to Wyatt Sicks-themed DLC, fans will be able to recreate their favorite matches or create never-before-seen contests in the upcoming game.

WWE 2K25 will release on March 14, with the Deadman and Bloodline Editions of the game launching a week earlier on March 7. With WWE 2K Mobile also announced, this year is shaping up to be a massive one for wrestling fans and gamers alike.

Lyra Valkyria Eyes WrestleMania 41 Dream Match Against Asuka

0

WWE’s first Women’s Intercontinental Champion, Lyra Valkyria, has made an impressive impact since joining the main roster in 2024. After reaching the Queen of the Ring tournament finals and capturing the inaugural Women’s Intercontinental Championship, she now sets her sights on WrestleMania 41.

In a recent interview with Pubity, Valkyria expressed her desire to face Asuka at the upcoming event in Las Vegas this April.

“A match that got away from me would be facing Asuka,” Valkyria revealed. “That would be pretty massive. When I was first debuting on Monday Night Raw, I was supposed to face her at Backlash in France, but she got hurt. Instead, I wrestled Dakota Kai, which was poetic since we later had a history-making moment together. But facing Asuka is definitely a match I’d love to circle back to.”

WWE’s biggest event of the year will take place across two nights on April 19-20 at Allegiant Stadium, where Valkyria hopes to make her WrestleMania debut memorable.

WWE Star Asuka’s X/Twitter Account Hacked

Rising Through the Ranks

Valkyria’s impressive run includes victories over prominent stars like Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky, Kairi Sane, and Becky Lynch. Her NXT Women’s Championship victory against Lynch in 2023 proved to be a career-defining moment.

Lynch, a future Hall of Famer, has been instrumental in Valkyria’s development. “Becky has always made it clear that she’s there for me,” Valkyria shared. “She told me to never doubt what I bring to the table because it’s more than I realize. Betting on myself is the best advice she’s given me.”

With Lynch’s rumored return to the ring, speculation has grown about a potential all-Irish championship clash at WrestleMania.

Jake Roberts Names Andre the Giant, “The Smartest Man in Wrestling”

0

Andre the Giant is known for his sheer size and strength, but according to Jake “The Snake” Roberts, he also boasted a supersized wrestling IQ. On Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway, Roberts recalled facing Andre in Grand Rapids. During a moment when Andre was in control, Roberts was surprised that the giant backed away in fear.

Roberts was confused—until he turned and saw a 12-year-old girl standing in the ring, holding his snake. Rather than break character, Andre improvised by rolling out of the ring, grabbing a microphone and demanding security arrest the child. Andre’s performance clearly worked, as cops got in the ring and grabbed the girl, who was crying while Andre laughed in character.

“Andre was a thinker. He saw a perfect moment and made it work.”

Roberts and Andre would feud on TV with the French giant being petrified of Jake’s snake Damian. Despite initial concerns about working with Andre, Roberts is thrilled that fans still remember their program to this day.

“I thought, ‘There’s no way in hell I can make this match work’… Most guys would have just thrown the snake out of the ring. Andre turned it into something that people still talk about today.”

The Undertaker, also a massive Andre fan, was awestruck as he heard of the Giant’s in-ring wisdom and described Andre’s ability to adapt on the fly “next level storytelling.” Even decades after Andre’s tragically young passing in 1993, stories like these prove why the Giant wasn’t just an in-ring spectacle, but a mastermind of the craft.

How Vince McMahon Nearly Screwed The Undertaker at WrestleMania

0

The Undertaker’s WrestleMania legacy was a staple of WWE for decades, but nearly took a a disastrous turn early on thanks to Vince McMahon.

On his Six Feet Under podcast, Mark Calaway recalled McMahon being furious with him over his WrestleMania 8 match with Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts over a change to the finish.

“‘What the hell was that?! Nobody can see it!’, he recalled Vince yelling.

He eviscerated me. Oh my gosh, he lit me up.”

The planned finish was for The Undertaker to hit a Tombstone on Roberts in the ring, eaning the Deadman his second WrestleMania win. However, in the heat of the moment, he decided to deliver it on the floor instead.

While Calaway, still a relative newcomer to WWE, took the verbal onslaught, the veteran Roberts knew it was wise to avoid the irate McMahon.

“I didn’t shower. I just grabbed my stuff and got the hell out.”

Undertaker admitted that the moment taught him a hard lesson about following direct instructions in WWE. From that night on, he made sure to double-check finishes with McMahon before heading to the ring.

