Britt Baker isn’t giving fans a straight answer about her wrestling future — but she’s not shutting the door on it either.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion has been away from AEW television since November 2024, when she defeated Penelope Ford and confronted Serena Deeb on Dynamite. She’s remained off-screen ever since, leaving her return status a persistent topic of conversation among fans.
Baker shared a beach photo on Instagram this week, and when a fan asked in the comments whether she’d ever wrestle again, she kept things intentionally vague, simply responding:
I dunno should I?
It’s a small comment, but it’s enough to keep the speculation alive given where things currently stand. Earlier this year, AEW President Tony Khan confirmed Baker remains under contract and still highly regarded within the company. He indicated he still expects her to return at some point.
Her contract situation adds another layer to the timeline. Earlier reports indicated Baker signed a five-year deal back in 2021, which would put it on track to expire this fall — though the deal could be extended further due to her absence related to injury.
With nearly two years now passed since her last AEW appearance, Baker’s latest comment is enough to keep hope alive for a return, even if she’s not committing to anything just yet.
