Jarrett's match with Castagnoli will come amid his feud with MJF. The former AEW World Champion has been insisting that Jarrett won’t capture the AEW World Title without his help. So far, Jarrett has declined the offer, and the two have traded barbs and fists in recent weeks.
Jarrett is determined to prove he has one more World Title run left in him. As he enters the final year of his last professional wrestling contract, the WWE Hall of Famer is eager to make it happen. Despite Jeff's determination, Fightful Select has reported that there are "no creative plans to put the AEW World Heavyweight title on Jeff Jarrett" at this time, though that could always change.