The Phenom’s WrestleMania streak would continue on until 2014, when Brock Lesnar conquered the Undertaker in New Orleans. Though McMahon was an obvious key part in the Deadman’s future success at the event, this story is a reminder of how one small misstep could have changed everything.

The WCW Contract Dispute That Drove Jake Roberts to Addiction

0

Jake “The Snake” Roberts has had one of the most tumultuous careers in professional wrestling history. On Six Feet Under with Mark Callaway, Roberts revealed how a WCW contract dispute triggered his worst personal spiral—and ultimately fueled his cocaine addiction.

In 1992, Roberts had negotiated a multi-million dollar deal with WCW’s Kip Frye. However, before he could sign, Vince McMahon enforced a 90-day no-compete clause as part of his WWF exit. When Roberts’ non-compete expired, Frye was gone, and Bill Watts had taken over WCW.

Watts discarded Roberts’ original contract and offered him a fraction of the deal, telling him:

“You and I both know you can’t go back. You’re gonna take what we give you.”

Roberts accepted, but WCW then stripped him of his signature gimmick by banning his snake.

“They took my gimmick away. Now I’m back to zero. What the f*** can I do?” he recalled.

That was the breaking point. “That right there pushed me off the deep end, brother. I really dug into the coke after that.”

Roberts acknowledged that his subsequent 20-year cocaine addiction nearly killed him, but at the time, he was just trying to cope with the loss of his career.

“Not many people have a 20-year cocaine career… by the grace of God, I’m not dead.”

His exit from WCW triggered years of struggles with substance abuse, financial problems, and personal demons. Looking back, Roberts recognizes that wrestling politics and addiction were his greatest adversaries.

“Jealousy in wrestling has killed more people than war ever has,” he said.

Roberts’ story illustrates how a single career setback can have devastating personal consequences—and how the wrestling industry has often failed to protect its biggest stars.

Buddy Matthews Suffers Ankle Injury at AEW Grand Slam Australia

0

AEW star Buddy Matthews suffered an ankle injury during his match against Kazuchika Okada at AEW Grand Slam Australia.

The injury occurred as Matthews was entering the ring at the beginning of the match, which ultimately contributed to his defeat.

The situation gained attention when Matthews briefly posted, then deleted, a social media message suggesting his injury was connected to AEW’s ring size controversy.

“#AEWGrandSlamAustralia – If it wasn’t a 16×16 SHT wrestling ring!” he wrote. “1: Wouldn’t have destroyed my ankle on my entrance due to holes in the padding. 2: Okada wouldn’t have been able to put his foot on the rope & I’d be champion. Sht happens…”

His wife, WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, has acknowledged the injury on social media, and recent photos show Matthews using crutches during their honeymoon celebrations.

The timing is particularly unfortunate as Matthews and Ripley are currently celebrating their recent marriage. Despite the injury, the newlyweds are continuing with their honeymoon plans, though Matthews is now navigating the festivities with mobility assistance.

WWE Star Calls for Total Divas Revival, Names Dream Cast Members

0

WWE Superstar Naomi envisions a new generation of Total Divas, sharing her excitement for potential cast members during a recent Casual Conversations interview.

“It was great to document us in the early days,” reflected the original cast member. “Now, it would be incredible to see the new generation at the start of their careers.”

When discussing potential cast members, Naomi quickly highlighted rising star Tiffany Stratton.

“Tiffany is such an interesting person. Fans would love to see that other side of her outside the ring. She’s young, talented, and just starting out—imagine capturing that journey.”

The veteran performer emphasized how the show’s focus on real-life WWE couples resonated with viewers.

“One of the best things about Total Divas was seeing our personal lives. Managing relationships in this business is tough, and I think fans would love to see how different couples handle it.”

As for her own potential return, Naomi expressed enthusiasm about reuniting with fellow original cast members.

“Some of us are still here, and I think we’d need to make some cameos!” she said.

With WWE’s reality TV portfolio continuing to expand through shows like Total Bellas and Love & WWE, a Total Divas revival could be perfectly timed to showcase the company’s newest generation of female Superstars.

Naomi on Changing Her Entrance Music: “I Miss My Old Theme So Bad”

0

WWE Superstar Naomi recently opened up about changing her entrance music, expressing strong nostalgia for her former theme song “Amazing” during an appearance on Casual Conversations.

“I miss my old theme so bad. I didn’t want to change it,” Naomi admitted, acknowledging the deep connection both she and fans had developed with the song that accompanied her “Feel the Glow” persona.

