Ric Flair has reportedly been hospitalized after a fall in Tampa, Florida, just hours after he disclosed that he was dealing with a blood clot.
TMZ reported that Flair was at a Wagamama restaurant on Friday morning, October 23, when he got up from the bar and walked across the street.
According to TMZ’s sources, he suddenly fell outside and hurt his face. A photo TMZ obtained shows emergency medical personnel gathered around him.
Reports suggest that Flair cut his head and eye open in the fall and that the eye was bleeding heavily. He may also have a concussion. He was taken to a hospital, and no further medical update has been given yet.
The incident comes on the same day Flair posted on social media that he has a blood clot in his leg. He apologized to fans in Seattle for canceling a scheduled appearance because of it. The 77-year-old WWE Hall of Famer had first disclosed the blood clot in August, when he said he would still make a signing in Philadelphia.
