More On Brody King Missing Dynamite

Brody King was never scheduled for Dynamite.

WBD denied blocking the heavyweight star from making an appearance on AEW TV after reports of the broadcast giant's concern over the viral anti-ICE segment became a topic of discussion yesterday. This came after the 38-year-old missed the Wednesday night show despite being set for a World title match just 2 days later.

Providing an update on the matter, PWInsider is now reporting that the Hounds of Hell star was never scheduled to make an appearance on Dynamite, and it was the travel schedule that led to him missing the show:

"PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources that Brody King was never scheduled for last night's AEW Dynamite taping. King and others flew out of LAX last night to Australia, requiring them to miss Dynamite due to the travel schedule."

AEW will be presenting the Grand Slam Australia event from Sydney on February 14, where King will be challenging MJF for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship.

The show will also feature a ladder match involving Australian native Kyle Fletcher as well as a big #1 contender match for the AEW title. You can check out the full card for the event here.
