Missy Hyatt has publicly defended Tommy Dreamer following allegations that surfaced over the weekend, sharing a detailed list of positive experiences she witnessed from Dreamer during his time working in ECW, WWE, and TNA.
Hyatt posted the comments on social media.
“I seen some disparaging comments about Tommy Dreamer online. My interactions with Dreamer have always been cordial and professional. I have nothing bad to say about him. These are the things I witnessed that Tommy did for others.
He recommended tryouts and jobs for so much indy talent when he worked for ECW, WWE, and TNA. I guess he’s confident in his own spot and didn’t feel threatened like so many that someone could steal his spot. He helped so many put together matches by emphasizing their strengths. He would call WWE Wellness to help troubled souls find help before it was too late. TNA’s loss and an asset to any company and locker room.”
Over the weekend, several wrestlers who had worked with Dreamer shared accounts on social media, including Perch, Carlie Bravo, and Kennedi. Mickie James also weighed in on Bravo’s account, claiming parts of his story were being left out.
Dreamer departed TNA Wrestling earlier this week, with the company confirming the parting of ways after he had been a key creative team member for a decade.
