Chelsea Green has had enough.
Political hounds on Twitter have targeted the WWE star restlessly after her UFC Freedom 250 Fan Fest appearance. She has previously explained that doing her job did not stop her from continuing to support her community and advocating for human rights.
Her explanations seem to have been in vain, however. People have continued to target the former US Champion. One such fan recently forced the wrestling star to make her stand clear again after they claimed that Green was a MAGA supporter.
Chelsea Green explained that she is a Canadian citizen with no voting rights in America. She also clarified her political affiliations, and the former Champion said that she will choose someone who believes in equal human rights when she does get a vote:
I can handle you saying things about my looks or my talent but what you won’t do is spread lies about my political views. Since you’re so interested in spreading misinformation, here are the facts:
– I am a Canadian citizen
– I can’t vote in America
– I am not MAGA
– I am a liberal / democrat
– When I become a citizen, I will vote for a president who believes in equal human rights
The former Knockouts Champion ended up deactivating her account after this exchange. This isn’t the first time as Green has previously taken herself off Twitter after harassment and death threats over her comments about Hulk Hogan’s passing.
