Bianca Belair has given fans a fresh look at the finger injury that has kept her out of WWE action since WrestleMania 41. The former WWE Women’s Champion fielded a question about her recovery during an Instagram Q&A on her Story, and answered it with a photo rather than words.
Asked “How is your finger?”, Belair posted a close-up of her hand. The image showed her ring finger still marked by scarring from surgery, a reminder that the injury remains a work in progress more than a year on.
Belair suffered the injury during the Women’s World Championship triple threat match against IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 41 Night Two. Her hand became trapped during the match, breaking the finger in multiple places and damaging the knuckle joint.
She initially stayed on television despite the injury, appearing in the Naomi and Jade Cargill storyline and serving as the guest referee for their match at Evolution. Belair then stepped away from WWE programming and underwent reconstructive surgery on the finger earlier this year.
In an earlier update, Belair showed how much the injury had reshaped her hand, revealing that her ring size had jumped from a 7.5 to a 10 and that her ring finger was bigger than her thumb. More recently, she shared video of herself bending the finger again as her physical therapy progressed.
Belair has not wrestled since, though she returned to WrestleMania 42 to announce that she and Montez Ford are expecting their first child. For now, the former WWE Women’s Champion remains focused on her recovery with no timetable set for an in-ring return.
