Drew McIntyre is not bored anymore.
The Scottish Warrior finally became world champion once again during the latest SmackDown episode, after chasing the title for months.
Breaking his silence on social media after his big win, Drew referenced his viral tweet from April 2025 that had garnered over 40 million views, saying that he is not bored at work anymore:

Cody Rhodes defended his WWE title against his former tag team partner from Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany in a Three Stages of Hell match. Drew McIntyre picked up the first fall in a regular match after low-blowing the defending champion. Cody came back with a fall of his own in the following Falls Count Anywhere stage, after putting McIntyre through the announce desk.
The third fall, which was contested inside a Steel Cage, saw both stars kicking out of each other's finishers to keep people guessing till the end. Jacob Fatu, who was mysteriously attacked backstage during a SmackDown episode in October, made his surprise return during the ending sequence of the match.
Fatu first attacked McIntyre, who he was supposed to face in a #1 contenders match before being taken out. He then went after Rhodes, however, allowing Drew the opening he needed to slip out of the cage and become the new champion.
