Another TNA star could become a free agent soon.
Jake Something, who made his return to the company during the Slammiversary PPV in July 2023, was originally believed to have signed a two-year contract with the promotion.
This would have meant that his deal with the company would have expired sometime in the mid-2026, but it doesn't appear to be the case.
According to the reports from Fightful Select, Something's is also among the names whose contracts are set to expire at the end of this year.
With this update, Jake Something joins the list of TNA talents such as Zachary Wentz, AJ Francis, Steve Maclin, and Jody Threat among others who could become a free agent in the coming weeks.
One such big name in Joe Hendry is already reported to have signed a WWE deal. There were months left in the former TNA Champion's contract with the Anthem-owned promotion, but WWE officials seemed to have bought out the remainder of his deal with the partner organization.
There is no word on if TNA officials have contacted Jake about a potential contract renewal. He's previously made appearances for both AEW and NJPW, and it's possible that these promotions would show interest in Something if he becomes a free agent.
