A former WWE Champion has undergone an incredible transformation for one of his upcoming projects.
He is none other than the six-time WWE World Champion, Batista. The Animal took to his Instagram stories to reveal that he had put on 20 pounds of muscle for his upcoming project, ‘God of War,’ and now weighs 250 lbs. You can check out the video posted by a fan online below:
Gained 20lbs for GOW.
Batista had slimmed down from his heavier wrestling weight to fit more acting roles. However, upon being cast in God of War to play the role of Kratos, The Animal had to once again put on the muscle he once had to fit the bill.
Moreover, he was not even the original choice for the role. Ryan Hurst had been cast to play Kratos in the film, and he had even shot for about four months in Vancouver. However, Hurst had to be replaced on the project after suffering a torn biceps, and Batista stepped in.
The series will also feature actors like Callum Vinson, Mandy Patinkin, Ed Skrein, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, and others. While no official release date has been announced, it will be a two-season television series released on Amazon.
With Batista looking jacked and ready, it will be interesting to see his performance in the project.
