Velveteen Dream Questions If It’s Fair To Criticize Vince McMahon

WWE NXT North American Champion The Velveteen Dream got fans talking on social media after he made a series of posts that seem to be defending WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.

The NXT star took to his Instagram Stories to share these posts where he questioned if it’s fair for fans to criticize McMahon over WWE’s product and the current issues that the company has with programming.

He would then express his belief that the blame should be put on the talent and not McMahon for failing to entertain the fans.

It’s no secret that fans have been upset with the WWE product as they’ve voiced their take on social media and stopped watching their weekly television shows – Monday Night RAW and SmackDown Live.

Last Monday’s edition of WWE RAW from Austin, TX averaged 2.405 million viewers while Tuesday’s SmackDown Live from Laredo, TX averaged 2.016 million viewers.

Dream was last seen on television when he beat Tyler Breeze to retain the NXT North American Title at the WWE NXT TakeOver: XXV event in Bridgeport, CT earlier this month.
