946 has a new member, and he introduced himself to Roman Reigns with a steel chair.
Cruz Montana made his main roster debut on Monday’s WWE Raw at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. He showed up masked, ambushed Reigns and then helped 946 overwhelm The Bloodline.
It started with Solo Sikoa vs. Royce Keys. Sikoa nearly won after an Uso Splash, but Bronco Nima, Lucien Price and Carmelo Hayes hit ringside and attacked. The referee called for the bell, giving Sikoa the win by disqualification.
946 kept going, and Reigns and The Usos ran down to even the odds. Reigns went straight for Keys, hitting two Superman Punches. He was setting up for a Spear when a masked man threw a steel chair at him.
The attacker clotheslined Reigns, then pulled off his mask to reveal himself as Montana. He kept unloading on Reigns while the rest of 946 beat down The Bloodline, and by the end Reigns and his family were left laying.
Montana, formerly Mike Santana in TNA, left TNA for WWE and arrived in NXT this summer. Now he’s in the middle of one of Raw’s biggest feuds. Keys had already warned Reigns and The Bloodline ahead of WarGames, and Reigns is also booked for Crown Jewel against Sami Zayn on Saturday.
