The Anti-Diva squared off against Jacy Jayne in a singles match for her WWE Women’s United States Championship on the August 28 episode of SmackDown. Despite her veteran experience and valiant effort, Paige failed to dethrone Jayne. Following her defeat, Nikki Bella attacked her from behind and left her lying inside the ring.
After SmackDown, Paige took to her X to call her out for blindsliding her with a cowardly attack and promised to end her comeback for good.

The rivalry between Paige and Nikki Bella intensified at WWE SummerSlam 2026. The duo, alongside Brie Bella, took a huge defeat at the hands of Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Lainey Reed, and Fallon Henley)in a six-woman tag team match, with Paige taking the pinfall.
This led Nikki Bella to snap and shockingly attack the former three-time WWE Divas Champion, ending their alliance. For weeks, both veterans have been going back and forth against each other, and Nikki’s recent attack on Paige has ignited this feud even more.
Furthermore, as revealed during the show’s tapings, Nikki Bella and Paige will square off in a singles match on the September 11 episode of SmackDown in Mexico City, which is expected to be a blockbuster match on the card.
