During the interview, the AEW World Champion also discussed his role in Happy Gilmore 2. When asked about sharing the screen with Eminem for the movie, MJF noted how he beat the shit out of the rap star:

“I did beat the shit out of Eminem, yeah. Marshall Mathers, he rolls deep. He showed up on that movie set with a big crew, probably 10-15 dudes, and they were all easily as big as Luchasaurus. It’s like massive human beings, and I get it because he’s seen some sh*t.\"

MJF then admitted that meeting Eminem on the set of the movie was the first time in his life that he was truly star-struck:

\"So I’d imagine it’s no different than when a wrestling fan might see me out and about, being next to who is arguably the greatest rapper of all time was one of the only times in my life where I was star struck was that moment.”

The 29-year-old later revealed that he had originally auditioned for the role of the evil golfer in the movie, which would have been with Becky Lynch\'s character. When Adam Sandler saw his audition, the Hollywood star chose him for the role of his son.
