Hook is not just making his long-awaited Game Changer Wrestling debut, he is walking straight into a world title match. The AEW star is scheduled to challenge Atticus Cogar for the GCW World Championship on June 27, 2026, at GCW Amerika’s Most Wanted in Los Angeles, according to GCW (GameChangerWrestling on X).
The former FTW Champion was announced for two GCW events, with the title shot serving as the headline of the run. The event takes place at the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Los Angeles.
Hook’s GCW Debut Against Joey Janela Comes First
Before the championship opportunity, Hook makes his GCW debut against Joey Janela at GCW Race Against Time on June 16, 2026. He then follows it up with the Cogar match in Los Angeles 11 days later.
The Amerika’s Most Wanted card features a full lineup beyond the main event:

Hook Remains Active In AEW
Hook is currently an active part of the AEW roster. He most recently competed on the Double or Nothing card, teaming with The Opps (Anthony Bowens and Katsuyori Shibata) in a loss against The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, and Daniel Garcia).
The son of wrestling veteran Taz, Hook is also acting as The Opps’ leader during Samoa Joe’s absence. The GCW crossover follows a period in which Hook explained his recent time away from AEW television.
