Montez Ford has released his third solo album, AFTERTHETIDE, under his music moniker TEZ. The nine-track project landed on streaming platforms on Friday, following his first two full-length efforts, God Is Good and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TEZ, both released in 2024.
Bianca Belair, Ford’s wife and fellow WWE Superstar, hyped the new music on her Instagram Story. She said it was the first time he let her hear the album in full, adding it was “sooo fire.”
Ford has built a steady side career in music since debuting under the King Tez name in 2022, often folding wrestling references and personal milestones into his lyrics. AFTERTHETIDE’s title and its track “TIDES.” point to a recurring theme running through the record.
The release comes on the heels of a big year for the couple. In the ring, the Street Profits made WWE history with a World Tag Team Title win in London back in June. At home, Belair recently announced the birth of the couple’s first child together, a son named Romeo Leonardo Allen Crawford.
Ford referenced the album’s completion himself back in April, listing it among the things he’d accomplished during his time away from WWE before returning alongside Angelo Dawkins the Monday after WrestleMania.
