Major League Wrestling has confirmed that this Saturday's sold-out event at Cicero Stadium in Chicago will serve as an official television taping for the new season of MLW Fusion, the promotion's flagship series that has been off the air since December 2023.
The February 7 event — originally announced as "Lucha Apocalypto" — marks the first Fusion taping of 2026 and the show's first new content in over two years. MLW had announced the Fusion revival on January 20, though this Saturday's taping comes ahead of the previously announced March 14 taping in Atlanta.
The taping carries significant storyline weight following Battle Riot VIII, which airs today (February 5) on MLW's YouTube.
Chicago Remains MLW's Hottest Market
Saturday's sellout marks the fourth consecutive sold-out event at Cicero Stadium since 2024.
MLW has already announced a return to Cicero Stadium on November 7, with tickets going on sale February 9. Fans attending Saturday will receive exclusive early access to those tickets.
MLW Fusion previously aired on beIN Sports and YouTube. Broadcast details for the 2026 season have not yet been confirmed.
The promotion has also announced an upcoming Fusion taping in New York City, with tickets going on sale February 13.
