The recent events on the August 12 episode of AEW Dynamite led Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) to label a top legend as rude.
He is none other than the World’s Largest Athlete, Paul Wight, fka Big Show. The Salt of the Earth was a part of a three-way showdown featuring Speedball Mike Bailey and Nick Wayne to determine the #2 entrant in the Casino Gauntlet match at All In 2026.
During the match, Mike Bailey launched himself at MJF and Wayne on the outside of the ring. As MJF was trying to get up near the announcer’s desk, he asked commentator Paul Wight for help. However, the WWE legend refused, saying that he was busy at the time.
Moreover, he continued the insult by giving a bottle of water to Mike Bailey instead of MJF, who had asked for it. Following the match, the Big Hebrew took to X to call Paul Wight rude and to ask everyone to show him respect.

Despite Wight refusing to help, MJF had the last laugh as he managed to topple both Mike Bailey and Nick Wayne to win the match. Now, he has earned the coveted #2 spot in the Casino Gauntlet match at All In 2026.
The winner will receive a future AEW World Championship match. With MJF one step closer to reclaiming the title, it will be interesting to see if he can get the job done at All In.
