AEW has unveiled the full 12-man field for the 2025 Continental Classic, with the tournament set to begin on the Thanksgiving Eve edition of Dynamite on November 26 from Nashville, Tennessee.
Reigning AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada will defend his crown throughout the round-robin tournament. Okada, who won the 2024 Continental Classic, now holds both the AEW Continental and International Championships as the AEW Unified Champion. In a high-stakes wrinkle, Okada must win this year\'s tournament to retain his Unified Championship.

Tournament Format and Rules
The Continental Classic features a round-robin format where each competitor faces everyone else in their league. Matches are contested under Continental Rules: a 20-minute time limit, no one allowed at ringside, and strict prohibition against outside interference under threat of being banned from AEW.
The points system awards three points for a victory and one point for a draw. The top two wrestlers from each league will advance to the semifinals at AEW Worlds End in Chicago on December 27, where league winners will face the opposing league\'s runner-up. Both semifinal matches and the tournament final will take place at Worlds End.

Combined with ongoing tension with Don Callis Family stablemate Okada, the Blue League promises fireworks.
Don Callis Family Internal Strife
The tournament places three members of The Don Callis Family in competition: Okada and Kyle Fletcher in the Gold League, with Takeshita in the Blue League. At Full Gear, tension between Okada and Takeshita cost them the CMLL World Trios Championship, and the Continental Classic could further fracture the faction.
