WWE superstar Drew McIntyre was spotted with a veteran the company released this year.
He is none other than The Celtic Warrior, Sheamus. In a photo posted by Sheamus on X, the two WWE names can be seen posing with Tennessee Titans star Eddie George, UFC star Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, and TNA veteran James Storm. You can check out their photo below:

Drew McIntyre began the year with his ongoing feud with Cody Rhodes. This saw him and The American Nightmare exchange the Undisputed WWE Title before WrestleMania 42. Moreover, McIntyre lost the main event match of the show to Rhodes after dropping the title post-Elimination Chamber PLE.
He ended up having a heated feud with Jacob Fatu on the road to WrestleMania 42, which culminated in an Unsanctioned match between them on Night 1 of the show. Fatu defeated McIntyre, and he has been on a hiatus from WWE since then.
On the other hand, Sheamus had been off WWE television since November 2025. He reportedly dealt with a shoulder injury and was absent from TV. In July 2026, The Great White confirmed that he was not re-signing with WWE and left the promotion, ending his tenure after more than a decade and a half.
With Sheamus’ future uncertain and McIntyre reportedly involved in outside projects right now, we will have to wait and see what comes next for them.
