All Elite Wrestling\’s Kota Ibushi is at the proverbial limit of his career, but won\’t stop competing in the squared circle just yet. Speaking to Tokyo Sports this week, Ibushi discussed his career and the toll his body has taken over the years.
\”My legs are at their limit and it could end at any time. I wanted to keep going before I can\’t do it anymore… I\’m really at the limit, but I want to contribute to the world of professional wrestling before I end my career, so I\’m currently appearing in various places.\
Ibushi\’s career has seen several injuries occur, including injuries to both of his ankles at a NOAH event in January of this year. While Ibushi finished the match, which saw him defeat Naomishi Marufuji, he was taken to a hospital shortly after. Ibushi returned to action in August for DDT Pro Wrestling, where he was on the losing end of an eight-man tag-team match.
One of the \”various places\” fans hope to see Ibushi compete is AEW as he signed a contract with the promotion in November of last year. Ibushi is currently 3-1 in the company, with his most recent match coming that same month.
