During the interview, the FTW Champion was asked about the renewed popularity of wrestling in recent times. Chris Jericho explained that the live presentation is a big reason for it alongside good stories and characters:

It's the characters and it's the stories. It's live sports. In this day and age, it's kind of the most valuable entity. It's the one thing people still watch and don't stream. You mentioned the NBA playoffs, the NHL playoffs or AEW Dynamite - it's live, it's happening right here, right now. So you want to be a part of it. You don't wanna really go watch it the next day when you find out what's gonna happen.
I think that keeps it very valuable. But wrestling's always been about characters and about engaging people with stories. If you can connect with the fans then you'll always interest them and they'll always wanna come be a part of what you're doing, come see and watch you.
Chris Jericho successfully defended the FTW title in a triple-threat match against Hook and Katsuyori Shibata at Sunday's Double or Nothing PPV.
The wrestling veteran has been announced for an appearance on this week's Dynamite. He will be hosting a talk show dubbed as 'TV Time With The Learning Tree' on the episode.
The House of Dragon themed episode will also feature a singles match between the AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland and Killswitch as well as a Casino Gauntlet Match to determine the challenger for the AEW World Title at the upcoming Forbidden Door PPV.
