Five AEW Stars Qualify For Clockwork Carnage At WrestleDream

AEW Dynamite/Collision was stacked with qualification matches for Clockwork Carnage at WrestleDream, and five stars have qualified.

Adam Copeland was first to qualify after prevailing over Josh Alexander. Alexander targeted Copeland’s right leg and trapped him in an Ankle Lock, but Copeland hit a spear for the win.

Konosuke Takeshita advanced next after a physical fight with Brian Cage. Cage went all out but Takeshita eventually trapped him in a Dragon Sleeper and tapped him out.

Kazuchika Okada also secured his spot while keeping the AEW International Championship around his waist. Okada got the win after hitting the Rainmaker.

Ricochet also qualified after defeating Ace Austin. Austin came close to winning the match, but Ricochet won with a Spirit Gun followed by Vertigo.

The final qualifier came in the main event, where Darby Allin defended the TNT Championship against Hechicero. Darby retained the title after hitting two Coffin Drops to advance.

Thus, Copeland, Takeshita, Okada, Ricochet and Allin are in the match at Saturday’s pay-per-view, making Clockwork Carnage one of the most star-studded matches on the WrestleDream card.