Naomi’s classic entrance theme, “Amazing”

While discussing her new entrance music, Naomi maintained a balanced perspective. “I like my new one, but fans and I were really connected to the old one,” she explained. “That song was nostalgic. We been through some things with that one!” she added with a laugh.

The sentiment resonates with many WWE fans who have long associated “Amazing” with Naomi’s dynamic presence. Given WWE’s occasional practice of reviving classic entrance themes, fans hoping for the return of Naomi’s beloved original music may still have reason for optimism.

Naomi Pressures AJ Lee to Return to WWE: “I Can’t Retire Until She Comes Back!”

0

Could AJ Lee be gearing up for a WWE comeback? Naomi certainly hopes so. During her appearance on Casual Conversations, Naomi revealed she’s been actively campaigning for AJ Lee’s return—so much so that she’s even enlisted CM Punk to help persuade his wife.

“I be harassing her husband about that all the time! I told him, ‘You need to tell her I can’t retire until she comes back!'” Naomi said.

With CM Punk back in WWE, speculation has been swirling about a possible AJ Lee return. Chants for the former Divas Champion have echoed at recent events, particularly during the Royal Rumble, fueling fan hopes.

Naomi acknowledged the demand, saying it speaks volumes about AJ’s legacy.

“For her to be gone over a decade and still be missed that much? That tells you what she did for wrestling. She was special.”

As for whether AJ will actually step back into the ring, Naomi made her stance clear.

“Even if it’s just a quick little show, we starving, sis! We need it to happen!”

Naomi and AJ Lee’s paths first crossed in Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) in 2009-2010, where they both competed for the FCW Divas Championship. AJ Lee won the title from Naomi in December 2010.

Their careers continued to intersect when they both participated in the third season of NXT in 2010, with AJ Lee finishing in third place. After moving to WWE’s main roster, they faced each other multiple times, including a notable match in August 2013 when AJ Lee, as Divas Champion, successfully defended her title against several competitors including Naomi.

The ball may be in AJ Lee’s court, but with Naomi and the WWE Universe behind her, the door for a return has never been more open.

Naomi Vehemently Denies Attacking Jade Cargill: “I Am Not that Evil”

0

WWE Superstar Naomi has firmly denied fan speculation that she was behind the shocking attack on Jade Cargill, dismissing the rumors as “insane.” During an interview on Casual Conversations, Naomi expressed frustration over conspiracy theories linking her to the attack, which has left Jade sidelined.

“I don’t get it. All I do is run in, help my friends, even put my own self in danger and get beat up. Like, what? The drama these people make up means nothing,” Naomi said.

Jade Cargill Attacked

Naomi did, however, have a few names in mind when asked who she thought might be responsible.

“Liv and Raquel… or maybe someone from NXT. They were slick with it, though. Jade had a target on her back—her rise was quick and fast, and they got her just as fast,” she speculated.

With the mystery still unsolved, Naomi emphasized that she had nothing to gain from betraying Jade and Bianca Belair.

“I only stepped in to help Bianca so she wouldn’t have to relinquish the title. It makes no sense why y’all would think it’s me!”

As Jade’s return looms, the identity of her attacker remains one of WWE’s most intriguing storylines. Naomi is adamant that she isn’t the culprit, but fans will have to wait and see who the real villain is.

Catch Naomi’s additional comments about WWE’s Partnership with TNA Wrestling, the possibility of AJ Lee returning and more.

Miro’s First Wrestling Appearance Since Leaving AEW Announced

0

Miro was granted his release from AEW last week, making him a free agent and fueling speculation that he may return to WWE. Now, he has booked his first post-AEW appearance.

Qatar Pro Wrestling has announced that Miro will appear at their events on February 21 and 22 at Aspire Ladies Sport Hall in Doha, Qatar. The event will also feature Mustafa Ali, Nic Nemeth, Bobby Lashley, and 35 other wrestlers, with matches scheduled throughout the show.

There is strong belief that WWE is interested in bringing Miro back, as he previously worked there before joining AEW. WWE has reportedly discussed creative plans for him as well as Malaki Black, though it remains unclear whether he has signed a contract or when he might return. This is despite WWE legend Teddy Long’s controversial view that WWE will have no interest in taking back Miro or Malakai Black.

Miro had been absent from AEW since Worlds End 2023. He initially signed a lucrative seven-figure deal with the company in September 2020, which was set to expire in spring 2022. However, he later signed a four-year extension, keeping him under contract until spring 2026.

