Popular rap artist Lil Yachty’s recent revelation was a huge shocker amid being associated with WWE.
Lil Yachty has been appearing on WWE television as Trick Williams‘ cohort for months. In a recent interview on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Yachty revealed he wasn’t doing it for the money and wasn’t getting a big fat check. Instead, the Grammy-nominated rapper said he is losing money for the time he is giving to WWE, but he loved being a part of it.
“It’s not for the money. I don’t want anybody thinking I’m getting some crazy check. I’m losing money doing this, but I love it. I love everything about this shit,” said Yachty. I’m not doing anything this much.
Lil Yachty’s presence alongside Trick Williams has helped him to become a much more established star. Moreover, it led to Trick Willy becoming a two-time WWE United States Champion, and he became an integral part of those title wins.
Furthermore, Lil Yachty also had his debut in-ring match in WWE recently. He squared off against Baron Corbin in Sunday Night’s Main Event and survived five minutes with the WWE veteran while delivering an exceptional performance. As per the stipulation, Yachty’s victory earned Williams a US title shot, and he defeated Corbin right after to regain the title.
With Lil Yachty becoming a regular and enthralling fixture for WWE television, it will be interesting to see what is next for him.
