MPV has touted the affordability of AEW.
The high cost of WWE tickets has been a topic of discussion among wrestling fans in recent times amid news of slow WrestleMania ticket sales. AEW has taken advantage of this talk with a number of talents promoting the company as the affordable alternative to the combat sports juggernaut that is TKO.
The former US Champion joined this list during his most recent interview with Battleground Podcast. MVP first talked about the rapid rate of inflation across the board and then took a shot at WWE for charging more money than an average wrestling fan can afford:
Right now in our country, we have a problem with affordability across the board. I don’t care what your political affiliation is — it’s tough. And whatever your wrestling affiliation is, you have to admit that there are some companies that are charging more than the average wrestling fan can afford to go and see some good live wrestling.

Affordability Matters: MVP
MVP then noted that affordability is a priority for Tony Khan and AEW. He mentioned how the company generally tapes Dynamite and Collision together, which means you get two shows at the price of one. The 52-year-old then took another dig at his former employers, saying that you don't have to spend two months of salary to afford good seats at AEW shows:
AEW — affordability matters, and we love the fact that Tony Khan has set up All Elite Wrestling as a company where we get down to wrestling. It’s where the best go to wrestle, and a father of two or three — a family of four — can go to an AEW show and have a great time. You can buy affordable seats ringside, sit just a few rows back, and not have to spend two months salary to do it. I think that’s a beautiful thing.
