An important update has emerged ahead of the WWE Crown Jewel 2026 Premium Live Event.
According to the Wrestling Observer on X, the Riyadh airport has reopened after multiple attacks by the Houthis. However, the flight restrictions are still in place, and several major sporting events scheduled to take place in Riyadh have either been postponed or canceled. As for WWE Crown Jewel 2026, the event is still scheduled for November 7 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
According to the latest update from PWInsider, there has been no discussion of relocating WWE Crown Jewel to a different location, and the company has been in regular contact with Saudi officials and private security agencies. However, other reports say WWE still has a backup location in the US.
As of this writing, two matches have been made official for the event. They will be Champion vs. Champion matches for the Men’s and Women’s Crown Jewel Championships between RAW and SmackDown’s top champions.
RAW’s World Heavyweight Champion, Roman Reigns, will battle SmackDown’s Undisputed WWE Champion, Sami Zayn. Similarly, WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan will compete against WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green.
With the event moving ahead as planned, it will be interesting to see things unfold in the coming weeks.
