Why was AEW Rampage cancelled?
In a surprising turn of events, AEW CEO Tony Khan announced on December 22, 2024, that AEW would be taping the last episode of Rampage \"for the foreseeable future\".
The final episode was scheduled to air on December 27, 2024. Rampage, which debuted on August 13, 2021, was AEW\'s second program to be featured on TNT.
The cancellation of Rampage is primarily due to the show not being included in AEW\'s new TV deal with Warner Bros. Discovery, set to begin in January 2025.