Despite being healthy and ready to compete, discussions about his creative direction reportedly stalled in 2024. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, talks eventually went “radio silent” months before his release. It was to the point that AEW sources indicated that Miro had not been discussed creatively for six months, with most believing he would not return to the company.

WWE Superstar Asuka has announced that her X / Twitter account was hacked over the weekend. She addressed the situation through an urgent video message on her KanaChanTV YouTube channel, warning fans about potential scams and suspicious content appearing on her account.

The hacker posted cryptocurrency-related content on her account, specifically promoting “Solana” with the hashtag “$asuka”.

A “community note” was quickly added to the suspicious tweet, warning users not to engage with crypto links or scams.

This follows a pattern of cybersecurity challenges Asuka has faced. In January 2025, she reported multiple daily login attempts from various locations including Texas, New Jersey, and Colorado. She has also been actively fighting against online harassment and porch pirates.

0

Romance is in the air this morning, as WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley and AEW star Buddy Matthews are beginning their honeymoon. The reigning Women’s World Champion will miss tonight’s WWE Raw as a result.

Rhea Ripley and Buddy Matthews’ romance began when they met in WWE in 2021, while Matthews was performing for WWE under the name Buddy Murphy. The couple went public with their relationship in 2022, and Matthews proposed to Ripley during a vacation in Cocoa Beach, Florida in August 2023.

They tied the knot in a lavish all-black-themed wedding ceremony on June 23, 2024, where Ripley wore a stunning black strapless dress and Matthews complemented her in an all-black suit.

Despite working for rival companies – Ripley in WWE and Matthews in AEW – the couple maintains a strong and supportive relationship. Ripley has emphasized that Matthews understands and supports her career trajectory, noting that he’s comfortable with her prominent position in the wrestling industry. After their wedding last year, their busy schedules prevented them from taking a honeymoon, but they are finally able to enjoy this special time together following AEW’s Grand Slam event in their home country of Australia.

Former AEW Star Reveals Nerve Damage After Recent Match

0

It’s always said that a talent is two inches away from catastrophe while wrestling a match and former AEW star Joey Janela recently found this out firsthand.

The Bad Boy revealed on Twitter recently that he is dealing with a ruptured bicep after his most recent indie match. Not only that, the 35-year-old has also suffered nerve damage which has resulted in him losing feeling in a couple of his fingers:

In the hospital, just got to see a doctor looks like now after my match yesterday and attack today by Atticus, I not only have a complete ruptured bicep but also nerve damage to the arm that’s affecting the my arm all the way down to the hand.

I currently have no feeling in my ring and pinky finger. We are looking for options but it seems a major surgery is imminent in the morning. I’m sorry to everyone, things aren’t looking too good.”

Joey Janela has been active in the indepedent circuit and a regular for Game Changer Wrestling in recent times. His last match came at Saturday’s GCW event where Janela suffered a loss at the hands of Atticus Cogar.

The former GCW World Champion was one of the first talents signed by AEW upon its inception in 2019. He had high profile matches with names such as Jon Moxley, Kenny Omega and Darby Allin during his stint with the company that ended in 2022.

SEScoops wishes a speedy recovery to Joey Janela.

Mickie James Shares How WWE LFG Differs From Tough Enough

0

WWE LFG is the promotion’s newest show seeking to hone new talent, but Mickie James has rejected comparisons to Tough Enough. Speaking to Going Ringside, James, one of the show’s legendary trainers, shared how WWE LFG differs from the promotion’s most iconic show about young talent trying to earn a contract.

“It’s so different and dynamic [from Tough Enough.] You’ve never seen Undertaker as a coach before. In fact, this show is the first time—he says it openly—that it’s the first time he’s actually coached young, hungry wrestlers.”

Tough Enough launched in 2001 with its most reason season taking place in 2015. Notable alum from the show include The Miz, John Morrison, Maven, Nidia, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, and Chelsea Green.

The introduction of WWE LFG (which premiered on Sunday, February 16, at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on A&E) marks the promotion’s latest effort to hone new talent. The new show comes as WWE prepares for the launch of its Evolve show, set to premiere next month. Not only that, but WWE NXT and the Next-In-Line program continues to generate new talent for WWE, keeping the company’s pool of potential stars filled to its brim.

James has been joined by The Undertaker, Booker T, and Bubba Ray Dudley in mentoring the ‘future greats’ though in-ring battles and backstage challenges. With Triple H and Shawn Michaels also playing a role on the show, it remains to be seen which young wrestler earns a contract with WWE.

Tommy Dreamer Explains Why A 5 Star Match ‘Does Not Exist’ In His World

0

Tommy Dreamer believes a 5-star rating should not exist in wrestling because entertainment is subjective and different people can like different things.

