WWE SmackDown Results (9/11): Roman Reigns & Jey Uso, Firefly Fun House

Bayley Addressed Her Attack On Sasha Banks

SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley came down to the ring with the chair she used to beat the hell out of Sasha Banks with last week. Bayley took a seat in the middle of the ring as highlights from Banks and Bayley’s recent losses played.

Bayley said she loved every single second of beating Sasha Banks down and claimed that she knew what Sasha was thinking all along. Bayley stated that Banks was waiting for the perfect time to strike and that Sasha was using her.

Bayley said that she was using Banks all the way and become Bayley Dos Straps and the longest reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion. Bayley added that Sasha is now completely useless to her and left the ring.

Nikki Cross Earned Title Shot, Alexa Bliss Hit Sister Abigail

Alexa Bliss, Nikki Cross, Tamina, and Lacey Evans competed in a Fatal 4-Way match to determine who will face Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at Clash of Champions. Before the match, Bayley hit Cross with the chair during her entrance.

Match Recap: Tamina just stood in the corner and booted anyone that came close to her to start off the match. Tamina caught Bliss with a kick to the face and followed it up with a Splash in the corner. Tamina booted Evans out of the ring and then shoved her boot against Alexa’s throat.

Nikki Cross hit Tamina with a couple of punches and knocked her to the canvas with a Clothesline. Cross shoved Tamina out of the ring and Alexa hit her with a Dropkick. Nikki leveled Tamina and Lacey with a Crossbody. Bliss then planted Nikki with the Sister Abigail as SmackDown went to a break.

Evans and Tamina were battling in the corner when SmackDown returned. Evans connected with an Elbow Drop and went for the cover but Tamina kicked out at two. Lacey followed it up with a Bronco Buster and made her way to the top rope. Lacey hit a Moonsault and went for the cover but Nikki Cross broke it up.

Nikki hit Tamina and Lacey Evans with a few Splashes and followed it up with a Bulldog to Tamina. Cross leveled Lacey with a Clothesline and went for the cover but Evans kicked out at two. Tamina launched Cross to the corner but turned a round into a Woman’s Right from Evans. Cross hit Lacey with a Neckbreaker and then rolled up Tamina for the win. Nikki Cross will face Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at Clash of Champions.

Opinion: Bliss’ Sister Abigial was an awesome moment but I’d be lying if I said I was excited for another Bayley versus Nikki Cross match. I’m expecting there to be interference from Sasha Banks or Bliss to make this match remotely interesting at Clash of Champions. Nikki Cross is great but we’ve seen this match way too much.
