Stone Cold Steve Austin is expected to be at WrestleMania 42, according to a new report.
Sources indicated to Bodyslam that Austin is currently scheduled to be backstage at the event in Las Vegas. Whether his presence will remain behind the scenes or lead to an on-screen appearance has not been confirmed, leaving the door open for a surprise moment at Allegiant Stadium.
Austin also has meet and greet appearances scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday at WWE World, the fan experience event running alongside WrestleMania 42 weekend. His presence at those sessions confirms he will be in Las Vegas for the full stretch of the event, regardless of what happens inside the arena.
Austin has not had a regular presence with WWE in some time, making his scheduled attendance noteworthy heading into one of the biggest weekends of the year. His last in-ring appearance came at WrestleMania 38 in 2022, where he defeated Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred match in his hometown of Texas.
WrestleMania 42 takes place April 18-19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, with John Cena serving as host for both nights.
