The 38-year-old Mexican luchador completed law school in June 2025, passing his final exams with an impressive 8.03 average, including a 9.9 score in Civil Procedural Law. Saturday's ceremony marked the official conferral of his law degree.
Mortos joins a small group of professional wrestlers with law degrees, including former WWE star David Otunga, a Harvard Law graduate. Before his wrestling career, Mortos also worked as a veterinarian and nurse.
The La Facción Ingobernable member continues to balance his legal accomplishments with in-ring success. He currently holds the ROH World Tag Team Championship alongside Sammy Guevara, having won the titles at Final Battle in December.
Mortos was last seen on AEW Dynamite: New Year's Smash, competing against ROH World Champion Bandido.
