Adam Copeland is getting ready for a rare indie match.
Former Impact World Champion Steve Maclin recently appeared on the MLP Mayhem weekly program. He called Canadian wrestling a feeder system to the USA and asked the fans why all their heroes left Canada.
This promo attracted the attention of one Adam Copeland, who is set to make a rare indie appearance at MLP Northern Rising PPV in Toronto on October 3.
The one half of the AEW tag team champions took to social media to respond to Maclin. Claiming that he pisses Molson beer and maple syrup, Copeland challenged Steve to a match at the upcoming PPV from Maple Leaf Gardens:

Adam Copeland most recently competed at the All In PPV where he and Christian Cage successfully defended the AEW tag titles against The Young Bucks.
Though he has not wrestled an indie match since before his time with WWE, so the match against Maclin will be Cope’s indie return after almost 3 decades.
