Former WWE Superstar Ryback recently took part in a “Ask Me Anything” session on the Squared Circle Reddit where he spoke about various topics including his past issues with CM Punk.

The issues come from Punk’s appearance on Cabana’s “Art of Wrestling” podcast from November of 2014 where he spoke about his time in WWE. This is where he told stories about Ryback allegedly being unsafe in the ring and accused him of steroid usage.

“He has personal issues with me because his bullsh** didn’t work with me. Karma dealt with him already. You would hear more stories of me hurting people if that were the case, but it simply isn’t. His steroid allegations are out of pure jealousy. The guy has shit genetics and can’t even get abs cutting weight with MMA training. Our history is in the past and I wish him all the best out of wrestling, but his remarks were done purposely from other personal occurrences.”

With the launch of AEW (All Elite Wrestling), there has been speculation of who the promotion could sign next and getting more talent under contract. Ryback’s name has been talked about by fans. He seems to be interested in having a conversation with officials about the possibility.

“Once I’m healthy I will speak to Cody if I feel I can contribute in a meaningful way. They are going to do very well over time I believe. They have an opportunity to do wrestling the way it always should have been done.”
