On the January 22, edition of AEW Dynamite, Christopher Daniels shared that his in-ring career is over following a brutal Texas Death Match against "Hangman" Adam Page on the previous Collision. On X, Daniels shared that his family went all out to celebrate his career now that "The Legend Has Retired."

The tribute incudes images from Daniels' time in various promotions including Ring of Honor, AEW, and TNA Wrestling, as well as earlier in his career. The tribute not includes plenty of images of Daniels, but also the character Curry Man, who Daniels portrayed during his tenure with TNA.
Future For Christopher Daniels
While Daniels' has signalled that his days in the ring are over, that may not be the case. Dave Meltzer shared on Wrestling Observer Radio that people have said though Daniels isn't wrestling "for now," AEW is "shooting an angle and [he] may wrestle again later." During Daniels' announcement on Dynamite, Page looked concerned that he'd ended another man's career, teasing that there may be more to come with the Cowboy and the Fallen Angel.
For the time being, Daniels has hung up his boots, but he remains with AEW as the company's head of Talent Relations. Whether fans see him in the ring again remains to be seen, but the love and respect for Daniels shared by his family can't be denied.