The 5-star rating system made famous by wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer has always been a controversial topic. On one hand, it provides a spotlight to young talents trying to make a name, but on the other side legends like Kurt Angle never earning a top rating makes people question the integrity of the whole thing.

The ratings system was the talk of the latest episode of Busted Open Radio. Discussing the topic, Tommy Dreamer explained that a 5-star rating does not exist in his world because the quality of a match is a subjective opinion:

“A five-star match to me is nonexistent. It doesn’t exist in my world and nor should it ever. I’ve never had a five-star match according to one person. But I will tell you this, you go by the crowd, right? Dave, I’ve been to a lot of wrestling shows as a fan.

I’ve watched so many wrestling shows. I would say Hulk Hogan had a five-star match every night. Once that leg hit, everybody went nuts. When he was a babyface and your WWE champion. Hulk Hogan had a five-star match every night because everybody went home excited.”

Beauty Is In Eye Of The Beholder: Tommy Dreamer

Tommy Dreamer noted that Dave has always been respectful to him and he values Meltzer’s opinion as a historian. However, Dreamer explained that different people can like different things and a 5-star match is one that leaves fans satisfied:

“Again, I have nothing against Dave Meltzer. I do have everything against this, well, it’s a five-star match. Dave, I do a lot of Indies. I have seen matches that I watched and I’m like, ‘Oh my god, how are people reacting to this? And then at the end of the match, people are cheering for these two unknown guys to me that aren’t very very good, but yet the fans liked it. So then it was a five-star match.

Because, like you said, Dave, I’m not a fan of gore in movies or taking it from Rhyno. However, people love gore. Jerry Lynn listens to like that death metal, and I’m like, that doesn’t appeal to me. But it appeals, and then if you ever see go to those concerts, there’s people that, hey, they sell out freaking massive stadiums. I’m not a fan of soccer. Yet, there’s people who love soccer. It’s all like you said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I have never seen Ray Mysterio have a bad match, and I’ve watched Ray Mysterio since his United States debut. Ray Mysterio has had a five-star match every single time he went out because I’ve never seen him have a bad match. Can you dissect it? Can you do this? Yes, but at the end of the day, if you paid your ticket and the fans are happy for what they saw, that’s a five-star night.”

Jordynne Grace Aims On Making History After NXT Vengeance Day

0

Jordynne Grace has arrived in WWE NXT and now the former TNA Knockouts World Champion has his sights set on a historic first. On Instagram, Grace declared that she will be the first wrestler in history to hold NXT and TNA Women’s gold.

Grace has already made waves in her efforts to capture a title in NXT. While still holding the TNA Knockouts World Championship, Grace challenged Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Title at Battleground 2024 but was unsuccessful. At the recent NXT Vengeance Day, Grace confronted NXT Women’s Champion Giulia and new NXT Women’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer, signalling her desire to hold gold. The show marked Grace’s first appearance for NXT as a WWE Superstar.

While Grace plans to be the first woman to hold TNA and NXT gold, she does have competition. Cora Jade has declared her interest in the TNA Knockouts Title. If succesful, Jade, a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion, would be the history-maker, instead of Grace.

Grace was a leading woman in TNA Wrestling and plans to re-establish herself at the top of the card now as part of WWE NXT. Whether it is Giulia or Vaquer that the Juggernaut targets first, it may be just a matter of time before Jordynne Grace holds gold in NXT and makes history along the way.

The Nation of Domination were a force to be reckoned with during the Attitude Era and reunited this past weekend in Manchester, England. The quartet of D’Lo Brown, Mark Henry, The Godfather, and Ron Simmons were all guests at For The Love of Wrestling. On X, the convention’s organizers shared a clip of the group’s entrance.

The group didn’t just make a star-studded entrance, but also fielded questions from fans during a Q&A event. Fans were also able to get autographs and photos from the faction’s individual members, as well as as a group photo alongside the four legendary wrestlers.

As their name suggests, the Nation of Domination dominated during the late 90s, with multiple titles to their name. The Nation were just some of the legends at For the Love of Wrestling, the largest wrestling fan convention in Europe. Attitude Era fans were also given the chance to meet legends including Sting, Mick Foley, and Lex Luger. For fans of more modern-day talents, Tyler Breeze, JDC (fka Fandango), Ash By Elegance (fka Dana Brooke), Heath Slater, and Raj Dhesi were on hand to sign autographs, take photos, and answer questions.
