Cody Rhodes was the last man standing at WWE Crown Jewel 2026, leaving Randy Orton decimated.
The opening match of the WWE Premium Live Event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, saw the former members clash in a Last Man Standing match. Right from the opening bell, it was a hellacious battle between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton.
With the rules out the window, the action spilled all over the ringside area. It went into the crowd and all the way up to the entrance ramp. Moreover, Orton and Rhodes brought foreign objects like kendo sticks, steel steps, and chairs into the mix to inflict major damage on each other.
The heated tensions were on full display as The Viper and The American Nightmare battled it out, and neither man refused to stay down for the ten-count. However, as the end approached, Orton had the upper hand on Rhodes when he chose not to use a steel chair on a fallen Orton, and he hit a low blow on him.
Just when The Viper was about to hit a second RKO, Rhodes countered and reversed it into multiple Cross Rhodes to Orton. Right then, Orton’s head hit the side of the steel steps, and he was bruised and struggling to stand.
The Prodigal Son took him down and then stopped the referee from counting to 10. However, in a shocking turn of events, Rhodes finished off Orton with a thunderous punt kick, and the referee again counted to 10, with Orton failing to stand up this time.
With Cody Rhodes ending their feud in a shocking fashion, it will be interesting to see what is next for him.
