Pac’s death has been officially ruled natural.
The AEW star, real name Benjamin Satterley, was found unresponsive in a rental car at around 4 p.m. on Sept. 27. It was reported at the time that there was no reason to suspect foul play, but additional testing would be needed to determine the exact cause of his death, which could take a number of weeks.
A spokesperson for the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed to California Post on Friday that officials have finished the investigation and concluded that Satterley passed away from bronchial asthma. The rep added that the manner of his death has officially been ruled natural.
Pac has received many touching tributes since his passing. This includes AEW dedicating the September 30 episode of Dynamite to his memory and WWE posting a lengthy video featuring tributes from a number of roster members.
