Chad Gable is going to SummerSlam.
Tonight’s episode of Raw featured a big #1 contender’s gauntlet match to determine the challenger for the Intercontinental Champion Penta at the upcoming PPV.
Dominik Mysterio and Joe Hendry started the bout. Dirty Dom got the first pin in the match as he eliminated Hendry with some help from JD McDonagh. The Judgment Day star was then eliminated by Je’Von Evans however, when Danhausen showed up and made a ringpost explode.
Dragon Lee was next to be eliminated by Evans before the young OG himself got taken out by Rusev. Chad Gable entered the match seventh, and he eliminated the Bulgarian Brute with a victory roll. Ethan Page was the final contestant in the bout, but Gable got the better of him, picking up the victory with an ankle lock.
This wasn’t the only SummerSlam match confirmed during the night as WWE also announced that the Usos will be teaming with Jacob Fatu to take on LA Knight, Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys at the PLE. You can check out more about it here.
