Update On Sheamus & Tommaso Ciampa After Scary Spot On SmackDown Live

The continuation of NXT stars appearing on main roster shows took place on Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live in New Orleans, LA at the Smoothie Center on the USA Network.

NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa and NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano worked a tag team match against former WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro).

During the match, there was a scary spot that resulted in speculation by fans that Ciampa and Sheamus might have been injured due to a scary spot.

As seen in the match, Ciampa went for a sunset flip powerbomb off the top rope where Sheamus fell badly on Ciampa’s leg. There were some fans who feared that Ciampa and Sheamus might have been injured. Both stars continued the contest with as Ciampa and Gargano went over in their SmackDown debuts.

Sheamus and Ciampa are said to be okay and the belief is that there was no serious injury suffered, according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com.

As of this writing, WWE has yet to announce which brands that Ciampa, Gargano, Alister Black, and Ricochet will be featured on going forward.
