WWE Confirms Rusev’s Injury, Possible Replacement For Elimination Chamber

WWE has confirmed our earlier report that Rusev suffered an injury at Tuesday night’s SmackDown tapings.

The former United States champion is being evaluated for a ‘lower leg injury’ and it’s unknown at this time if he’ll be able to compete at Sunday’s Elimination Chamber PPV.

In the event that Rusev is unable to compete in the Chamber match for the vacant Intercontinental Championship, it’s expected that he¬†would be replaced by Bray Wyatt.
