Possible Location For Adam Copeland’s Final AEW Match Revealed

Adam Copeland will end his AEW career in 2027, and the location has reportedly been discussed within the company.

According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, speculation suggests that Tony Khan’s company could host Adam Copeland’s retirement match in his hometown of Toronto, Canada. One source suggested that AEW would likely make an effort to make it happen. However, as of this writing, no date and location have been reportedly finalized.

On the latest episode of a three-hour special Dynamite/Collision, Adam Copeland defeated Josh Alexander to qualify for the Clockwork Carnage at AEW WrestleDream 2026. After that, he grabbed the microphone and made the shocking announcement that 2027 will be his final year in the ring.

The Rated-R Superstar returned to wrestling at the 2020 Royal Rumble after a nine-year absence. After a three-year stint with WWE, his contract expired, and Cope signed with rival promotion AEW.

Since then, he has been an integral part of the AEW roster. Moreover, he had long said he would end his career with the Jacksonville-based wrestling company. On Dynamite, Cope finally unveiled the timeline for his last outing as an in-ring competitor.

If Cope has his last match in Toronto, it would be a memorable moment, and he could finally end his career on his own terms.
